 Somethin' Fishy Goin' On

During the close season, & now the season itself, we will be monitoring rumours about players who are leaving or signing for Everton. We will be giving kippers out of 5. The more kippers the more likely we think the transfer will happen. If there are rumours you have heard let Blue Kipper know. info@bluekipper.com

Fishy Out 2003                          Fishy in 2003

8. Mark Pembridge

It's confirmed that Pembo has now joined Fiulham for £500K

Rumours have it that Fulham have made a bid of £500k for Pembo. We don't expect this to go through, but Pembo could be used as part of the Davis transfer in January when the transfer window re-opens.

Blue Kipper says:(in Jan)

Pembo

Wayne Rooney

7. Wayne Rooney!!

Moyesy has come out and told Chelsea and anyone else for that matter to do one.

He said: "The Russians haven't got enough money to buy him. We are not selling Wayne Rooney. We are building a team that we want Wayne Rooney to be part of for a long time to come. This is just silly season speculation, nothing more than that."(07/07/03)

New Chelsea owner and billionaire, Mr Boris I'm Fuckin' Loadedski, has a plan which includes an audacious £30m bid for our Wayne. An Everton spokesman said, ' We are not surprised about any interest in Wayne Rooney. There has been no contact at the moment and David Moyes is trying to build a team here not dismantle it!'
On yer bike Boris! (06/07/03)

6. Tomasz Radzinski

Fans won't be happy with the news that The Rad may be sacrificed for cash, so that Moyesy can continue his team building for next season. Everton could get £10m for him, if one of the Champions League teams comes in for him. Tommy was probably most fans player of the season. His goals alone kept us fighting for Europe up until the death. He was a completely different player under Moyes. Although he hasn't got a tackle in him to save his life, he challenged & chased like a man possessed. He certainly wasn't the player Walter bought. The fans loved him.

On the other hand, Tommy was honest enough to say, he joined Everton for the money. He left Anderlecht, who were in the Champions League to come to Goodison. Having played in Poland, Canada, & Belgium, it won't be a wrench to go elsewhere. Although Tommy scored some great goals last season, he also missed plenty. Some sitters as well. The other thing was that Tommy wasn't happy being substituted every time a certain Wayne Rooney was on the bench. It was also apparent to some people, that Tommy never made himself available for the last few games, even though at a push he could have. He won't be happy when The Duke comes back, as England's new centre forward, raring to go & physically stronger. Tommy will start the season on the bench. Great for the fans, but will Tommy accept it. With £10m, Moyesy could afford to get a young striker as back-up for Rooney, & have enough to buy two or three midfielder's. Just a thought, but it could happen. (25/05/03)

Blue Kipper says:

Gezzer

5. Paul Gerrard

Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe Royle has just let his top goalie, Andy Marshall go on a free transfer as Ipswich are skint. The perils of the drop! Anyway, he may come back for Gezza. Lets hope so, as it will release some wages for Moyesy to play with. We'll be lucky to get £250,000 for him. Or Moyesy could use him to get one of Joe's players. (16/05/03)

Even though he is back to fitness, Gezza knows his days are numbered here at Everton.

Gezza says: “The injury couldn’t have happened at a worse time. It was going well at Ipswich. I was going to sign for another month, but you can’t tell when these are going to happen. You just have to deal with it. To be truthful, I think Richard is the automatic choice, so maybe it’s the time to start looking elsewhere, but we’ll see what happens. I’ve got another year left on my contract after this season. All I can do is train hard and see what happens." (26/01/03)

Gezzer looks as though he'll be going back to Ipswich at the end of the season.

With the signing of Richard Wright, Gezzer could be the goalie to leave. Everton need the Cadburys to finance other deals. Don't be surprised to see Gezzer used to prise Jason Koumas away from Tranmere. (29/07/02)

Blue Kipper says:

4. Niclas Alexandersson

West Brom are rumoured to be interested in Saint Nic, but only as a swap for Koumas. They are skint, can't afford Jason's wages, & we want rid of Alexandersson. Wait & see. (23/05/03)

With the season just ending, Alexandersson should be on his way. He must be the biggest disappointment of all the signings over the last couple of seasons. When he played in Joe Parkinson's Testimonial, most Evertonians thought we had a top player. How wrong we were. (19/05/03)

Baggies boss, former blue, Gary Megson has spoken on his West Brom website, saying: " We don't even play with wingers. I haven't made an enquirey." Shame, & it looked so promising. (11/07/02)

