Tommy Ring At Goodison Park
Bookmark and Share

Many years ago at a game in the early 60's at Goodison Park, Everton's winger Tommy Ring was fouled and crashed in heap.

A voice from the Paddock yelled out "Rip his bloody leg off Tommy and hit him with the soggy end!!"

As a cousin of Tommy Ring we are all proud Evertonians since. I have a Scottish shirt and cap from the 50s. Loved the comments from Alex Young in his recent book.
