With
most of the squad signing long contracts, there are only the elderly
members of the squad plus a bit of dead wood who maybe shown the door
this Summer. We will be monitoring the facts, our inside info and the
rumours about players who may be leaving Everton. We will be giving
kippers out of 5. The more kippers the more likely we think the transfer
will happen. If there are rumours you have heard let bluekipper.com

For Big Dunc & Lie Tie
Moyesy
says:
“Duncan Ferguson and Li Tie have both been released and we have
decided not to take up the transfer option on Matteo Ferrari following
his loan. We have offered new contracts to Alan Stubbs and David
Weir and we will be offering one to Nigel Martyn subject to a specialist’s
report. As well as that, several of our young players have been
released. Sean Wright, Stephen Wynne, Laurence Wilson, Jay Harris,
Christian Seargeant and Paul Hopkins.” (08/05/06)
Players
To Be Told At The End Of The Season
Everton
have Duncan Ferguson, Nigel Martyn, Alan Stubbs, Li Tie, and David
Weir all out of contract in the summer. Plus Matteo Ferrari's loan
spell will be over. So Moyesy will have to make some decisions on
these players before we start signing any players.
Moyesy
says: "I'll speak to all of them next week, I've decided
this is the best thing to do. I have already made up my mind what
is going to happen, but I haven't told the players yet." (06/05/06)

Kevin Kilbane
Killa
has flown home from his Dublin training camp to have a medical
at Wigan this afternoon. Reports earlier in the week suggested
that the midfielder would be joining Fulham, but it appears that
Paul Jewell fancies Killa, and has made a last minute bid for
the Irish International. A fee in the region of £800,000
has been mentioned. Cheers Kev, best of luck at the Latics, except
two weeks on Saturday of course.
(31/08/06)
As
reported a few days ago, Fulham have made the bid. Now it depends
if Moyesy could up the bid to say £1m and use the cash to
secure another player before tomorrows transfer deadline. It also
depends on if the settled Killa wants to leave high riding Everton
for a trip to the smoke. (30/08/06)
According
to some Sunday papers, Fulham are set to make an offer of around
£750,000 for Killa. This may well help Everton secure Steed
Malbranque. (28/08/06)

James Beattie
Reports
form the North East suggest that new skunks boss Glenn Roeder
is keen to take Biffa Beattie to Newcastle. The skunks who will
be without ex shit 'ed Michael Owen for the foreseeable future
are short of fire power after the retirement of skunks and England
legend Alan Shearer to boot.
It
is understood that Roeder was over heard saying in a conversation
with a colleague that he was interested in BT. Me thinks he has
a cable service, and he wants to go back to his original phone
provider. Unless an astronomical bid is made, me thinks we can
put this one to bed, as Moyesy is building his squad not dismantling
it. (03/08/06)

Lee Carsley - Contract
Expires June 2007
Wolves
boss Mick McCarthy has admitted he had talks with Harry Hill
McCarthy says: "We were in discussions with
Lee. But he decided to stay on at Goodison for another year in
The Premiership." (20/08/06)
Harry
Hill could be on his way to Wolves if new Boss Mick McCarthy has
his way. Now that Paul shithouse Ince has been shown the door,
McCarthy is in the hunt for an aggresive ball winner, and Harry
Hill fits the bill. The two were together when Cars played in
Mc Carthy's Republic of Ireland midfield, and the new Wolves Boss
is a great admirer of the hirsute midfielder. Harry has stayed
at home from the USA trip, and with only a year left on his contract,
Moyesy may feel it is time to let the player move on.
Mick
McCarthy says: "I admire Carsley, I haven't spoken
to David Moyes about him, but we would like somebody of that ilk."

