Steve McMahon In Singapore

I know he used to play for the Shite, but he speaks fondly of his days at Everton. McMahon works for ESPN in South East Asia and we sometimes bump into him at a bar in Singapore. He actually gives Everton quite a lot of credit when he's a pundit.

Alessandro Pistone In Manchester

Would love to see this picture of me and Pistone on the site. He was at Manchester Airport flying to Milan. He was on the same flight as me, only around 30 people on there! He was a top bloke. My girlfriend said she would rather be with him than me :(. I Wished him all the best for the future. I wonder if he's going to be playing in Italy anytime soon.

Late Night Drinkie's With Reidy

I was over in London from Holland where I now live for a bit of business/pleasure and who should I bump into our Hotel Bar, but my all time hero Peter Reid. He was on Sky Sports duty, and as you can see Chris Kamara and Champagne Charlie are with him. The time is half three in the morning, and we are still going strong !!

I can see why Champagne Charlie is called so, and I must say Chris Kamara is one top bloke. But it was Reidy for me, I bored him with my tales of Bayern Munich, when I stood in the Park End with my mates, and the halcyon days of the mid 1980's, when I was a bit of a lad living in Aintree, and loving the Blues.

Great site, keep up the good work.

Mick Meagan In Dublin

I recently had the absolute pleasure to meet an Everton and Ireland legend. My father-in law rang me out of the blue and asked me would I like to bring a friend of mine who was visiting Dublin from Runcorn (Jimmy The Woolyback) down to the local park and watch a group of oul codgers playing head tennis. I was about to tell him to get to f...., when he told me that among the fellas playing was non other that Mick Meagan. So off me and Jimmy went to watch the lads. Well he might be 84 next birthday have arthritic knees, but Mick can still play footie. He joined us in the local hostelry for a shandy or 4 after the kick around and told us stories from years gone by. A gentleman if ever I met one, and funny aswell. A big thanks to Tony "Dinger" Bell (me DA in-law) for setting up the meeting. Here's a couple of snaps.

Just got back from Florida. On one of the days we went to Discovery Cove and bumped into Andy Gray, who was there with his family. I’m a fire officer and Bluenose at Coventry Airport, the Blues reserves team Flew out to Austria, so managed to get some photos of myself and Andy Sayer(another big blue) with Andy Holden and the great left foot himself “Sheeds”, taken by my partner Karen.
