During
the close season, we will be monitoring rumours about players who are
leaving or signing for Everton. We will be giving kippers out of 5.
The more kippers the more likely we think the transfer will happen.
If there are rumours you have heard let Blue Kipper know. info@bluekipper.com

Duncan Ferguson
Duncan
is unlikely to leave the Toffeemen.
Moyesy
says: "We're not keen on letting anybody go. We've
let too many go to be able to allow any other people to go out.
We're looking to add rather than let go."(20/08/04)
Ex
Everton old boy and current Wolves manager Dave Jones is believed
to be in the hunt for Big Dunc. Wolves who have an injury crisis
are said to be in the hunt for a new striker, with the big Scotsman
heading his list. The only stumbling block may be the strikers
wage, which is currently half a million pounds a week.

Carsley
Everton
and Ireland midfielder Lee Carsley could be on his way out of
Goodison, and Leicester bound. Carsley who was signed from Coventry
several seasons ago, is said to be keen on a return to the Midlands,
and the Foxes may be the ideal team to sign him. With Moyesy
acquisition of Tim Cahill now sealed, it gives him a bit more
lea way in bringing in fresh faces.
Foxes
Boss Mickey Adams says: "We have brought in seven
players so far but the squad is not complete yet. We have still
got areas that I feel need strengthening and I will do that
in the next week or so." (24/07/04)

Kevin Campbell
Our
spy down under has news on Super Kev. Terry Venables has agreed
to coach Australian team Newcastle if they are successful in
gaining entry to the newly formed Australian 'Premier' league.
Campbell is in El Tel's sights as he has shit loads of experience
can easily fit into the typical Aussie style of Kick and rush,
being a tall target, and being past his prime, will not be 'expensive
to acquire'.
If
he goes it will ease the burden on the wages budget. Doubtful
that he would want to uproot his family to go to the other side
of the world for a season, especially as he is now the new Pete
Waterman. (16/07/04)

Tobias Linderoth
Tobias
Linderoth today officially ended his two and a half year tenure
with the Blues. He signed today for Danish side Copenhagen.
Gutted is the word we use, as who is now going to control our
midfield, marshalling the troops from start to finish. The tough
tackling Swede was an integral cog in the Everton machine, who
scored one goal in forty six starts for the lads. That says
it all. Ta Ta, like the other rat leaving the ship, we wish
you no luck whatsoever, now that you have took us for a lot
of money and pissed off. (30/07/04)
Toby
will be a FC Copenhagen player within the next 24 hours. FC
Copenhagen are to have a press conference tomorrow to present
their new player. The cadbury's is £1.5m.
David
Moyes says:"We are close to agreeing a deal and
it is being sorted out back at Goodison." (28/07/04)
Toby
could be history. He is not on the plane to the States suggesting
a move to Copenhagen is on the cards. (23/07/04)
Toby
is flattered to have been mentioned as a transfer target for
FC Copenhagen.
Toby
says: "It's certainly one
of the best clubs in Scandinavia. I know (coach) Hans Backe.
It is a very interesting club. My focus is on Everton. It is
my club for the coming two years. If nothing happens, I will
stay here." (08/07/04)

Leon Osman
If
chubby Joe Kinnear has been in touch with Everton, David Moyes
doesn't know anything about it.
Moyesy
says:"I have been given no information of any offer from
Nottingham Forest and even if I had, he is not for sale and certainly
not at that price."(07/07/04)
Not
content with taking Paul Gerrard on a free, Notts Forest boss
Joe Kinnear, has come back to Goodison enquiring about Leon Osman.
A fee of £400,000 is being touted around for the talented
player. With a fee involved Moyesy may find it hard not to sell
Leon on, after farming out to Derby on loan last season. Everton
are considering the offer, as it will cover two weeks of Waynes
wages.
Joe
Kinnear says : "Leon's one of a number of players
I've enquired about and I'm awaiting an answer from Everton. The
chairman's going to have to get his hand in his pocket because
as well as a midfielder I'd like to sign a defender and a striker.
I think we're quite close but even if it happens before we fly
out on tour, I'll have them flown out afterwards to join us."

Jamie Mc Fadden
Faddy
has rubbished the Rangers rumour again.
Faddy
says:"I joined last season after pre-season had
taken place and it was easy for me and the manager to say I
needed time to adapt to life in the Premiership and English
football.
"I
was aware of the speculation, reading it in the papers, but
I haven't been here a year yet. Hopefully I've got a long time
yet to prove myself in the Premiership before I go running back
up the road."(20/08/04)
Rumours
circulating around Glasgow of late, is that Rangers are to make
an audacious Summer bid, for up and coming superstar Jimmy Mac.
After his fantastic solo goal for his homeland the other night,
Rangers boss Alex McLeish is said to be ready to pounce for
Faddy, on the premise of offering him first team football. If
the rumours are true, Moyesy may have to fight hard, to convince
our board, not to cash in on young Jamie.
A
Rangers Source says : "Alex has been an admirer
of McFadden for some time in fact he went on record last year
to say just how highly he rates him. He is obviously aware that
the player has fallen out of the first-team picture and has
not found it easy to adjust to life in the Premiership. But
Wednesday night's performance proved the lad still has what
it takes. If his situation at Everton does not change in the
coming weeks then obviously there could be a chance for us to
do business. But that will also depend on which players leave
Ibrox in the summer and how much money is raised.Let's just
say at this stage that McFadden is certainly a name that is
interesting us." (03/04/04)