Gary Naysmith
- Contract Expires June 2008
Although Everton may be ready to
sell Nace, Moyesy has made it clear that Celtic has not approched
him about the left back, when asked by Scottish journo's.
Moyesy
says: “You say ‘further interest’ but I can tell you
that there has been no interest in Gary Naysmith from Celtic.
I have heard nothing from Celtic.” (23/07/06)
Moyesy
has confirmed that if the price is right, he will allow Nace to
join Glagow Celtic. The Hoops need a left back, and with the form
of Nuno last season, and Pisto waiting in the wings, it is a position
were Moyesy has plenty of cover. The Scotttish left back would
relish a move back North, and the lure of Champions League footy
may be to great to knock back. Moyesy is reportedly asking a million
for the bearded defender. (19/07/06)
Premiership new boys Watford are
said to be looking to sign some experienced defenders and Nace
is one of the players they fancy. Fancy away. (18/06/06)
German
side Stuttgart are looking for a new left back and Nace is reported
to be on their list of targets. (14/06/06)
Celtic
are said to be looking at Nace for a possible return to Scotland,
but only if other deals fall through. Lets hope they do, as Shaggy
has never been the player some said he was before his injury.

Joey Yobo

Apparently Joe has indicated he will
sign a new contract on 1st July 2006. (21/06/06)
Everton
have contacted us and asked us to take the story regarding Joseph
off the site. We are happy to do this.
The
story appears to have originated from a Nigerian newspaper regarding
Joseph Yobo which has incorporated fabricated quotes from David
Moyes. The
manager has not conducted an interview with the newspaper in question
and he has made it clear he has certainly never said what the
article suggests he did. Everton are in the process of trying
to contact the paper in question regarding the quotes in question.

Andy Van Der Meyde - Contract Expires June 2009
If Shandy Andy goes to Porto there
is a possibility that Everton may use a swop deal to bring in
Benni McCarthy
(12/06/06)
What
a difference a couple of weeks make. Andy was only saying he wanted
to stay (see below) but now
he has not made the dutch squad, he's looks as though he wants
to leave. With Juventus and Porto in for him. Everton have said
nothing, but there were rumours about that Moyesy wasn't happy
with his fitness levels.
Shandy
Andy Pandy says: "I am sorry to have quit Italian
football and Inter. I had a real will to play. I wanted to show
my value and earn a place in van Basten's team for the World Cup.
It
is like I have lost a whole year, because I have played only ten
matches in the Premier League due to injuries.
I
hope there can be a place for me. I want to start from scratch.
I would certainly be attracted to play for Juventus if they get
relegated. But my old coach, Adriaanse would like me to help him
at Porto. I
worked a lot with him at Ajax, but I really hope there could be
a place for me somewhere in Italy." (09/06/06)
Reports
in the Turkey say that Andy may be ready to join Galatasaray.
(30/05/06)
Andy
Pandy is shocked that there are reports of him leaving because
of him not being fit enough.
Shandy
Andy says: "I
haven't heard anything about whether the club wants to sell me
but I would like to stay and fight for my place. I want to show
everyone here what I can do. If they want to sell me, there is
not much I can do. I like playing in England, I'm settled here
and I spoke with the gaffer before I left for my holidays. I was
disappointed the season was very unlucky for me. That's why I
want the new season to start quickly, so I can make it up to everyone.
We may be on holiday but I will be doing some training. I'll work
on my fitness, do some running so I'm in good shape when I come
back in July." (12/05/06)
It
seems Moyesy's patience with the flying, I said that loosely Dutchman
may be running out. Word has it that Everton want rid of Andy
who has failed to impress in his injury ridden time at the Blues.
He suffered the embarrassment of being pulled off at half time
against Boro the other week due to his inept performance, and
Moyesy will be happy to tout him around and try and recoup some
of the £1.9m that was paid for him last August. (11/05/06)

Mikel Arteta - Contract Expires June 2010
With

for Man Utd, because he watched them play a game at Old Trafford
with his parents, and earlier that he was going to the shite.
We finally had the opportunity to ask him ourselves at the Blue

Mikel
says: "No! I'm really honest in saying I'm not leaving.
I am very happy at Everton. The supporters are very nice to me.

will buy some good players to make this happen." (06/05/06)

