The Blues opened their doors yesterday for the public to view David France's Collection, and Everton's own collection of memorabilia for the start of Everton's Heritage Week. Lord Granchester along with the Lord Mayor Of Liverpool, and Dr. David France performed the opening ceremony, and the organisers where delighted with the turn out from the Everton public to view what is described by Christie's 'as the most comprehensive collection of football memorabilia ever assembled.' The highlight of the week is a team of Everton Legends, taking on a team of Barcelona Legends at Goodison on Wednesday, so get off your backsides and get down to Goodison, and lets help secure a huge part of Everton's history forever. Dr David France says: "Bill Kenwright and Keith Wyness both recognise that no other club in the world has such a richness of archives, or such a richness of history within their grasp." Lord Granchester says: When we opened, we were full, which just shows how well supported the club is and how much interest there is in the memorabilia. I didn’t think the turnout would be this good. The Lord Mayor was here at the very start and she loved it. The collection is fantastic."