Joey Yobo
Bad
news could be in store for us all, with rumours doing the rounds
that Sir Bobby of the North East, could be planning a swoop on our
Joey. Armed with £13.4m, from the sale of his centre half
Johnathan Woodgate to Madrid, he is down one player, but has some
real cash to spend. Sensing our need for cash, the Newcastle manager
is said to be preparing a swoop for the Nigerian International.
Lets hope our Russian savour, can fight him off with the mighty
rouble. (23/08/04)
Rumours
circulating today, is that Alex Ferguson is preparing a Summer swoop,
for our very own Joey Yobo. Joey who is on his way back to Blighty
after Nigeria's semi final defeat in the African Nations Tournament,
has impressed Sir Alex on many occasions. With United leaking goals
at an alarming rate of late, Joey would be seen as a good catch,
considering his young age. Moyesy I am led to believe though, would
not be tempted unless offers in the region of £10 million
are quoted.(12/02/04)

David Unsworth
David
Unsworth today completed his move to Portsmouth, ending his twelve
year association with the Blues. Unsey who rejected a deal at
Everton has signed a three year deal at Pompey, were he will be
reunited with one of his old managers Harry Redknapp. Unsey has
made over three hundred appearances for the Blues, with the highlight
of his time being the Cup success of 1995. Many of us who questioned
his ability, cannot deny that he was a Evertonian through and
through, and Bluekipper.com send their best wishes to Unsey .
Unsey
says: "Harry and I have always got on well. I came
down on Friday and the decision was immediate, it wasn't a problem.
Leaving
Everton at any stage is regretful. I'll always be an Evertonian.
It was time to move on. I didn't get what I wanted so I had to
move on. When I knew Portsmouth were interested I thought I'd
give it a go." (12/07/04)
After
the cock up with Bolton Unsy has signed for Portsmouth.(10/07/04)
A
deal is close for Unsy.
Bolton Boss Sam says: “Talks are progressing
very well with David and we hope to reach an agreement soon.”
(14/05/04)
Well
it looks as though we got it right (see below). Unsy's agent has
confirmed that talks have been held with Bolton.
Hayden
Evans says: "We are currently in talks with Bolton
and are hopeful of something being sorted out. He was offered
two years plus the option of another year at Everton but he has
turned that down. It was nothing to do with money, just that there
was no guarantee of a third year at Everton, which David wants."(11/05/04)
**Exclusive**
David
Unsworth will be a Bolton player next season. We have heard it
from a very reliable source that Unsy will reject the 2 year deal
and sign for big Sam over the next couple of weeks. Don't forget
you heard it here first. (08/05/04)
Glasgow
Rangers are another club to show an interest in Unsey. Apparently,
Rangers have watched Unsworth, four times in the past two months.
Rangers are short of defenders with Henning Berg, Frank de Boer
& Craig Moore all missing from next season. Unsworth
still hopes Everton will offer him a new deal this summer, after
he rejected outright an initial one- year extension. (21/04/04)
Bolton
Boss Sam Allardyce is monitoring the David Unsworth contract situation,
and he maybe poised to make a move if Unsey does not secure the
contract he wants.
Big
Sam says: "Somebody with his experience would be
very good for a club like ours. Anybody who has played Premiership
football and is available would interest me if they fell within
our wage structure and would be happy with the length of contract
we would be prepared to offer." (06/03/04)
Unsey
wanted a 2 year contract. Everton offered 1 year. Stalemate! Blackburn
& Leeds are monitoring the situation. But with Rhino playing
some great footy in the heart of the defence, Everton may compromise.
But as Dunford says he's not a magastar. (01/01/04)

