Fishy Out 2005                       Fishy in 2005

8. Alan Stubbs

We have heard that Blackburn and Bolton have enquired about the Everton Skipper. With Everton only offering Stubbsy a one year contract which runs out at the end of the season, and he wants 2 years. Funnier things have happened at sea. (22/01/05)

Blue Kipper says:

7. Eddy Bosnar

Big Eddy will have a weeks trial with Norwegian side, Valerenga. If both parties are happy then the 24-year-old will leave the Toffees. Even with such a small squad, Moyesy has not had Bosnar in the first team squad this season. (19/01/05)

6. Kevin Campbell

After nearly 6 years at Everton, the 34 year old has left. Super leaves with Moyesy blowing his trumpet about him.

Moyesy says: “West Brom are getting a good, honest professional footballer. We’re delighted for Kevin who’s been able to not only get himself a contract for this season but another season and he deserves it. He’s always kept himself in great condition, he’s in good physical shape and he did a good job for Everton. He has done a great job during my time at Everton but everybody tells me, and as I’m sure all Evertonians know, that he did a great job prior to my arrival as well. It’s terrific when you have senior players taking responsibility. Since I arrived here he’s been a gentleman and a good professional and I wish him all the very best in the future.” (11/01/05)

Super Kev was not even on the bench against Plymouth, so rumours that he maybe on his way out to West Brom will become a reality. With the signing of James Beattie, coupled with Nick Chadwick taking his place on the bench and Duncan Ferguson back from suspension next week, Super Kev is surplus to requirements. Negotiations with WBA are ongoing and Super will become a Baggies player within the next few days if he passes a medical. Good luck Super and thanks for the goals. (09/01/05)

Super Kev will be staying at Everton for the time being. With the squad being small and injuries and suspensions likely to hit some of the first XI, Everton rejected the chance of reducing the wage bill.

C.E.O. Keith Wyness says: “Leeds United have been in contact with us regarding taking Kevin Campbell on-loan. This request has been rejected and Kevin will be staying at Goodison Park.” (22/12/04)

Rumours are flying about that Everton may want to give Super Kev a wedge to pay off his contract and he can go and play somewhere else, possibly Millwall or Brentford, as he may want to go back to the smoke.

But Moyesy has hinted that this may not happen.

Moyesy says: "We will need Kevin during the Christmas period. Things can change very quickly at that time of year and Kevin has been training really well. We are not in a hurry to do anything regarding Kevin's situation." (18/12/04)

Signed For WBA

5. Joseph Yobo

It is no secret that Newcastle would like Joey, but the bluekipper.com player of the season would want his bumps feeling if he went there. Reports say Everton have rejected a bid from the barcodes for the Nigerian International.

Joey is in the same boat as Tommy Grav. He would like to stay at Goodison if we get into Europe and we get a few new players. There is no way he will be leaving in January.

Moyesy says: "There is a not a chance of Joseph leaving and despite not being in the team he has shown a terrific attitude and he understands the situation. He was in the team at the start of the season but then picked up a slight injury and those who have taken their chance have seized his place. But there will be chances for Joseph to take as well. There will be injuries and suspensions at some point and he has a big part to play here at Everton, not only this season but in the future as well. He is a good young player and a player I want at Everton for a long time. He is part of what we are trying to do at Everton and we want more players of Joseph's quality at the club." (18/12/04)

Blue Kipper says:

4. Duncan Ferguson

Big Dunc's former Rangers team-mate, Ian Ferguson has offered him the chance to join him at new Australian A League side Central Coast Mariners. Mariners assistant manager Ferguson has told his boss Lawrie McKinna to go for Big Dunc. The only problem we see is his pigeons will continue to fly back to Britain.