Talk over the weekend was that West Brom & another un-named Premier Club are keen to take Saint Nic away from Goodison. The Baggies are said to be offering £2m. After his good World Cup, if he does go we should be looking for more than that. This could release more cash for new players. (08/07/02)

Very few will be sorry to see the back of St. Nic, he has been the biggest let down since Slaven Bilic! Came with a reputation and failed to live up to it, despite turning it on for his National side. It will be good riddance to the disappointing Swede, he had the boots and the bleach blonde Becks hairdo but as they say 'all the gear, no idea'. Today it seems that he could now be the first to be shown the door by Moyesy.(20/05/03)

3. Scot Gemmill

Scot has give his all in the few games he started this season, but again he has failed to produce the goods. He looks like staying another season in the reserves on a decent contract, unless Moyesy can persuade him to go elsewhere. (20/05/03)

This rumour of Scot ending up at Preston seems to sound just about right. He has done ok for us over 3 years, but David Moyes must recognize we need something better in the middle of the park. He could a good job for Preston, especially for Craig Brown now the manager at the North End club

David Moyes could use Scot to get one of his former players in exchange. We wait and see.(10/05/02)

Blue Kipper says:

Scot

2. Thomas Gravesen

Has time run out for Tommy? Moyesy, with just a limited budget to spend on new players, could be forced to sell one of his players who could rake in some money, & Tommy fits the bill. He is widely respected throughout Europe, with his consistent star displays for Denmark, where he seems to come alive, scoring goals, & getting man the match awards. Spurs, Villa, & Blackburn are all rumoured to be interested in him. Those clubs could also do a swap deal. Spurs with Matthew Etherington, Villa with Lee Hendry, & Blackburn with David Dunn. If he went for cash, we would expect to get around £4m to £6m. (25/05/03)

Tommy Grav, The Gravedigger, The Headless Chicken, The Schoolboy, & Psycho.
Just some of the names we've heard him been called by the fans. They all describe different traits of his ability as a footballer. The only problem is we never know how he's going to play. On Saturday against Shrewsbury, we saw a bit of the headless chicken, & lots of the schoolboy. He couldn't pass the ball to a white shirt. He gave stupid fouls away, including the one which led to their 1st goal. Then it was the run around chasing the ball where ever it goes. This time a cross between the schoolboy & the headless chicken.

When asked why he had brought Tommy off at half - time, Moyesy said: "I brought Thomas off because he wasn't good enough." Straight talking from the boss,as always. I bet the air was blue as well.

Yet in the early part of the season, Tommy was one of our better players. In a purple patch he got The Blue Kipper Star man nominations for his displays against Fulham & Arsenal. Even Mickey Blue Eyes, one of Tommy's sternest critic made him man of the match. His crowd waving antics are not appreciated by all, but when he gets the ball & drives forward, & puts the ball through for the forwards, he's an awesome sight. We just want him to play like this more often. (06/01/03)

After paper talk again linking Mad Dog with Aston Villa, David Moyes has said that Mad Dog is going nowhere. He said:"I have said before that everybody who is at Everton is staying at Everton. I have been impressed with Tommy Gravesen ever since I came here. And I was very impressed with his performances in the World Cup. I have spoken to him since and I have a very good relationship with him.

"I also have a very good relationship with Graham Taylor and if he was going to make an offer or even considering one I would have thought he would speak to me first - and I can say, hand on heart, that hasn't happened." (01/07/02)

Moyesy & Tommy are bezzie mates. So all this talk of a row is bollocks.
Moyesy says: "I have a great relationship with Thomas. It is nonsense to say we have had a bust-up. Stories that he could be leaving here are just wild speculation." (21/05/02)

We are hearing that there has been a bit of a disagreement between Mad Dog and David Moyes. Apparently Moyesy asked Thomas to play in the last game against the Arse. But Tombo wanted to join the Danish team for a pre World Cup meeting, which he did. If this rumour is true lets hope that Thomas has a great World Cup and we can get £8M for him.(19/05/02)

Tommy seems to be enjoying his Everton Life under the control of David Moyes. So it was very interesting to hear a statement from the club that Tommy is " Not for sale" Michael Dunford said: "We have had no contact from Empoli nor would we encourage any interest in Thomas." (04/05/02)

After a quick pint in the Winslow to drown our sorrows after the Ipswich game, Lard & Kipper walked past the Park End.This is their story "As we turned the corner, we literally bumped into this fella. 'Sorry mate', we said. We looked up & it was a fit looking Tommy Gravesen. Before any of you get any funny ideas. When we say fit. We mean he wasn't limping with an ankle injury.

