Everton Football Club was like a home for me. The manager is brilliant and all my teammates were friendly and accommodating and tried to help me settle.I have got many benefits from my experience at Everton. It's not only improved my football skill, but also gave me a lot of fresh ideas.”(20/01/03) International Call Up Li Wei Feng has been called up to play for China in a friendly against Brazil on 12 Feb. it is the Battle of Tea versus Coffee! He has impressed Davie Weir and our boss David Moyes. Moyesey said:" I thought Li Wei Feng did very well considering it was his Premiership debut. It was probably more difficult for him than Li Tie, coming in at centre- half where you're more exposed, but he did well. He has certainly been added to our first team pool, but we will need to see him in a few more games to see how he develops. But after Wednesday I would certainly have no fears about putting him in." Davie said:“I thought
he was brilliant,” he insisted. “He played really well. It was a tricky
situation for him, being his first game and the fact that it was away
from home, but he was positive and didn’t put a foot wrong. I’ve only
got good things to say about him.”(13/09/02) |
