Have
just got back off safari in Tanzania and couldn't resist getting
our cook on the safari, called Hamed, to give me the translation
for red shite in Swahili.
Not
sure if Hamed really knew what I was talking about so I proceeded
to inform him that the shite are infact shite.

For.......
What
do you do if you are stuck in New Zealand, its obvious, you find
a six foot plank of wood, find a Maori who knows that the shite
are shite, paint it on the six foot plank of wood, and bobs your
uncle. Well played to Jamie Horton for doing just that !!

our end of season piss up in Riga….Sarkanie sudi.

My
husband, Ran and our 10 month old baby, Dean (aka: 'Young Dixie'
- my uncle's dog is called Dixie so we had to settle for the
'Dean' bit)!
The
photo is taken in Bulgaria near the Turkish border and the sign
they're holding says 'Chervenoto Lie-No', which of course means
'The Red shite' in Bulgarian!

Latvian
For.....
Just
got back from my Cousins stag do in Riga, Latvia. This horrible
little red shite epitomises all that is wrong with supporting
the RS.
The barman wrote down "Labais Suds" which Craig here
thought meant "Big Small" (He's only a litte midget
you see) and he was quite happy to pose in his England top with
Gerrard on!!

Cantonese
For.....
I
saw a Cantonese version of "redshite"
at 13/04/05 on bluekipper. However, as a Hongkongese myself, I
can tell that this version is actually too polite to the redshite.
The three words "???" (pronounce: "hung fai mud")
only mean "red rubbish". So, I am sending the real Cantonese
version of "redshite". It pronounces "hung see".
I feel sad that I will move to The Netherlands soon and can't
visit Goodison Park that often. But will surely always keep myself
updated on the Toffees and maybe I can be at the Philips Stadium
watching the Blues beating PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League
next next season. Who knows!

For.....
I
was in Peru with my son walking the Inca Trail. Peruvians speak
mainly Spanish but our guide spoke Quechua, the language of the
descendants of the Incas.
After a few Cusquenas (local ale) she told us that the Quechuan
for Red Shite was PUKA KAKA.