Lard says: " So are you fit, Tommy?"
Tommy says: "Yes, I made myself available for today's game."
Kipper says: "I thought you wanted to leave?"

Tommy says: "Who said that? Don't believe that shit."

He then stormed off to his car. He wasn't happy. So there you have it. Straight from the horse's mouth. He doesn't want to leave. This leaves lots of questions unanswered. Has he been misquoted? Is this an excuse to get rid of Everton's best player this season, because he is a nark in the camp? It seems to us, he's going no matter what. (04/02/02)

With the signing of Toby in the bag and also with Lee Carsley on his to Goodison it seems certain that Mad Dog has kicked his last ball for the Toffees. We can expect him to go before the end of the season. He could even go on loan for the rest of the season.(02/02/02)

This is like a fuckin' soap opera. We are now hearing that Danish coach Morten Olsen is going to try and find Mad Dog a club with all the connections he has got in Europe. He has played and coached in Germany, Holland and Belgium. Clubs like Cologne, Ajax and Anderlecht .

If that's the case I'm sure I can help Tommy find a club. Because I've played in alot of clubs.Try the Grafton. Now Fuck Off.(18/01/02)

There was another twist in the Mad Dog affair. Walter hopes that he stays. We think he should as well, at least until the end of the season. Then he can go home and have one of his Mum's Sunday roasts.

Walter said: "He's got an injury just now that's kept him out of the last three or four games so we'll have to wait and see.
"The lad has indicated to us that he is homesick so if someone is saying he has played his last game they obviously have information that he's going to be transferred somewhere or is going somewhere. But we have no indication of that at the moment, so when he has recovered from injury we'll obviously be able to decide exactly what he's going to do."
"We'd be very disappointed to see him leave but again that would not be of our doing if a player is homesick.
"Obviously we would try to help him out of his predicament." (15/01/02)

If Tommy doesn't get his act together he could miss the World Cup Finals. Danish coach Morten Olsen wants a settled squad and made this statement:"February 1st is the cut-off point and after that I won't consider any players who are experiencing problems with their clubs." Watch this space. (08/01/02)

John Sivebaek, Mad Dog's agent, is wanting some questions answered on Gravesen's future. He wants to speak to Walter asap. Sivebaek said: "We will meet up with Walter to clear things out. It has a very high priority and therefore I am ready to take off at short notice. Right now, it is completely impossible to know which direction things are heading." Sivebaek wants 3 three questions answered: "What's Everton`s plans?"

"Are HSV really truly interested and if that`s the case, what's the price for Thomas?"
"In case other clubs are interested, is Thomas interested in them?" Ask yer Tart!. (07/01/02)

1. The Invisible Man

Don't hold your breath, The Invisible Man is reportedly back at Bellefield but we are unsure if this is just a viscious rumour or not because no one has seen him yet. Now before we become a fuckin laughing stock here, someone needs to take the bull, or the Invisible Man (notice how polite we are!) by the horns and get this sorted. Because we've gone from having the return of and International midfielder on a free transfer to sending Ghana's equivolent of Mark Thatcher to China to find a club!
We have total confidence in Moyesy to sort this one, but it needs doing quicker than an Everton transfer or the press will have a field day.
Oi, Alex, No, Buck up or ship out, you are taking us for a ride - play up or fuck off! (27/08/03)

The invisible man still can't find a club. If he doesn't get one by 30th June, he'll return to us for pre-season training & we start paying his £10,000 a week wages, which is currently being paid by Paris St Germain. The club he walked out on over a month ago. Confused? you will be. Chief Executive Michael Dunford says: "Unless any interest in him materialises between now and then, we fully expect Alex Nyarko to return to Bellefield in July. We have had one or two tentative enquiries about him, but nothing serious." (07/05/03)

What a PRICK. This fella is coming out with some shite. He saying we didn't rate him because he was married to a white woman. It wouldn't bother us if he was married to Mark Lawrenson, as long as he could play footy. The reason we didn't rate him was that he was crap.