Wayne Rooney!!
Wayne
Rooney has signed a six year deal, worth potentially £29.5m
to Everton over the duration of his deal. In a complicated package,
Everton will receive£10m up front, £10m next August,
and the rest of the cash is based on his appearances, and United's
progress in the European Competitions. Everton are definitely
guaranteed£23m. Blue Bill has also negotiated a 25% on any
future sell on whilst he is at United. So if he is sold on in
6 years time for £35m, we get 25% of £5m. The richest
club in the world have pissed all over Everton.
In
scenes to stick in any Blues throats, Rooney was mobbed as he
left Man Ure, after taking a tour around the Stadium, with his
agent Sid The Snake. On the cheap is what Man Ure have got our
wonder kid for. We all knew it would be a staggered payment, so
really financially we are still no further down the road, but
one world class player less in our squad. (31/08/04)
Its
Official, Rooney is now at this very moment having his medical
at Carrington (United's Training Ground). Rooney was chauffeured
through the gates this morning to have his once over by the United
doctors. The snag yesterday was over the £25m, and how it
was going to be paid to The Blues. It is believed to be staggered
payments, of which I am sure we will not find out how much up
front. Let's hope the cheque clears in time, so we can get a few
faces in by five tonight. (31/08/04)
United
have upped the bid to £25m for Wayne. So we are waiting
to see if that will be enough to see the deal go through. Alex
Ferguson thinks it will be touch and go.
Meanwhile
Wayne is not too pleased the way the tranfer request has been
handled by Everton. What is the truth?? We need to know.
Rooney
says:"I am absolutely gutted at what is happening
here. It is clear that it's time for me to leave Everton. I am
disappointed at some of the things that have been said by Everton,
especially considering that I know the truth. All clubs sell players,
even Manchester United and Arsenal."
Ferguson
says:"It is unlikely anything will be concluded
before Monday. I definitely think it is unlikely. Everton are
obviously going to try to get as much as they can out of it, we
have got a price and we will not be going above that. Monday is
a Bank Holiday so medicals are going to be difficult but you have
a full day to do that. There is a 12 o'clock deadline on Tuesday
so really you have got a whole day to get the medical done. (29/08/04)
Wayne
Rooney has handed in a transfer request at Everton. Well Wayne
has finally opened his mouth and what he has said makes me sick.
We all probably knew it was coming, but we still don't like it
when it comes. You can say it any way you want to Wayne but the
top and bottom of it you don't want to play for Everton. The sooner
he goes the better. Thanx for everything Wayne.
Rooney
says: "This has been one of the hardest decisions
of my life but I feel the time is now right for me to move forward
with my career. The Euros were a fantastic experience for me,
it made me realise I could play at the highest level.
"To
do that, I need to be with a club that is playing in Europe every
year. I hope the Everton fans can come to understand my decision
and I hope the transfer fee Everton Football Club receive will
help the club move forward.
"The
Everton fans have always been fantastic in their support of me.
I hope they respect my decision and I also hope that, some day
in the future, I could be welcomed back to watch the team I have
supported since boyhood." (27/08/04)
In
a day of extraordinary reports surrounding Wayne Rooney and his
agent, Bill Kenwright, the Chairman of Everton Football Club says:
"I don't know if he will be at Everton next week." Well
if he doesn't know who does?
The
reports say, Wayne has been smuggled into Bellefield in the boot
of a car driven by Alan Stubbs with Duncan Ferguson as a passenger.
Fans have been in touch with us to say Rooney was seen running
(we thought he was injured) from a transit van into the waiting
Merc driven by his agent at a service station on the M62. Reports
from Bellefield say that Rooney had a bust up with Moyesy.
Kenwright,
ever the actor will tell The Duke: "Please don't go"
(26/08/04)
Manure's
£20m bid has been rejected.(26/08/04)
What
a surprise, Manure boss Alex Ferguson has confirmed they have
made a £20m bid. He says: "We have made an offer. We
haven't had a response from Everton though." So much for
there being no conspiracy theory between Manure, Stretford &
the barcodes. (25/08/04)
Moysey
is pissed off with Newcastle and who wouldn't be. Just because
they have a few bob to spend they think The Duke will go to them.
We don't think so! Who would go to a team, who last won the league
in 1927? Me 'arl Fella can't even remember that far back.
Moyesy
says: "I can confirm that Newcastle did make an
offer. They said that the offer is still on the table, well it’s
not on my table because we don’t want it there and it’s certainly
not enough. Bobby Robson is quoted as saying that Wayne’s the
most exciting young centre forward there is around. If that’s
the case then he’s going to have to pay the most exciting price
for him. Didier Drogba has gone to Chelsea for £24 million,
so if he wants to be in the market then he’s going to have to
pay far greater than that price. He is English and if you want
to buy English you have to pay a higher premium."
Mad
Hatter Sir Bobby Robson has suggested that Man U are out of the
Rooney auction. If nobody else is going to bid you can't tell
me that Wayne will end up at Newcastle. Who the fuck are they?
Bobby
says: "Manchester United can't buy Rooney. The most
famous and richest club in the country can't buy him. I know Alex
Ferguson would love him, so why don't they make an offer for him.
"You're
talking about buying the most exciting, brilliant young player
in Europe and you can't blame me for trying to bring him in. Whether
he'll come, we don't know."(25/08/04)
Arsene
Wenger has ruled Arsenal out of any Rooney bid.
Arsene says: "I like the player. But Newcastle