Matteo Ferrari - Loan Contract Expires June 2006
Blackburn
are said to be interested in taking the Italian on a similar one
season loan deal that he had with Everton. (10/06/06)
Even
though he was young and he looked the part the few times he was
on the pitch, Matt will be going back to Italy.
Moyesy
says: "We have decided not to take up the transfer
option on Matteo Ferrari following his loan." (08/05/06)
When
he has played he looks that he could be a good player. Problem
is the fans haven't seen the 25 year old enough. This has been
due to an unfortunate injury against Arsenal. Stubbsy deputised
for him and basically that was the end for Mat. Everton have indicated
that they would give him a contract, but that was before he walked
out of the ground after being left out against Birmingham. All
the more surprising that both parties seemed to think they had
a future together.
Matty
says: "There is a big question mark against my future
and I sincerely still don't know where I will be playing next
season. But because we are at the end of the season something
needs to be done. If Everton want me or just want to extend my
loan for another season I think it is time to start to think about
that. I would like to know where I will play next season. The
only thing I know for 100 per cent is that I have a contract with
Roma and if nothing happens then I will go back.
The main issue is that I would like
to prove I am a Premiership player. I have not really had this
chance so I would like to have next season as well. My future
is not just up to me, there are a number of parties to consider,
but I know what I would like.
We
don't have many games left to play but I would like to play as
often as possible to show what my game is all about. I just want
to make it clear to all those people that have shown confidence
in me that I am a good player. It has been a frustrating season
because as a player to give the best of yourself you just need
to play four or five games in a row but for a number of reasons,
mainly because of injuries, I have not had the chance to show
what I am fully capable of as a player. It has been an unfortunate
season. Over the last five seasons I have played the vast majority
of games for the clubs I have been playing for. This is the first
time I have not been able to play because of injuries and that
has been upsetting. In the beginning I needed a few months to
adapt but after that I felt I settled very well in England and
enjoyed the games I played in. I have also enjoyed the English
way of life and living in Merseyside. For this reason it is upsetting
that the injuries happened in the wrong moment for me." (18/04/06)
Moyesy
says: "The word I am hearing is yes, he wants to
stay." (11/04/06)
Moyesy
says: We won't be discussing any of that (new contracts)
until the end of the season. But Matteo is a good player. He is
a good defender. We are just disappointed that we haven't been
able to see a bit more of him than we have done but we're hoping
that in some of the games before the end of the year, he'll get
an opportunity. You have to remember that we got Matteo late on,
so he hadn't done any pre-season training with us. It's only fair
he gets the opportunity to show what he can do." (06/04/06)

Nigel Martyn - Contract Expires June 2006
Nigel
Martyn's dream to stay in football as a goal keeping coach is now
in doubt due to his injury.
Big
Nige says: "It's a bit awkward to know what the future
holds right now. Initially, I was always going to become a goal-keeping
coach. But
kicking a ball is obviously a big part of coaching and I think this
is going to stop me. It's a tough time for me at the moment, to
know what I am going to do. I'm going to take a bit of time to think
about what direction I am going to take." (12/06/06)
Big
Nige has had to retire, after learning his ankle bone had not healed
and he would have to have another operation to pin the bones back
together.
Big
Nige says: "Yesterday I had a follow up CT scan which
was checking to see if the crack in the bone had healed any, which
is what we needed at the time but it clearly showed no healing.
It means I will have to have another operation to pin the bones
back together. I had to get on the phone to the manager after making
the decision between myself, Baz the physio, John the consultant
and my wife. It was a decision based on being able to live a normal
sort of life afterwards - that was the primary concern because it
is a nasty bone to have a problem in.Once we made that decision
the gaffer needed to be informed.
I
have loved every minute of my time at Everton. I have a lot to be
thankful to Everton for because I was languishing at the Leeds at
the time. I was out of favour at Elland Road because I would not
go on a tour and so I will always be thankful to the manager for
putting his faith in me and giving me another chance. To be able
to play two and a half seasons was a big thing for me because it
meant I could finish my career properly." (08/06/06)
Big
Nige was hoping for good news from his scan today.
Head
Physio Mick 'Baz' Rathbone says: "Nigel was having
his scan this morning and seeing the consultant this afternoon."
(07/06/06)
As
long as he gets the all clear from the medical staff next month,
Big Nige will get another year contract.
Moyesy
says: "We will be offering a contract to Nigel Martyn
subject to a specialist’s report." (08/05/06)
The
oldest player at 39 seems to be the most safe. He is out on his
own as by far the best keeper at the club, and with Dickie Wright
not taking his chance over the past months, Moyesy has hinted that
if the medical staff give the OK on his ankle injury then he will
be offered a new contract. (06/05/06)

