Love
It. Defo buying it when it comes out. Can't wait to pull it on.
Hopkinson. (05/05/07)

How
long is this one gonna last for! I won't buy another kit until they
confirm it'll be used for 2 seasons at least. They don't even use
it for a whole season now as last homegame always has the new kit
being paraded. Robert Connor

Different year, same old kit. Paul

How
much will they charge us for the new top? ££££
It's just about the same as the old one. Just like the England rip
off. Bobby Morris Carlisle. (05/05/07)

Minging. The trim down the sides looks the
Serbian Olympics teams tracksuits of 1988! What are Umbro up to?
Get another manufacturer on board now. Martin Ware. (05/05/07)

Am
I right in saying that umbro design a kit to go hand in hand with
traditions of Everton football club, then why have Glasgow Rangers
got the same design including the zebras under the arms. The only
difference is that they have different colours on the neck area.
Watch closely for all other teams sponsered by umbro, more interested
in taking money than making a traditional kit. Bring on Nike or
Adidas. jules (05/05/07)

Agree
with a lot who say it's just got the fiddly bits in a different
place. Go retro. A plain royal blue shirt, white collar and embossed
badge, the works! tg. (05/05/07)

I've
got mixed opinions about the new kit. While I agree with the comments
by Helen from Wrexham I also agree with what a lot of other people
such as Martyn from Colchester and Tayc. Yes, I think its a nice
kit but I think its just too similar. If you put it next to last
seasons you will see all they have done is moved the diamond shoulder
pattern so its on both shoulders and made the white bit under the
arms longer so it goes down the sides and not just the underarms.
The yellow bit on the collar as well but its hardly noticable, if
you look at pics of it being worn the yellow bit is tiny, it just
looks more apparent on the pics of it not worn because there is
a bit on the inside as well.
Not sure if I'll get it straight away as its less than 12 months
since I last forked out, which was only 12 months after the year
before and so on.
I definitly agree with the comment about having too many kits. All
we need is a blue home kit and a yellow away kit and we're sorted,
then we wont clash with any teams in the league. If we have blue
home and white away there's more chance of a clash, meaning a 3rd
kit is needed just in case. If you look at Nescastle and Celtics
new home shirts they're lovely. Theres actually a bit of different
style going on from the previous ones and they're two nice kits.
I think I'll be more inclined to buy a Celtic shirt this season
as I've got an almost exact replica of our "new" one.
So nice kit, but I would say that because I liked last seasons.

Nothing
more than average and very similar to the current one. I agree we
should seek a new kit manufacturer like Nike or Adidas. I will probably
purchase it as I'm still wearing the one from 2005/2006 and don't
wana be any more outdated. Stuart Yates (05/05/07)

I
love the new kit, and I will be buying it for my two kids as soon
as its out. I bought them both a kit last year and they have worn
it week in, week out - it is never off their backs and is still
in great condition (getting a bit small now though!) Can't wait
to see the boys in it!! Helen. (Wrexham) (04/05/07)

The
colour is great, but that's about it. All Umbro seem to have done
is move the shoulder diamond effect around a bit, changed the collar
and finally embroidered the badge instead of a bloody transfer!!!!
I agree with Neil Roberts' comment that we should look for a better
kit manufacturer, I know Adidas do the Shite's kit but their designs
are much better than Umbro who never seem to move their designs
forward. Had to giggle at the comment on the EFC official website
from JJB's sponsorship director............it'd be nice to think
that they might actually stock this one for a whole season this
time round!!!!! Martyn (Colchester) (04/05/07)

It's
Exactly The Same As The One Now. Tayc.

Disappointing.
I was looking at old footage of kit worn by Alan Ball. I've got
a photo of me wearing it, in my back garden, 1970, when I was six.
That kit, with round white collar and modern embroidered badge,
would have looked brilliant. Holdo. (04/05/07)

Horrible,
disgusting and dated. Beg Nike to make our kit from now on please
in plain simple royal blue. Those bits under the arms are terrible,
clearly a designers desperation to try to make it look a bit different.
But to be fair it is better than the "one2one" efforts
of years gone by and as long as the team performs well in it i couldn't
give a shite! Paul W (04/05/07)

Hallelujah!
Another case of the identi-kit disease. It seems that Umbro overdid
it again by taking every suggestion into account. The Umbro diamond
seems to be depicted in some form on every part of the kit. Next
time they should remember that people buy it because of the club
and not the brand. Bring back Puma, they managed to keep the design
simple yet effective yet their kits are imaginative and look great
as well (just look at all the world cup kits). So long, Paddy.

If
the boys are wearing it, i love it! who cares if its not THAT different,
if its got the royal blues crest on the front, its a masterpiece!
i no il b getting one for next season! Beth Price, N. Wales.

Glad
they have kept the white socks - that's important! However, I don't
like the yellow bit on the collar - it has no place on our Home
kit and reminds me of the Rugby League ONE2ONE shirt of 97-99. Can't
really see why we have to have a new kit every season (8 kits in
9 years now!) when the one this season and the 2005/6 one were perfectly
ok. If you could have the 2005'6 shirt with the 2006/7 shorts and
2007/8 socks you'd just about have the perfect kit! Karl
Masters. (04/05/07)

I
think the new kit's a load of shite!!! Apart from the neck it's
similar to last season's! I agree with everyone about Umbro designing
shitty kits for us & we should get rid of them. Can't recall
anyone else in the top 10 or even in the rest of the premiership
having Umbro as their manufacturer. England get all the better designs!!!
STEVIE P - KIRKBY...! (04/05/07)

It's
Royal Blue. I love it. Cookie (03/05/07)

I
think the new kit looks quite dated and i don't think ill be purchasing
the shower of shite. I don't like the bits under the arms at all
and the majority of it just looks taccy. Maybe we should get someone
better to manufacture the kit in future. Andrew Sperling.

I
think it's not that good. K Leadbetter. (03/05/07)
*
Predictable
and doesn't look different from any of the other last lot of kits
except for some frilly neck and what looks like some tribal pattern
under the arms, which actually would be better if they weren't there
so were back to last years. Ditch umbro there unstylish and not
a patch on nike or Adidas designs. Neil Roberts. Mold. (03/05/07)

Just
a quick one on our "new" kit! why have we gone down the
road of a whole new line every year? what happened to alternating
home and away strips every other year to give parents a break! No
doubt this is the beginning of three new strips every season is
becoming a farce! fair enough if we change sponsor or kit brand
but to just throw a bit of yellow piping on it and say "my
god look at the embroidery on the badge" doesn't cut the mustard
with me!
Yes
I'll go out and buy it cos as the big wigs know children are cruel
and I am not gonna have my lad called a tramp cos he is in last
years kit!.......... or will i? might build character? its ok he
gets enough character having to support this shambles we seem content
with playing for 5, 6, 7, position every year! that's another story.
Come on Everton lets lead the way and really start doing things
for the fans! we all know how much money you get from other avenues
lets give the supporters a break! Matt (lower Gwladys season
ticket) (03/05/07)
*
Not
for me mate - sorry don't like all the jazzy diamonds all over the
place, the underarms and sides looks like bloody zebra skin. If
you want retro then keep things simple. Like the keepers kit though
!!! Harvey Cullen (03/05/07)

What
a load of Crap. From what I can see the only change is a little
bit of Blue and White scramble effect under the arms. I would encourage
all Everton fans not to buy and donate the money to Cancer Research
in memory of A.B. JJB are a disgrace what are we doing with this
shower of crooks. Even if the owner does have the same surname as
me he is no relation if he did i would disown him. Sean
Whelan. (03/05/07)