have just made a lot of money so I am not surprised they are linked
with him. At that level, we cannot be involved in it and, when
you see Everton reject a bid of £20 million, I say:'Okay,
we are not in there'."(24/08/04)
Newcastle
are not too happy with The Times after a report suggested the
barcodes could
be involved in a conspiracy to help Wayne Rooney move from to
Manchester United.
Statement
from Newcastle says: "Newcastle United vehemently
denies the allegations made in today's Times that it has been
involved in a conspiracy with Manchester United and/or Proactive
Sports Group about a potential sale of Wayne Rooney by Everton.
Those allegations are offensive and absurd. The suggestion that
Newcastle United would be helping one of its main competitors
secure one of the most talented players in Europe is bizarre.
The club has already confirmed its interest in Rooney and the
club has been working on the bid for a number of weeks. He would
be a tremendous asset to the club." (24/08/04)
Everton
have rejected the £20m bid from Newcastle.
Ian
Ross says: "I can confirm that we have received
a £20m offer for Wayne Rooney from Newcastle United. This
bid has been turned down."(23/08/04)
Newcastle
have confirmed that they have made a £20m bid for The Duke.
Everton have not said anything yet. Moyesy has said in the past
that he doesn't want to sell him. We hope Everton say: 'Shove
yer cash up yer Toon arses' (23/08/04)
Chelsea
have confirmed they are not in for Wayne but Real Madrid say they
have the money if the manager wants him. In the meantime Wayne
has been offered the biggest offer in Everton's history.
New
handsome Chelsea boss Mourinho says "I love Rooney.
His personality is amazing. When a kid of 18 plays like he did,
it is absolutely amazing. But it is not just too much money, I
think we have other priorities in terms of players and positions.
Rooney is a wonderful attacking player, but he is not a pure striker,
a target man. He plays with free movement just behind on both
sides, we have other players with these qualities."
Real
Madrid chappie “We can find the money to sign Rooney.
If (José Antonio) Camacho (the coach) wants him, I don’t
expect any kind of problems to try to negotiate to sign him.”
(06/07/04)
Chelsea's
gobby Chief Exec Peter Kenyon, has confirmed his clubs interest
in OUR WONDERKID Wayne Rooney. Kenyon who is
loved throughout the game, with the dignified way, that he dealt
with ex Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri has said that he would love
The Duke and the shite's Steven Gerrard to join him at Chelsea.
Likeable
Kenyon says: "Wayne Rooney's been the talk of the
tournament. He's been incredible, particularly coming off a fairly
average season. But there's so much speculation, and if we started
reacting to all the speculation we would literally do nothing
else." (23/06/04)
David
Moyes is not too happy with Sven. The Sweede has made idiotic
remarks such as " If I was a club manager I would ring his
agent. If you think about clubs that would want him, I'm sure
the queue is very long." Well Moyesy has had a go at Sven
basically telling him to mind his own business.
Moyesy
says:"I'm disappointed with one or two comments
from the England manager. I expect the manager to know it's illegal
to do that because he is a player who is under contract. Secondly,
I think it's the last thing we'd want and if he was Everton manager
I think he would not want to be sitting in this position and have
an international manager say that about one of his players."
"One
of the remits I said when I came to the club was that we don't
sell our best players. We are not in the business of selling.
I think if someone came in with that money (£50 million),
everyone in the country would be saying you'd be right to take
it because I think that's a big offer but, as far as I'm concerned,
we've not had any offers - I do know we have not had any offers
from anybody. So it's just speculation again and seems everyone
else wants to talk about it as if there's nothing else to talk
about except Wayne Rooney."(21/07/04)
Even
at £50m Everton will not sell Wayne. Now that is what we
wanted to hear from Blue Bill, Trickey Trev and David Moyes. Also
David Beckham has told the Wonder Boy to go where you will be
happiest and if thats Everton, so be it. Thanx Becks.
Bill
says:"David Moyes and I agreed Wayne has to be a
£50million player now. I would turn down any bid for him
and say: 'Thank you very much. What else do you want to talk about?'"
"We do smile about what Wayne is worth but, then again, we
also talk about who's going to be alongside him with us next season. We
know what Wayne's value is and our price is that he is an Everton
player and we have no reason to believe that will change. I am
not here to sell my best players and Wayne wants to stay. Wayne
will continue at Everton."
"As for a £50m bid for him, well, there's only one
person who will ever make that kind of decision. Not Bill Kenwright,
not the Everton board, but the Everton manager. There have been
no bids for Wayne, absolutely not. No approach from Chelsea, nor
Manchester United. I have heard talk of Manchester United having
a done deal. But I have had no contact whatsoever with United,
and you would think they would ring, wouldn't you?"
Birchey says: "You don't sell your best
players. Ask any chief executive or manager and they will tell
you the same thing. If someone is saying they will pay £100m,
then of course you are going to think about it, but we're not
in that position. It is complete speculation."
Moyesy says: ""I don't see anyone from
Wayne's side, or anyone from Everton's side, saying anything about
him being transferred. Yet there is endless speculation. Everton
have been going through hard times and my aim is to improve them
with Wayne Rooney's help."
Beck's
says: "I think it's sensible for Wayne to stay where
he's happy. If that's at Everton, then so be it. He's only 18
and as long as he's at a club that will look after him, that's
what he should do.(20/06/04)