Alan Stubbs - Contract Expires June 2006
Moyesy
has not made the same mistake as last year, and he has given Stubbsey
a one year deal to stay at Goodison. Stubbsey has agreed, and will
probably see his playing days out now at Everton. Moyesy and Stubbsey
fell out last year over the terms off the centre halves last deal,
and Stubbsey pissed off on a free to Sunderland. The move never
worked out, and Stubbsey was welcomed back into the fold in the
January transfer window. Great stuff, only two attackers, a centre
mid, and a new centre half now required, and we might do something
next season. (24/05/06)
Moyesy says: "We have offered new contracts
to Alan Stubbs and David Weir." (08/05/06)
Stubbsy
has returned to add a bit of stability to the defence. It is no
coincidence that we started winning games when he came back into
the team in January. (06/04/06)

5. David Weir - Contract Expires June 2006
Davie
has signed a new one year deal. He had some nice things to say
about the Toffeemen. Well done Davie.
Davie
says: "Competition is good for everyone. Centre-halves
have arrived at the club in the past and it's my job to try and
get into the team.
Most players who have left Everton have regretted it and although
I had other options, this club was always going to be the winner.
The
players are a great bunch of lads and the staff are great as well
and that makes a big difference." (29/06/06)
The
Echo says Davie has signed the contract, but nothing official
from Everton.
His
agent Dave Lockwood says: "David is still thinking
over things but it wouldn't be fair to speculate of what will
or won't happen. I've told Jeremy Peace (West Brom) that he will
be the first to know as soon as a decision has been made. We expect
that decision by the end of this week." (23/06/06)
A
month has gone by since Everton offered the Everton skipper a
one year extension to his contract. He still hasn't given an answer.
It's thought the 36 year old is keen on a possible two year deal
on the table from Birmingham and West Brom. Everton want a decision
in 48 hours. (12/06/06)
Leeds
have pulled out of the chase.
Leeds
manager Kevin Blackwell says: "Last
summer we tried to get David in, but we moved on. There's
been no interest in David this summer." (09/06/06)
Birmingham
City, West Bromwich Albion have joined the race to sign the Everton
skipper. It's believed that the 36-year-old will be offered a
two-year contract by the two midlands clubs. (07/06/06)
Leeds
and Sheffield United have expressed an interest in taking Davey
over to Yorkshire next season. Leeds who took a fancy to the Scottish
captain last season, have been joined in the hunt by their local
rivals Sheffield United. If the offer is higher and the contract
longer that Everton's which no doubt it will be, Davey could have
already worn the Royal Blue for the last time. Moyesy is already
short on cover in the centre back positions, so this may force
his hand to enter into the market himself. It is believed he has
£10.47p, at his disposal this Summer. (12/05/06)
The Everton captain is considering
a one year contract on reduced terms.
Davie
says: "I was offered a new contract only yesterday
(Tuesday), the manager rang me so we'll see what happens."
(10/05/05)
Moyesy
says: "We have offered new contracts to Alan Stubbs
and David Weir." (08/05/06)
Everton's
captain has had his critics over the season. His lack of pace
as he gets older is worrying. Moyesy must decide on whether he
can risk another year, when the opposition forwards are getting
fitter and faster. (06/04/06)