McKinna says: "Duncan has made a shed load of money and might be looking for a change of scene." (14/11/04)

Blue Kipper says:

3. Gary Naysmith

Since loosing his place in the first team, Nace has been injured for Scotland, and had on/off contract talks with Everton. Now Celtic are now said to be interested in taking him back to Scotland. Martin O'Neill could persuade him to join the Glasgow club in January 2005. (20/10/04)

Blue Kipper says:

2. Peter Clarke

Clarkey has moved to Blackpool on a month's loan with a view to a permanent move. (18/09/04)

Clarkey is a certainty to leave. He has rejected the one year deal offered to him. (15/06/04)

Peter has yet to take his chance with the 1st team. Every time he has played he looked out of depth. Still only young, Moyesy has to decide if it's worth keeping hold of him for the future or cash in on him. (01/01/04)

Signed For Blackpool

1. Thomas Gravesen

Unfortunately it seems likely that the long running Gravesen transfer saga will finally end today with Tommy completing a £2.3m transfer to Real Madrid.

Everton have now conceded that talks have commenced with Real Madrid. Although the official line from the club is..."Talks are currently ongoing between the clubs and no deal has been agreed as yet." Tommy's agent Johnny Shithead claims that a deal has been agreed, pending a medical that will take place today. (14/01/05)

Everton are still insisting that no contact between Madrid and Everton has yet to take place. Big Keith, Everton's CEO, has issued a statement to that effect. Mmmm, reminds me of last Summer this one. Ring any bells to you out there !!!!!!!!!!!

Big Keith Wyness says: "We will play the situation as it arises, if indeed something does arise. We know Tommy is happy at Everton and hopefully he will be here for some time to come."

The Slithery Agent says: "They would like to have him now but it’s not in my hands, it is up to Everton." (12/01/05)

Manure and Milan are in for Tommy, but it looks like Real Madrid have turned his head. Our sources in Spain say that if he leaves Everton he will go there. (11/01/05)

Don't worry it is all as clear as mud. Grav's agent Johnny Sivebaek has confirmed that someone from Real Madrid has enquired about our midfield lunatic. He has also confirmed that other clubs across Europe has made enquiries over Tommy's availability. He does not expect Everton to sell Tommy, and he believes that Tommy may even stay on at Goodison. Happy now, well that's cleared that one up then. I need some paracetemol.

Tommy's Agent, ex Manc Johnny Sivebaek says: ''Yes, one person from Real Madrid has called. He said they are interested in Thomas Gravesen and that they will get back to me later. That is what we are actually waiting for. All the time, we have been expecting for something to happen in the summer because I don't expect Everton to sell. But it is a possibility that he will extend with Everton. I can't mention names but clubs from England, France, Holland, Italy and Spain have all been in contact.'' (07/01/05)

Tommy has broken his silence over a proposed move to Real Madrid. Read between the lines.

Tommy says: "The interest of Real Madrid is a great surprise to me. I know absolutely nothing. I cannot speak on this subject because there are many rumors. I cannot and I do not have to speak about this. Everything you want to know, you can get from my representative. Real Madrid is a great team, but I cannot say more." (04/01/05)

Disturbing news emanating from Real Madrid in Spain. The Spanish giants are believed to be preparing a bid for Tommy, said to be in the region of £2m. Tommy who without doubt has been Everton's player of the season up to now will surely be tempted by the offer.

Tommy who is out of contract in May, will force Everton's hand who may sell him for a fee now, rather than let him go for sod all come the end of the season. Johnny Sivebaek, Grav's agent was said to be in Madrid last weekend. Lets hope he was just taking the missus on a January sale shopping break, rather than buttering up the Spanish giants. (03/01/05)

With Tommy playing the best football of his career and Everton riding high in second place, Valencia, Athletic Madrid and now Barcelona are said to be interested. (11/12/04)

Man Utd want him in a swop deal for Phil Neville (the ugly Chuckle Brother). Well so the papers say. (21/11/04)

Maybe not going. We have had it confirmed that he was seen limping in the directors box at Old Trafford. Our good authority person has been sacked. (30/08/04)

Tommy wasn't in the team today and we have it on good authority that he is at Villa having a medical. I can't cope with this anymore. (30/08/04)

Although Everton have said that Tommy is not for sale, then say it will cost in excess of £3 million to prise the bald eagle away, Hamburg's boss Klaus Topmoller still has other idea's. He is insistent that Tommy is keen to move back to Germany, and is still sure that he can reach a compromise with the Blues to land the player.

Hamburg Boss Topmoller says: "I have spoken to the player and Thomas is keen on a move. He's top of my list of new signings, although we are of course eyeing different options." (18/08/04)
