With most of the squad signing long contracts, there maybe little movement out in January 2008. We will be monitoring the facts, our inside info and the rumours about players who may be leaving Everton. We will be giving kippers out of 5. The more kippers the more likely we think the transfer will happen. If there are rumours you have heard let bluekipper.com know. info@bluekipper.com

Fishy Out Summer 2007

Transfer Window - 1st January Until 31st January 2008

9. Alan Stubbs

Stubbsey has finally pulled the plug on his Blues playing career, after joining Derby County's fight against the inevitable drop from the Premiership. Stubbsey made 193 appearances for the Blues after he originally signed from Celtic back in 2001 in two spells at Goodison. Me thinks though that Stubbsey will be back at Goodison in the future after he enjoyed a brief spell coaching and managing the Blues reserve outfit. Good luck Alan for the future, and see you soon.

8. Joleon Lescott

Sir Alex of Manure and Arse from the Arse are predictably sniffing round Everton's Player of the Season by a street Joleon 'Roger' Lescott. If the cultured centre back carries on his brilliant Blues performances, many more clubs both home and abroad will be expressing an interest in Roger. The Blues defender has two and a half years left on his contract, and is more than happy at the Blues, and will be for many years to come. Back to the drawing board Arse and Alex.

7. Thomas Gravesen

Tommy has only started 3 games this season, so Moyesy may let him go to Galatasaray. The Turkish club are interested and Celtic are keen to get rid of a player on £40,000 a week, even though he is on loan at Everton until the end of the season. (17/01/08)

6. Lukas Jutkiewicz

Luke has joined his old Boss Paul Sturrock who is now at Plymouth on loan till the end of the season. The front man chances of first team football have been limited at Goodison, and Moyesy is happy for his reserve striker to gain some much needed first team football. (01/01/08)

Signed For Plymouth On Loan

5. Alan Irvine

Everton's 1st Team Coach Alan Irvine has been linked with the vacant Preston North End post after the sacking of Paul Simpson. Alan who has been with the Blues since Moyesy's arrival in 2002, has expressed an interest in one day holding the reins of a club instead of the Number Two position. Watch this space as they say. (17/11/07)

Everton's No. 2 Alan Irvine joined Preston to become their Manager after five and a half years with the Blues. Good Luck Alan. (20/11/07)

4. James McFadden

Everton have confirmed that an undisclosed fee has been agreed with Birmingham and McFadden can now talk to Birmingham.

Depending which media source you believe, Faddy will be a Brum player for their game against Chelsea at the weekend at a cost of between £5m - £6m plus add ons. McFadden has yet to agree personal terms, but it looks like he's on his way. (17/01/08)

Reports in the media say a £5m bid will be made by Birmingham this week and Everton will let Jimmy Mac go and perform his juggling tricks in the Midlands. (16/01/08)

Ex Everton boss Walter Smith is keen on taking Jimmy Mac to Rangers.

Walter says: "McFadden is a player we would be interested in. No club wants to sell its best players in the January window and we won't be signing anyone unless it is someone who can improve the team." (14/01/08)

The Blues are giving me the impression that they are not bothered about Jimmy Mac going but only if the price is right. Alex McLeish at Brum is still in hot pursuit of our frustrating but occasionally world class player and is looking at ways of upping the cash offer currently at £2.5m. Bully Beef is making all the right noises about not wanting Faddy to leave, but is tantalisingly leaving the door open for an increased offer from Brum.

Bully says: "We have heard from several clubs regarding James McFadden's availability. We are monitoring the situation but our position remains the same and that is that James remains a valuable member of our first team squad." (11/01/08)

Birmingham City are weighing up another bid for Jimmy Mac, after having one bid rejected.

Blues boss Alex McLeish says: "Will I go back in for McFadden? We will have a think about things. I am in daily discussions with the two Davids [Sullivan and Gold] and Karren Brady. We will certainly try and do something, yes. I don't like to commit myself until have something concrete to tell you. It'd be misleading for the fans and alerting our rivals." (10/01/08)

Everton have turned down a £2.5m bid from Birmingham for Faddy. (05/01/08)

Everton have knocked back Celtic's approach for Faddy. But if James doesn't start getting games he may have to consider his options.

Bully Beef Wyness says: "It is absolute nonsense to suggest that James McFadden will be joining Celtic on loan. The fact is Celtic made a request to us on Saturday and it was immediately rejected out of hand. We are in the Carling Cup semi-finals, the last 32 of the UEFA Cup and still have the FA Cup to come. We also have Premiership commitments, so we need all our top players around."

Faddy says: "I'd love to play in the Premiership but if it's not going to happen, or if a chance to go back to Scotland came in and I felt it was the right thing for me, then I would do it. The club have made it clear they want to offer me a contract and I have not gone down that road yet because I want to try to get into the team before I start talking about contracts." (24/12/07)

Everton along with Faddy's Agent Willie McKay have been quick to respond to comments over Faddy and Celtic. We have not been so quick as I had a bit of a curry last night, and you know the trots, all morning, Jesus, never again. Anyhow Alan Irvine is adamant Faddy is part of the Blues plans.

Alan Irvine says: "If your players are doing well then other people will look at them and hope to sign them but we’re not looking to sell any players, we’ve been patiently building the squad and we are not looking to sell players. There was speculation recently about Andrew Johnson and he signed a new contract, so that shows what the clubs intentions are as far as that’s concerned. I believe there is a bit of speculation with Faddy now, but as I said with Andy, we have no plans to sell James McFadden." (15/11/07)

Scottish hero Jimmy Mac is said to be interesting Gordon Strachan at Celtic, who may line up a bid in January for the Blues striker. Jimmy who is playing out of his skin for Scotland this season, and in turn is having one of his best season's at Everton is still struggling to find first team footy with the Blues, and a move for the right price may suit Jimmy and Moyesy." (13/11/07)

Signed For Brum

3. Andy Johnson

This rumour just does not seem to be going away that West Ham will be signing AJ come the transfer window in January. Assistant Boss Alan Irvine has rubbished claims that the Blues have any intention of selling Andy to West Ham or anyone for that matter, whatever the price.

Alan Irvine says: "I was very surprised with reports about Andy in the papers. We have no intention of selling Andy Johnson, he is a really important player for us. It is not even something we would consider. Andy Johnson is doing more and more ball work now and hopefully by this time next week he will be training with us. Once he is training with us then he will be available for selection." (30/10/07)

2. Mikel Arteta

The Mikky to Madrid rumour is doing the rounds again in a few rags this morning, so proper footy news must be thin on the ground. Mikky's agent although welcoming interest in his star pupil from Giants Madrid is adamant that the Spanish genius is going nowhere. We will hold you to that Senor Ibanez.

Mikky's Agent Inaki Ibanez says: "No-one from Real Madrid has come to us. But it is normal that a great club is interested in Arteta because he is doing very well." (16/10/07)

Blue Kipper says:

1. Anderson De Silva

After being on the bench against Spurs last night, Anderson de Silva has joined Barnsley permanently. He made just one substitute appearance for the first team. (31/01/08)

Anderson who is currently on loan at Barnsley is wanted full time by Tykes Manager Simon Davey. Anderson can only stay at The Yorkshire Club for 93 days under League Rules, and Davey is keen to sign him up full time come January. The Blues paid £700,000 for the Brazilian and they will want to re coup that and more for the midfielder.

Davey says: "At the moment David Moyes is away because of the international break but I will be putting in a call next week. We can only keep Anderson here for another month because of the Football League 93-day rule but I will be asking the question after the weekend." (13/10/07)