Moyesy

5.
Tomasz Radzinski
Everton
have accepted Fulham's bid of £1.75m. We don't think we'll
see this little fella again. No doubt he'll have a hamstring injury
when we play Fulham.
It
is belived that Fulham have increased their latest offer to around
£1.5m. Moyesy must decide to accept the money or not.
(21/07/04)
The
Rad pulled out of the friendly at Crewe with a hamstring problem.
Yes sure yer did. (20/07/04)
After
firing off his salvo in the press, slagging off every man and
his dog, Radzinski still may not get the move he is craving. Sources
tell us that the Blues knocked back Fulhams enhanced bid of £1.3m
yesterday for the Canadian turd bag. Never mind you little shite,
the Rezzie trips to Whitley Bay, Accrington and alike will be
a real eye opener for you. (15/07/04)
The
Rad looks to be out of here. He has rejected a new 3 year deal.
Moyesy
says: "Tomasz Radzinski requested a three-year contract.
We offered a three-year contract but he has now rejected that
offer." (08/07/04)
The
Rad has put in a written transfer request. The man who needs 10
chances to score one goal believes a one year extension to his
contract is not long enough. Moyesy has said in the past if you
don't want to play for Everton your history. Fulham look favorites
for his signature.
Everton
man Ian Ross says:"I can confirm that this morning
we have received a written transfer request from Tomasz Radzinski.
David Moyes will consider the matter later this week."
Rad
says: "The contract offered by Everton was only
for a one-year extension, which would have left me standing in
the same spot next season." (14/06/04)
David
Moyes is determined the two Tommy's will be at Goodison next season.
Moyesy
says:"They're both under contract. We like them both, and
we've no intentions at this present time of selling them. We're
looking to bring players in to this club, not sell two of our
recognised first-team regulars."(09/06/04)
10
days ago, Everton offered The Rad a new 2 year extension on his
contract. Since then nothing from the Club or Tommy. Only a £900,000
bid from Fulham. This was rejected. Sources at Fulham say they
think The Rad will go to the smoke. (25/05/04)
Things
don't seem right on The Rad front. Why hasn't he signed the new
contract? Is he waiting for someone to come in for him? Well he
may have his wish. It has been rumoured that the Toffeemen have
rejected a bid from Fulham, but David Moyes would be happy to
keep him even if he doesn't sign his contract.
Moyesy
says: "We've offered Tomasz a two-year contract
and if worst comes to worst Tomasz still has a year to run on
his contract. We're
happy to let than run if that's the case. We're trying to do thing
to do things correctly and give players proper terms. It's important
not to keep people at the club too long and giving them money
that might not be good for us in a couple of years."(14/05/04)
The
Rad could be set to
sign a new deal with Everton. (21/04/04)
Fans
won't be happy with the news that The Rad may be sacrificed for
cash, so that Moyesy can continue his team building for next season.
Everton could get £10m for him, if one of the Champions
League teams comes in for him. Tommy was probably most fans player
of the season. His goals alone kept us fighting for Europe up
until the death. He was a completely different player under Moyes.
Although he hasn't got a tackle in him to save his life, he challenged
& chased like a man possessed. He certainly wasn't the player
Walter bought. The fans loved him.
On
the other hand, Tommy was honest enough to say, he joined Everton
for the money. He left Anderlecht, who were in the Champions League
to come to Goodison. Having played in Poland, Canada, & Belgium,
it won't be a wrench to go elsewhere. Although Tommy scored some
great goals last season, he also missed plenty. Some sitters as
well. The other thing was that Tommy wasn't happy being substituted
every time a certain Wayne Rooney was on the bench. It was also
apparent to some people, that Tommy never made himself available
for the last few games, even though at a push he could have. He
won't be happy when The Duke comes back, as England's new centre
forward, raring to go & physically stronger. Tommy will start
the season on the bench. Great for the fans, but will Tommy accept
it. With £10m, Moyesy could afford to get a young striker
as back-up for Rooney, & have enough to buy two or three midfielder's.
Just a thought, but it could happen. (25/05/03)

Paul Gerrard
Gezza
has joined Notts Forset. (05/07/04)
Bye
Bye Gezza. He's out of contract on 1st June 2004. Everton will
not be renewing his contact. (17/05/04)
Forest
manager, Joe Kinear wants to take Gezza on a permanent deal. (11/05/04)
Joe,
Joe, Joe, Joe Royle has just let his top goalie, Andy Marshall
go on a free transfer as Ipswich are skint. The perils of the
drop! Anyway, he may come back for Gezza. Lets hope so, as it
will release some wages for Moyesy to play with. We'll be lucky
to get £250,000 for him. Or Moyesy could use him to get
one of Joe's players. (16/05/03)
Even
though he is back to fitness, Gezza knows his days are numbered
here at Everton.
Gezza
says: “The injury couldn’t have happened at a worse time.
It was going well at Ipswich. I was going to sign for another
month, but you can’t tell when these are going to happen. You
just have to deal with it. To be truthful, I think Richard is
the automatic choice, so maybe it’s the time to start looking
elsewhere, but we’ll see what happens. I’ve got another year left
on my contract after this season. All I can do is train hard and
see what happens." (26/01/03)
Gezzer
looks as though he'll be going back to Ipswich at the end of the
season.
With
the signing of Richard Wright, Gezzer could be the goalie to leave.
Everton need the Cadbury's to finance other deals. Don't be surprised
to see Gezzer used to prise Jason Koumas away from Tranmere.

