After seeing the pictures of the new stadium it had my mouth watering. I'd love us to get the site but I've got a sneaky suspicition that they've already fucked our bid off. I hope I'm wrong. Bowlers. (08/02/01) We have got to move out of Goodison or we will be left behind, it may break some peoples hearts, but time is a great healer! i would hate nothing more than to see the shite move to a brand new stadia, and for us to be left behind. Its a psycological punch as well, going to a 60,000 plus stadium full of the red shite for the derby is not going to help matters, if they come to rusty old goodison for the return leg, is it? lets move, it can only be a good thing and for the future. ps; is there any blue noses in Newcastle, and where do they bevvy..let us know my address is JOOLZ72@hotmail.com (16/11/00) Everton Football Club, a part of the Liverpool skyline.
Fantastic, the scum will see their arse over that one and no mistake!
Surely the profile of the club is of paramount importance, and putting
us in the heart of the city will provide the perfect setting if we're
to rebuild the club that shapes our lives, '...on the banks of the royal
blue Mersey.' Gez (03/11/00)
the albert dock is the only way forward, the memories from goodison park's glory days will never fade from my mind and many other blues supporters. it doesnt matter where we play our home games, all that matters is that we play in blue and white and are called EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB. as the club motto states, nil satis nisi optimum. nothin but the best is good enough, so lets move to a new ground which is nothin but the best!!!!! efc 4 life. James Price (01/11/00) Any Walton residents protesting against the redevelopment
of Goodison will live to regret they're day of anger. Just wait till
they have a 24 hour supermarket with tankers going up and down at all
hours of the day. If Kenwright and Gregg wanted, a plan could be in
place for a New Goodison - but we all know that Gregg has outside interests.
A very sad day when Everton are relocated away from home. IF A MOVE IS TO TAKE PLACE ,GIVE US A BIT OF NOTICE.
ORGANISING TICKETS AND THE TRIP FOR THE LAST GAME AT GOODISON MAY TAKE
US A DAY OR SO. We've just got to move - no question! We need the all year income to stay in the game - imagine our LFC colleagues in their discussions with ourselves from their lofty position to ourselves in what ever lowly league we find ourselves. Lets get down to Goodison this week and start knocking it down and do all ourselves a favour. Since when did the "good old days" become any use for the future. Just in case anyone thinks I'm a new kid on the block ,I started watching when they were in the old second division (Dave Hickson was great) and I've not missed many since then. One thing though - how are we going to finance it - it looks like the NTL deal will die a death. Dadio (26/10/00) Lets Go and get away from the Red Shite. Give LAVO my regards. Alan Powell. (18/10/00) blue kipper, i think Phil Mcnultys comments in fridays "echo" regarding sharing a new ground with our neighbours were spot on . It's going to be so difficult to find two ideal locations at once so wouldn't one be good enough for everybody. Deep down i think a lot of people might admit to themselves that it wouldn't be that an idea at all. A TRUE BLUE.(15/10/00) Let's go for the Albert Dock. The important thing is
that it will generate vast sums of money for E.F.C. It warms the cockles
of my little heart to think that 'shite' supporters will be watching
concerts etc, etc and at the same time making a contribution to the
Blues. A lot has still to be decided but Everton must be the sole owners
of any new ground. The last thing I want is for someone else to have
a stake in it, particularly the Council, who are clearly 'shite' supporters.
The transport is a big problem and the possibility of having thousands
of visiting supporters roaming the city centre every other weekend is
not good. Let's see all the facts before we decide but I must admit
that I am leaning towards the Albert Dock. Little Jim. (14/10/00)
If we have to go, then we must. But we cannot let Goodison
become a site for Kwick save or Tescos. Derby had the sense to keep
the baseball ground for the reserves we have to do the same. Murph
(11/10/00)
An absolute must for Everton in the 21st century. At
last Everton are looking long term and not missing the boat to the other
shower. (Whether or not the City Council will allow us to get the jump
on them awaits to be seen). It is a must that Everton are in a prime
site in terms of our visibility. The prime bonus of the King's Dock
site is that every visitor to Liverpool visits the Albert Dock and this
means that every visitor is a potential evertonian. We must think of
the global marketing opportunity. I sincerely hope that this bid is
successful and that, at last, we have some genuine vision from above.

As an exiled Bluenose living in Tyneside and remembering
my first game back in 1967, memories flood back. But those memories
will always be with me, whether we move or not. I am all for the Kings
Dock idea, and hope that it comes off. Stapo & son. (08/10/00)
I am all for a move to the Kings Dock area, I have supported
Everton for nearly 40 years and even with a new lick of paint the old
place still looks tired. It is time to move forward, time to bring us
a new home that will be one of the finest in Britain. Billy Johnston

This is the first time i've e-mailed.it's a great site.
keep up the good work.i,dont want to leave gp but a move to the kings
dock would be ok. just imagine every time you see the famous liverpool
skyline you'd see the new goodison park. wouldnt that piss the shite
off.we'd be in the heart of the city and not in a car park in walton.
Neil Hardie(08/10/00
Kings Dock - YES PLEASE!!! P Finlayson (06/10/00) If we have to move and it looks like that's already done and dusted, then i think going to the Kings dock will be a great move,it will put E.F.C. BACK WERE WE BELONG AT THE TOP WITH THE BEST STADIUM IN EUROPE.All we need is a team who can live up to the expectations of our loyal supporters and sadly we don,t have that team just yet.Is Walter good enough to take us there who knows? if he fucks up with his tactics like he does then no.The shite can keep their Stanley Park and shove it right up their sheep shaggers arse because in the end we will be the leaders,we will be the team who has the vision and the balls to move on to greater things.Fuck the scum and every shitbag who follows them because they are and always will be the devils spawn. Getting back to why i mailed, yes i am all for the kings dock and the fact its right on top of town and all its delights has got fuck all to do with it. Terry Smith (07/10/00) my kipper turned blue with excitement when i read the great news about the possible move to the kings dock, this is a great idea with brilliant foresight and i hope we can be successful in this effort, there must however be one stipulation, that not one minty red nosed ming be allowed into the "Goodison Kings Dock stadium" P.Dunne. (07/10/00) go for it , it will make the red sh##e jealous i have great sentiment with GP but i think it's had it day ,you've got to move with the times.......But i won't forget GP our roots. Kevin Bolland (07/10/00) I have every faith in Blue Bill to do whats best for the club lets be honest the once famous school of science is getting nearer to the back of the class. Go for it go forward , but we should retain the name GOODISON PARK. Tom Faux (07/10/00) The Vote on The Kings Dock More fans views Images of Kings Dock |