This is what the knobhead had to say:"People simply were against me and my family.I was just considered as the 'Black guy who was married to a white woman'."

"It was my fault, I just did not make the right choice. I was in Lens and I left too fast. In England I experienced the worst time of my life.

"I love human beings and I put up with it without complaining, I did not want to hurt anyone. I kept everything inside me and one day it had to come out."

Alex, go and throw shit at yourself. (29/06/02)

Nyarko wants everyone to know how grateful he is to Everton. He said:: "I would like to thank David Moyes and Bill Kenwright for letting me return to France. My wife and family found it difficult to settle in England and it will be good to go back to France." (22/06/02)

It looks good. He is afterall on his way to Paris St Germain. He will go on loan until Jan for £300.000. Then an extra £2.7m once the transfer window reopens's in France. I wonder if there is going a collection for him, in our place they always have one when someone leaves.

Michael Dunford said: "We have today agreed that Alex Nyarko will join Paris St Germain initially on-loan, the club having agreed a permanent transfer fee of £3 million if they wish to make the deal permanent." It's just that phrase "...if they wish..." Dunford's really put his foot down, there hasn't he? Only a couple of days ago, he said there was no way he was going on loan. What's the difference. (19/06/02)

This is starting to drag on and is getting to be a bit of a worry. Monaco fobbed him off and now Everton have fobbed Paris St Germain off. PSG wanted to take the shirty one on loan for a season but we have said your not on.
Bobby Spokesman had this to say:"We have received a request on behalf of Paris St Germain to see if we were interested in allowing Alex Nyarko to go out on-loan.However that request has been rejected." If nobody comes in for him he is to report for duty on 1st July. (17/06/02)

Oh deary me. The 14 days are up and Monaco have not been in touch with us. This means that our old friend is available to anyone. If there are no takers he is to reoprt back to Bellfield for pre-season training. Don't forget to bring your own training bib with you yer prick.

Our chief exec Michael Dunfordsaid:“There has been no contact from France and other clubs are now free to express an interest in Alex should they so wish.

"At present there have been no takers and as things stand at the moment Alex will be reporting back here for pre-season training with the rest of the first team squad.”(16/05/02)

We may have seen the last of the Invisible Man. He seems certain to be on his way to Monaco. They have the first shout on his availability.

Michael Dunford gave this update: "We had preliminary discussions with Monaco back in January. They now have an exclusive 14-day period if they wish to pursue a permanent deal but as yet we have not had any contact from them."
Moaco coach Didier Deschamps said: "We see Alex as a vital player for us in the seasons to come and he has done well to set aside the traumatic incidents at Everton. He is a true and talented professional." (02/05/02)

It has been along time since we have spoke about Alex Nyarko. The man who done one could be returning. It looks like Monaco may not be able to afford the £4m we want. Thet didn't qualify for Europe

So what are we going to do with him? Rumours that Rangers may step in. The sooner the better.(25/04/02)

MONACO are keen to make Alex Nyarko's loan move permanent. Didier Deschamps, manager at Monaco has liked what the Invisible man has to offer. He may not get all his own way, as Paris St Germain and Serie A side Parma have monitored his form, & this may help bump up his price. No pun intended, Pricey!. Everton have said they want to recoup as much of the £4.5m they spent to bring him to Goodison from Lens.Where ever he goes it will mean we will finally see the back of him, & more cash for Walter to strengthen the team. (20/01/02)

Click here for the FULL Nyarko story, & what the fans think.

Everton are hoping they never see this man again. It looks as though the proposed loan move to Monaco is back on.This will be for an agreed period of time with a view to a permanent £3.5m transfer. Lets hope so. (15/08/01)

The invisible man is set to to return to Goodison Park within days to resume training after a proposed loan move to Monaco collapsed.
Walter Smith wants to get rid of him permanently, but there have been few enquiries since he was placed on the transfer list .

Everton Chief Executive Michael Dunford had this to say "The proposed loan move to Monaco has not materialised and Alex Nyarko will return to training at Everton this weekend." (26/07/01)

So, Shandypants is rumoured to be on the off, well good riddance, how many players who have donned our colours can we say that we are glad to see the back of, you can count them on one - piano. This fellow takes the black shirt! Apparently he may be going to Lens, he's waiting to contact Lens! Don't they play with a yellow streak down their kit? Suit's you Sir. Invisible, you will be welcomed with open arms if they can find you!! (22/06/01)