Duncan Ferguson - Contract Expires June 2006
Preston
after the big man. You'd think he would be happy with Chantelle,
but he's now after Dunc. Although Wigan, Portsmouth, Norwich etc
etc have allegedly made enquiries, PNE are the latest to show an
interest. Can't see it meself.(08/08/06)
Although
released from the Blues, and now retired from footballing circles,
Dunc is still getting enquiries for his services. The latest is
from Scottish giants St. Mirren who made an audacious approach for
the ex Everton hero. Dunc considered it, but in the end turned it
down due to the lack of Pigeon Fanciers Clubs in the St. Mirren
area.
Gus MacPherson, St. Mirrens Gaffer says: "We
made an enquiry about Duncan Ferguson and felt, as an experienced
striker, he could do a job for us." (04/08/06)
Big
Dunc and Harry Redknapp have had a meeting while both on holiday
in Barbados. This could mean Dunc taking his pigeons down to Pompey
for a year. Thanks to Blue Kipper's roving reporter Matty. (02/06/06)
Dunc
is still happy with his pigeons, but just by the fact that he is
a free agent, clubs are expressing an interest in him. Latest to
do so are Sheffield Wednesday, managed by Paul Sturrock, who was
with Big Dunc in the strikers early part of his career at Dundee
United. Sturrock has thrown his hat into the ring for Dunc, but
he is competing against a a host of other clubs, and Dunc's pigeons.
Sturrock
says: "He's an exceptional talent although he had
injury problems last year. I'm not writing him off, I'm sure he'll
find a Premiership home." (23/05/06)
We
can exclusively reveal that Big Dunc, who wanted to stay for another
season at Everton, has had enquires from other clubs including Blackburn.
They been in touch with Dunc's agent to see if there is a possibility
of a deal. (10/05/06)
After
273 games, 73 goals and a thousand memories, Big Dunc's Everton
career is over.
Moyesy
says:
“Duncan Ferguson has been released." (08/05/06)
The
big man has started just 9 games this season and come on as sub
for 19 others, but not scored a single goal. The talisman has not
repeated the way he had an impact on last season when he came on
in 28 games scoring 5 goals helping Everton secure 4th place. Big

Richard Wright - Contract Expires June 2007
With
a year left on Dickies contract it is rumoured that Southampton
are preparing a bid in the region of £1m, to take the keeper
to the South Coast. Saints boss George Burley had Dickie under his
wing when the pair of them were part of ther Ipswich set up, that
catapulted the East Anglian side to third in the Premiership. With
the arrival of Tim Howard to Goodison, and the emergence of Iain
Turner and John Ruddy, Moyesy may well cash in on the injury prone
keeper, and slash his wage bill by a reported £20k a week.
(10/07/06)
With
Tim Howard signed
up for at least a year and Nigel Martyn likely to get the go ahead
for another season, it must cast a big doubt on Dickie's future.
Everton could well cash in on him. (10/05/06)
Dickie
still has a year left on his contract, but he hasn't instilled confidence
in the team after he got a chance through Martyn's injury. With
strong reports on Tim Howard moving here, he could be used to get
some money. With Moyesy seeking to secure an experienced goalie,
and there not being much cash in the bank for Davie to use, this
seems a logical idea. Mind you we are talking about Everton. (06/05/06)

James McFadden - Contract Expires June 2007
Rumours that Faddy is after a whopping
pay deal and if not wants away from Everton are just untrue, according
to his agent.
McFadden's
agent Catherine Robertson says: "I've
no idea where this story came from because it's just not true.
I had a meeting with Keith Wyness last week and the talks were
very positive. James will speak with Davie Moyes this week and
we're hopeful we can get something sorted then. James is happy
at Everton and he's very settled in Liverpool." (13/06/06)
Everton
have offered Faddy a take it or leave it contract. They have upped
his money, but apparently not to the figures his agent was after.
So it's up to Faddy. The top Scottish clubs are looking on.
(09/06/06)
Apparently
Jimmy Mac's agent was in talks with Everton today. Someone, somewhere
said he's after a million a year. (07/06/06)
Jimmy
Mac wants to extend his contract at Goodison. Some reports suggested
that talks had broken down.
Everton
CEO Keith Wyness says: "We will be reviewing James'
situation over the course of the summer."
McFadden's
agent Catherine Robertson says: "I have been trying
to negotiate his contract but as yet there is still nothing. All
James can do is keep performing and getting it right on the pitch
and the rest will take care of itself. There have been clubs interested
in him but he wants to prove himself at Everton and his performances
have shown that this season. He's had a long run in the team and
we are just waiting on a phone call. The ball is in Everton's
court." (09/05/06)
Jimmy
Mac has scored a few goals over the last few games, but is still
not the ideal striking partner for Biffa or the left winger we
thought he was. However all the noises coming from the club are
positive so it looks as though a new contract could be offered.
(23/04/06)
having
more success in Scotland's national team than here at Goodison,
there are rumours that both Celtic and Rangers are interested
in taking him back North of the border. Faddy has had a few chances
this season, but failed to take them. (14/01/06)