Niclas Alexandersson
Bye
Bye Saint Nic. He's already gone home to Sweden. He's out of contract
on 1st June 2004. Everton will not be renewing his contact. (17/05/04)
Nic
wants to go back
home to Sweden. His contract is up in the Summer, so it would
be an advantage if Everton could sort out a club for him.
(01/01/04)
West
Brom are rumoured to be interested in Saint Nic, but only as a
swap for Koumas. They are skint, can't afford Jason's wages, &
we want rid of Alexandersson. Wait & see. (23/05/03)
With
the season just ending, Alexandersson should be on his way. He
must be the biggest disappointment of all the signings over the
last couple of seasons. When he played in Joe Parkinson's Testimonial,
most Evertonians thought we had a top player. How wrong we were.
(19/05/03)
Baggies
boss, former blue, Gary Megson has spoken on his West Brom web
site, saying: " We don't even play with wingers. I haven't
made an enquiry." Shame, & it looked so promising.
(11/07/02)
Talk
over the weekend was that West Brom & another un-named Premier
Club are keen to take Saint Nic away from Goodison. The Baggies
are said to be offering £2m. After his good World Cup, if
he does go we should be looking for more than that. This could
release more cash for new players. (08/07/02)
Very
few will be sorry to see the back of St. Nic, he has been the
biggest let down since Slaven Bilic! Came with a reputation and
failed to live up to it, despite turning it on for his National
side. It will be good riddance to the disappointing Swede, he
had the boots and the bleach blonde Becks hairdo but as they say
'all the gear, no idea'. Today it seems that he could now be the
first to be shown the door by Moyesy.(20/05/03)

Scot Gemmill
Bye
Bye Scot. He's out of contract on 1st June 2004. Everton will
not be renewing his contact. Preston may be interested or he may
try to find a club in Scotland. (17/05/04)
Scot
could be on his way in January Sales. His contract is up in the
Summer & with him having bad injury problems as well as not
starting a game this season, it will ease the wage bill if we
can off load him. (01/01/04)
Scot
has give his all in the few games he started this season, but
again he has failed to produce the goods. He looks like staying
another season in the reserves on a decent contract, unless Moyesy
can persuade him to go elsewhere. (20/05/03)
This
rumour of Scot ending up at Preston seems to sound just about
right. He has done ok for us over 3 years, but David Moyes must
recognize we need something better in the middle of the park.
He could a good job for Preston, especially for Craig Brown now
the manager at the North End club
David
Moyes could use Scot to get one of his former players in exchange.
We wait and see.(10/05/02)

