Kings Dock Blue Kipper has been involved with the "Everton for Kings Dock" movement from the start. The Kings Dock project has been put back 6 months. This does not come as a surprise to us at Blue Kipper, as we thought this maybe the case when Mickey Blue Eyes met Sir Joe Dwyer earlier in the year. For a full report of the meeting click here The official announcement yesterday from the official Everton site said: "The promoters of the venture have been forced to delay applying for planning permission by six months so that they can submit a detailed planning application for the whole complex. It is believed that by submitting the detailed application to the authorities, it will reduce the chance of a public enquiry being called - which could last for up to two years. The decision means that the Blues are likely to have to wait until the beginning of season 2006/07 before they can leave Goodison and move to their new home. The proposed new development was scheduled to be completed by August 2005, but this latest setback means that the builders wouldn’t be out until Christmas 2005. The possibility of moving mid-season is currently being discussed, but the logistical problems that would cause mean the club will almost certainly have to put their plans on hold by 12 months." Blue Kipper will make a full report on this announcement when we get more information. (20/04/02) The Kings Dock - Index More fans views Images of Kings Dock What shall we call the Stadium Jogger's
