Portuguese
For....
Many
thanks to Chris Rawsthorne who is busy building a new life for
himself in Portugal. Chris took a break from constructing his
new home to go on an important mission to find out what the shite
meant in Portuguese, and it is 'a merda' (pronounced uh merduh).
Upon asking some of the locals for the Portuguese version, they
knew immediately that Chris was talking about our beloved neighbours
over at Analfield. As Chris says, 'there shite, and they know
they are'. (15/12/04)

Ancient
Eygptian For.....
On
a recent trip to Egypt I discovered that even in ancient times
they had found that they were shite then, study the translation
from the text found in the Pyramids. Mark Burton (13/12/04)

Gaelic
For...............
As
it is the 200th Derby this weekend, we have conclusive proof,
if it was ever needed, that shite fans are fuckin' thick:
I
easily managed to get one to pose in work holding this sign 'An
Cac', pronounced an cack. This is roughly translated from the
Gaelic language for - The Shite!! Once a blue.........

As

our much loved neighbours.
We
are all working in Bosnia & Hercegovina where Everton are
now well and truly on the map.
Big

(Scotland), Aidan O'Sullivan (Ireland), Bob Macadam (Canada),
Marjan Prah (Slovenia), And Marjan Simic and his son (Bosnia).
The
local word for the shite is GOVNO (Pronounced goovno). Watch this

Thai
For....................
Just
got back from Bangkok, Thailand , checking out the Chang Beer
in its true environment. Attached is a photo of myself with a
number of Thai Holiday reps. Apparently there a number of different
versions of 'the shite' , Royal Shite , Elephant Shite , Human
Shite. This version is apparently a version of 'common shite'
, which I thought would be closer to the truth. Neil from

Afrikaans
For............
Nick
Said from Cape Town in sunny South Africa, has sent us in a host
of names for our beloved neighbours who currently sit nine points
behind us. Be it said in Afrikaans, Xhosa, or Sotho, it all means
the same 'the shite', and they know it. Cheers again Nick, but
why the desk at work, anybody else would have gone to the top
of Table Mountain, to get the photo. C'mon get your finger out.
Well played (28/11/04) |

Irish
For..........
Our
Irish Toffeeman was obviously a bit bored in the office one dinner
hour, so what better thing to do than print 'the shite', up in
Irish. Many thanks to Simon Maxwell, who also tells us that in
the North of the Emerald Isle, our neighbours are affectionately
known as 'The Sheyt'!. Whatever the pronunciation, we all know
they are. Well played Simon.
C'mon
all you Toffees around the globe, send bluekipper.com your photo's
in honour of our local rivals. (23/11/04)

German For..........
Whilst
In Mochengladbach in Germany, to research more variants of the
shite, Lavo bumped into a fellow Toffeeman, and several bemused
Germans, who went along with the photo under the threat of violence.
So
now you know that the German for the shite is 'Die Scheisse',
you have no excuses when holidaying in Germany.
Many
thanks to Rossy (The Toffeeman holding the card), Little Stevey,
Ken from Boeing in America, and three Germans who after much confusion
gave us the slang for our beloved neighbours. (19/11/04)

Spanish
For.........
On
a recent scouting mission to the Island of Ibiza, to check out
some of the local breweries, we took it upon ourselves to learn
some of the local lingo.
Sausage,
Lavo with the help of Simon, and the kids took it upon themselves
to find out what 'the shite' meant in Spanish. With the help also
of J'aime our amiable Ibizian bar tender, he kindly told us that
'La Mierda' (pronounced Meer-tha) was Spanish for shite.
Calling
on Toffee's world wide. Your mission is whether you be in the
Middle East, The Far East, The North East, is to find out the
local slang for the shite, in celebration of our local neighbours.
Please
attach a photo, and we can have a chuckle at our friends who sit
below us in the Premiership.(03/10/04) |