Thomas Gravesen
Maybe
not going. We have had it confirmed that he was seen limping in
the directors box at Old Trafford. Our good authority person has
been sacked.(30/08/04)
Tommy
wasn't in the team today and we have it on good authority that
he is at Villa having a medical. I can't cope with this anymore.
(30/08/04)
Although
Everton have said that Tommy is not for sale, then say it will
cost in excess of £3 million to prise the bald eagle away,
Hamburg's boss Klaus Topmoller still has other idea's. He is insistent
that Tommy is keen to move back to Germany, and is still sure
that he can reach a compromise with the Blues to land the player.
Hamburg
Boss Topmoller says: "I have spoken to the player
and Thomas is keen on a move. He's top of my list of new signings,
although we are of course eyeing different options." (18/08/04)
Hamburg
have pulled out of trying to sign Tommy, thank you.
HSV
Sports Director Dietmar Beiersdorfer says: "The
transfer has fallen through on financial grounds. The Gravesen
package is very expensive and we have limited means. We have other
players on our list and are talking to those players."(13/08/04)
David
Moyes has fobbed Hamburg off with their bid.
Moyesy
says: "They are not even close to bidding enough money."(10/08/04)
Hamburg
have made a bid for Tommy. That's all we need.
Hamburg
director Dietmar Beiersdorfer says:"We have spoken
with the player and the club and have made an offer. We want to
buy Gravesen because we are missing a holding midfield player
and that has the highest priority." (10/08/04)
Not
The shite
Some
knobhead has put a story out that Tommy is going to the shite.
Tommy is am important man for us this season and we don't want
him going anywhere especially the shite.
Moyesy
agrees: "I've heard the rumours and I was aware
a newspaper was going to run with it, but we've had no contact
whatsoever from anyone at Liverpool nor from Thomas's representatives.
I've said all along I don't want to be without Thomas and that
remains the case."(05/08/04)
Staying,
but
Tommy
Grav will be staying at Everton only if the club can convince
him that they are making progress.
David
Moyes says:"I have spoken to Thomas about the situation
and he told me that he wants to see Everton are making progress. But
he also said that if we do that he would have no hesitation in
staying. It means the ball is in our court and we need to make
him think that Everton can compete again." (28/07/04)
Meeting
Tommy
and the boss will have a chance of a chat over the next few days
about his future.
Moyesy
says:"Thomas has said to me he wanted to talk about
his contract after he returned to Everton from Euro 2004. There
seems though to have been an awful lot of people who wanted to
talk about the situation beforehand. But when we get away we'll
will have a chance to chat and see exactly where he is."(23/07/04)
Staying
Tommy
is likely to be staying for at least one more season and that
talk of a move to Celtic is nonsense.
His
agent says: " I've not heard anything from Celtic.
I think he'll stay at Everton one more year.Thomas is coming back
from holiday in the next few days so we'll go and see what's going
on in the near future. It depends on the team and some other things
but I can't really say at the moment. He's very happy at Everton
and he would be happy to stay for one more year. But he has to
go on with his career - he's been there for five years and wants
to see what he can do next." (19/07/04)
Tommy's
agent is getting on everyone's nerves, he is now stating Tommy
will defo be leaving and Hamburg could be the destination.
John
Sivebaek says: "Currently we have no intention to
extend his spell and I believe that Thomas would very much like
to play for Hamburg again. This club will always have a chance
to sign him." (08/07/04)
David
Moyes is not very chuffed with gobshite agent John Sivebaek. He
will not believe anything that is said about Tommy unless it comes
from Tommy himself.
Moyesy
says:"Those quotes were attributed to Thomas Gravesen's
agent - not from Thomas Gravesen himself. They are not Thomas'
words. Thomas has shook hands with me on an agreement, which we've
reached in private. It sounds like an ex-player trying to make
some money out of a current player and it sounds like he's not
offering the best possible advice.
"If
players don't want to play for Everton, then they won't play for
Everton, it's as simple as that. That suits me and if Thomas Gravesen
tells me that himself, I will accept it, but I won't accept that
from someone I don't know." (07/06/04)
Tommy's
agent John Sivebaek has said one way or another Tommy will be
leaving Everton. Either for a fee after Euro 04, or for a free
next season.
The
ex-man ure full back says: "Thomas has no problem
staying another year in Everton, but quite frankly I find it hard
to think he is staying. It would be wise to sell him now and make
some money. That is up to Everton, but we are also speculating
in letting the deal expire next summer. There’s nothing wrong
in saying you want to try something else. Maybe Everton won’t
get the improvements Thomas is looking for, because it is apparently
not easy to get the huge stars to Everton. Hopefully something
will happen around Thomas during the Euro 2004 finals. Everything
will be open if he plays well, but on the other hand everything
can also go wrong.
Thomas
is gambling under pressure, but he can handle that, and the finals
in Portugal could be perfect for him. It could be an economic
good solution to let the deal expire, but that is not our strategy.
It could end like that, but we are not double-crossing Everton,
because Thomas likes the club, and we want to be straight in our
way to do business. I think the club understand that Thomas would
like to try something else.” (07/06/04)
Tommy
has been offered a 2 year extension to his contract, but he wants
to see which new players sign, before he commits himself.
(20/05/04)
Tommy
wants to stay
at Goodison for the rest of his career. Moyesy picks him all
the time. Tommy has played
more games than any other Everton player this season. He is
one of the few players, who we may get some cash for. It looks
like he'll be staying. (01/01/04)
Has
time run out for Tommy? Moyesy, with just a limited budget to
spend on new players, could be forced to sell one of his players
who could rake in some money, & Tommy fits the bill. He is
widely respected throughout Europe, with his consistent star displays
for Denmark, where he seems to come alive, scoring goals, &
