21. Henrik Larsson

It looks like we can definitely strike Henrik Larsson from our Christmas wish list after he stated on his website, that he has no intention of leaving Sweden for the Premiership. Apart from the £70k a week being a stumbling block, Henrik it seems is staying put, so back to Plan B.

Henrik says: "It’s amazing. I’ve read so many stories linking me with a move to Everton and a move to Aston Villa when I haven’t spoken to either club or any other club in England. There is absolutely no truth in any stories linking me with a transfer to The Premiership. The details of talks I’m meant to have had are totally made up. I don’t know where these stories have come from, but they are just untrue. In an ideal world if I do continue to play football it will be in Sweden and not anywhere else. I’ll keep you all up to date with anything that happens, but believe me there is no truth whatsoever in these rumours." (15/12/08)

The Swedish International will cost around £70,000 a week and therefore would not be in Everton's price range for a 37 year old. (11/12/08)

Moyesy will have to plunder the January transfer market for a front man with injuries to The Yak and James Vaughan limiting his options up front. The press today is full of Henrik Larsson making his way to Goodison on a six month loan deal, and it is believed the player himself would love another crack at the Premiership after a similar deal at Old Trafford two seasons ago. Henrik made his name at Glasgow Celtic, before moving onto Barcelona at the latter stages of his career.

20. Kris Boyd

Moyesy could be in for 25 year-old Boydy (to his mates) according to the local press. The Rangers stiker knows were the net is having scored 62 times in 90 games aswell as 7 in 15 for Scotland. Former Everton boss Walter Smith would not like to loose him. (27/11/08)

19. Szabolcs Huszti

The Hungarian International forward fancies a move to the Premier league and some reports say Everton, Bolton and Portsmouth are interested. The 25 year old Shaza (to his mates) is currently with Hannover 96. He has 38 caps with just 6 goals.

Shaza says: "I've have also heard about the interest of the mentioned clubs. But at the moment I'm not worried about my future. I can only say more about the rumours when I sign a contract - or when it's decided that I stay here in Hannover. I think the most unlikely possibility is that I stay. The Premier League and Primera Divison are the best championships in the world and I'd love to continue my career there in order to reach my best football. It is true that I could face big rival players in these leagues but I like challenges. If I didn't then I wouldn't have moved from Ferencvaros to Metz some years ago. I think at the age of 25 it is high time for me to change." (24/11/08)

Blue Kipper says:

18. Kyle Naughton

According to a couple of papers Everton are looking at Kyle. Moyesy came across him when he was on loan at Gretna at the same time as John Paul Kissock. The Sheffield United right back has already won an England U21 cap this season. The 20 year old can also play in midfield. (20/11/08)

17. Eljero Elia

The Sunday papers have Everton in prime position for FC Twente's 21 year-old winger. Also in the race are Hull and Birmingham. (16/11/08)
