No
One Leaves
Everton
Chairman Blue Bill has assured Evertonians around the Globe that
no one is for sale in January. With the likes of Man City and alike
able to throw cash round like confetti, The Chairman has reiterated
the fact that no Everton player is going anywhere. Bill also assured
fans that if anyone became interested in the club with the right
financial clout he would stand aside in the interests of Everton
Football Club.
Blue
Bill says: "None of our players is for sale. They
are a remarkable bunch of lads who really do play for each other.
It
was tough at the beginning of the season, but even when the going
gets tough you have to try like mad to keep your sense of perspective.
It is very difficult because the game is more than ever about winning
and when you are not winning I would be lying to say the worries
don't creep in. But never ever to the extent of nightmare worries
or that we won't sort it out.
Would
I like to be chairman next year with the kind of money in place
that David needs? Yes, but in no way would that be any kind of obstacle
to anyone coming into the club. I do think for anyone looking to
invest in a football club, Everton has everything you need. Our
search goes on. I sort of know why it hasn't happened yet. In the
main, the economic climate for the last few months means no-one
has got the money to invest in football. Right now that is the biggest
reason." (30/12/08)

Mikel Arteta
It
was The Arse last week, and according to a few Sunday rags this
morning Man Shitteeehh are apparently lining up a £12m bid
for our Spanish Magician. Moyesy apparently has evaluated the
bid, thought long and hard, talked with Blue Bill, thought again,
and for £12m Shitteeehh can have Mikky's right arm. They
may be the richest club in the world, but they face a relegation
battle, and our Spaniard is going nowhere, well hopefully Wembley
come May with the Blues, get in there. (04/01/09)
A
day after Blue Bill said no one was for sale, his own, Moyesy's
and maybe even Mikky Arteta's resolve will be tested as Arsenal
are believed to be lining up a £12m bid for our Spanish
Magician. The reason is their own Spanish magician Cesc Fabregas
is out for the rest of the season, and he needs replacing. Now
The Arse are on their way down, as the Blues are on their way
up, and maybe its just newspapers scurrying for news that isn't
there. Mikky's staying, God I hope so anyway. (31/12/08)

champions Rubin Kazan are talking about Peanuts coming to them in
January. Rubin coach Kurban Berdyev will have some dosh to bring
in new players. We can't see it happening. Steven has just signed
a 3 year contract.
Berdyev
says: "Last year we had talks with the South African
Pienaar. He
is now at Everton, but he doesn't always play and he may be thinking
about our offer." (05/11/08)

Yakubu
Weekend
rags are claiming that Hawwy Wedknapp may be making a January bid
for The Yak. Hawwy has made no secret that he loves the Blues hit
man, after having him (no not that way) at Pompey. With the likes
of Berbatov, Keane and Defoe all leaving Spurs in the last six months,
they find themselves bereft of front men. The said rag claims that
a bid of between £10 - £12m may be enough to tempt The
Yak darn south. Think again Hawwy me thinks !! (10/11/08)
Rumours
are flying around that Arsene Wenger is looking at the possibility
of bringing the Yak to the smoke in January. (31/10/08)
