Hurricane
Katrina
A
photograph of my brother ( Nick) and I ( Andrew King ) and our
families in Key West in Florida at the Southern most tip of America
with our blue kipper t shirts. This is on the Saturday after Hurricane
Katrina hit the Keys on the previous Thursday. We survived a Cat
2 hurricane 100 mph winds, 16 hours of rain, no power in our apartment
for a day and night and survived on frosties and crisps for 2
days until the power was restored. You can see in the background
the Atlantic Ocean is still very choppy.
