Yes, I was there. My first ever game! Went with my Dad, had meat pie and bovril. Had shits all night. However, what I remember most was the walking up the stairs and then seeing the pitch and lights for the first time. When Z cars started playing I got a tingle down the back of my neck and I was hooked for life. What a night! Absolutely fantastic. How anyone from Liverpool can support the Shite I will never know.