getting man the match awards. Spurs, Villa, & Blackburn are
all rumoured to be interested in him. Those clubs could also do
a swap deal. Spurs with Matthew
Etherington, Villa with Lee
Hendry, & Blackburn with David
Dunn. If he went for cash, we would expect to get around £4m
to £6m. (25/05/03)
Tommy
Grav, The Gravedigger, The Headless Chicken, The Schoolboy, &
Psycho.
Just some of the names we've heard him been called
by the fans. They all describe different traits of his ability
as a footballer. The only problem is we never know how he's going
to play. On Saturday against Shrewsbury,
we saw a bit of the headless chicken, & lots of the schoolboy.
He couldn't pass the ball to a white shirt. He gave stupid fouls
away, including the one which led to their 1st goal. Then it was
the run around chasing the ball where ever it goes. This time
a cross between the schoolboy & the headless chicken.
When
asked why he had brought Tommy off at half - time, Moyesy said:
"I brought Thomas off because he wasn't good enough."
Straight talking from the boss,as always. I bet the air was blue
as well.
Yet
in the early part of the season, Tommy was one of our better players.
In a purple patch he got The Blue
Kipper Star man nominations for his displays against Fulham
& Arsenal.
Even Mickey
Blue Eyes, one of Tommy's sternest critic made him man of
the match. His crowd waving antics are not appreciated by all,
but when he gets the ball & drives forward, & puts the
ball through for the forwards, he's an awesome sight. We just
want him to play like this more often. (06/01/03)
After
paper talk again linking Mad Dog with Aston Villa, David Moyes
has said that Mad Dog is going nowhere. He said:"I have said
before that everybody who is at Everton is staying at Everton.
I have been impressed with Tommy Gravesen ever since I came here.
And I was very impressed with his performances in the World Cup.
I have spoken to him since and I have a very good relationship
with him.
"I
also have a very good relationship with Graham Taylor and if he
was going to make an offer or even considering one I would have
thought he would speak to me first - and I can say, hand on heart,
that hasn't happened." (01/07/02)
Moyesy
& Tommy are bezzie mates. So all this talk of a row is bollocks.
Moyesy says: "I have a great relationship with Thomas.
It is nonsense to say we have had a bust-up. Stories that he could
be leaving here are just wild speculation." (21/05/02)
We
are hearing that there has been a bit of a disagreement between
Mad Dog and David Moyes. Apparently Moyesy asked Thomas to play
in the last game against the Arse. But Tombo wanted to join the
Danish team for a pre World Cup meeting, which he did. If this
rumour is true lets hope that Thomas has a great World Cup and
we can get £8M for him.(19/05/02)
Tommy
seems to be enjoying his Everton Life under the control of David
Moyes. So it was very interesting to hear a statement from the
club that Tommy is " Not for sale"
Michael Dunford said: "We have had no contact from Empoli
nor would we encourage any interest in Thomas." (04/05/02)
After
a quick pint in the Winslow to drown our sorrows after the Ipswich
game, Lard & Kipper walked past the Park End.This is their
story "As we turned the corner, we literally bumped into
this fella. 'Sorry mate', we said. We looked up & it was a
fit looking Tommy Gravesen. Before any of you get any funny ideas.
When we say fit. We mean he wasn't limping with an ankle injury.
Lard says: " So are you fit, Tommy?"
Tommy says: "Yes, I made
myself available for today's game."
Kipper says: "I thought you wanted to leave?"
Tommy says: "Who said
that? Don't believe that shit."
He
then stormed off to his car. He wasn't happy. So there you have
it. Straight from the horse's mouth. He doesn't want to leave.
This leaves lots of questions unanswered. Has he been misquoted?
Is this an excuse to get rid of Everton's best player this season,
because he is a nark in the camp? It seems to us, he's going no
matter what. (04/02/02)
With
the signing of Toby in the bag and also with Lee Carsley on his
to Goodison it seems certain that Mad Dog has kicked his last
ball for the Toffees. We can expect him to go before the end of
the season. He could even go on loan for the rest of the season.(02/02/02)
This
is like a fuckin' soap opera. We are now hearing that
Danish coach Morten Olsen is going to try and find Mad Dog a club
with all the connections he has got in Europe. He has played and
coached in Germany, Holland and Belgium. Clubs like Cologne, Ajax
and Anderlecht .
If
that's the case I'm sure I can help Tommy find a club. Because
I've played in alot of clubs.Try the Grafton. Now Fuck Off.(18/01/02)
There
was another twist in the Mad Dog affair. Walter hopes that he
stays. We think he should as well, at least until the end of the
season. Then he can go home and have one of his Mum's Sunday roasts.
Walter
said: "He's got an injury just now that's kept him out of
the last three or four games so we'll have to wait and see.
"The lad has indicated to us that he is homesick so if someone
is saying he has played his last game they obviously have information
that he's going to be transferred somewhere or is going somewhere.
But we have no indication of that at the moment, so when he has
recovered from injury we'll obviously be able to decide exactly
what he's going to do."
"We'd be very disappointed to see him leave but again that
would not be of our doing if a player is homesick.
"Obviously we would try to help him out of his predicament."
(15/01/02)
If
Tommy doesn't get his act together he could miss the World Cup
Finals. Danish coach Morten Olsen wants a settled squad and made
this statement:"February 1st is the cut-off point and after
that I won't consider any players who are experiencing problems
with their clubs." Watch this space. (08/01/02)
John Sivebaek, Mad Dog's agent, is wanting some questions answered
on Gravesen's future. He wants to speak to Walter asap. Sivebaek
said: "We will meet up with Walter to clear things out. It
has a very high priority and therefore I am ready to take off
at short notice. Right now, it is completely impossible to know
which direction things are heading." Sivebaek wants 3 three
questions answered: "What's Everton`s plans?"
"Are
HSV really truly interested and if that`s the case, what's the
price for Thomas?"
"In case other clubs are interested, is Thomas interested
in them?" Ask yer Tart!. (07/01/02)
