Your Views on The Kits See the New Kit 2002/2003 *love it! love it ! LOVE IT!! what an improvement on last years shitty shirt!!! Can we get one before the sponsors name spoils it????? Please????????? Barry. (09/07/02) *The New Kits Are Fab,What Makes It Good Is That Liverpool Can't Copy Because There Fans Can't Fit In TO Tight Tops Because Everyone In The Kop Is About 20 STONE. James (09/07/02) *The
new kits look top notch apart from one problem, they're not gunna do
scrawny bastards like me any favours.....Thank you Everton!! Apart from
that Good Stuff!! Rob. (09/07/02) *I think Gemmill completely wrecks the black kit the stupid cunt all the rest are fucking boss. Bob Hartley. (09/07/02) *I reckon the kits are proper sound. The best we've had for fuckin ages in fact, since the NEC kit in 94. tell you what though, Scot Gemmill looks like a twat - he fucks the black kit up a bit. John Nelson. (09/07/02) *dear BK I think the new kit's r pure and simple class new kit new team and we are the people's club. Anthony Parry. (09/07/02) *Typical
of us these days ! Only EFC. could launch a new kit after the season
has started. What that prick at the Daily Post (Capeling ) will make
of this is any ones guess. Any
way at least my season ticket arrived on time , that's an improvement
on last year ! And Moysey winding the shite up is an even bigger improvement
on Walter ,who only succeeded in winding us up !!!! *The new kits look great but are they still planning on having the Logo on the top of the sleeve to celebrate 100 seasons in top flight football? As this would only help in making the shirts 'collectors items' and therefore sell really well. Dan. (08/07/02) *SCOT GEMMIL MAKES THE END KIT LOOK LIKE CRAP THE SKINNY RUNT JUST DUSNT MAKE IT RIGHT BUT THE OTHER KITS LOOK SOUND. Shaunster. (08/07/02) *The
new kit is spot on – hope it is n’t spoilt by some crap sponsors name.
David McDonald. (08/07/02) *these
new kits are great and I think it makes a change having a black/white
kit. Nicolas Striker. (08/07/02) *I think we shud start our own designer company, the kits r superb.how bout Walter smith toilet role I no 40 000 people who'd buy it,this time next year well be millionaires.... fab kits tho. Leslie Ball. (08/07/02) *Why not try Dundee's new idea , a kit made for the 20,000 season Ticket holders ( or limiting it those who have held a season ticket for 3 years ) It has the names of all the holders on the shirt in small print , this kit only being available to the fans ( no doubt every person whose name is on it will purchase ) not the players and will have no sponsor on it !! Then the Kit worn by the players will be similar but with a sponsor , therefore cashing in on the deal made with Cream / T - mobile . Dave Everton Carse. (24/05/02) *I agree with the bloke who quoted " imagine a black Dunc running at you.... fucking hell! " the home kit is smart and so is the white one but the black one is something different and is steeped in tradition! spare a thought for the snappy twats wearing these that's deffo a bad idea puma! they and I will look like Mr. bleeding muscle loves the jobs you hate! sort the material out have a normal one for men and a clingy one for birds problem solved! dj wigan. (15/05/02) *We want the black kit, because it is different to every other kit we have ever had. Mad Dog. (15/05/02) *I
like the final design, however I do not think that there should be 100
years anywhere on the kit. Just the badge and kit sponsor. *The first designs for the new kit are by far the best as they have a retro style to them, which would be great for celebrating 100 years. Paul McCann. (15/05/02) *Does this mean we can give the existing home kit back to Leicester City now? I like the style and one-colour look of the grey but royal blue it has to be. Gareth John. (15/05/02 *I think Everton shud have the black and white 1 coz it is class and the blue 1 with the hundred years on it and the white 1 as a third kit. Westside. (15/05/02) *The
new kit designs look OK, but lets hope the board begin to listen more
to the fans and give us a ROYAL BLUE colour, plain and simple, not some
faded wash out colour. Its interesting to see how many different ideas
are spread about, but I can never see the point of fannying about with
it. Give us something plain and simple, classy and practical. Lets face
it the debacle of the 1997-1999 Yellow /White hoop kit, in denim blue,
not only made the team look shite, and lets face we where then!, but
also made sure the rest of us in the stands looked like ponces also.
So, for any budding kit designers, fair play, keep trying and remember
this- would you wear it? ( I never seen George Graham wearing the Yellow
/black Arsenal shirt in the 90's). Wev'e got some small consolation
to think of ' We could NEVER have looked any worse than the GREEN /WHITE
Quarter Check the red shite have worn... *White away kits are a waste of time because most teams you play that clash with the blue also clash with the white. Yellow is the way forward. PS it is the policy of Puma to keep home shirts for two years and away shirts for one. At £40 a pop I know which I would buy. Glen Wells. (02/05/02) *LOVE
THE BLACK KIT WITH THE WHITE TRIM . IT LOOKS SEXY!...NO I'M NOT GAY
OR A CLOSET NEWCASTLE UTD. FAN ! *I
think people are missing the point about the clingy kits. Sure some
fans will want to remove their ale guts but they are missing the point
that the kits will also be clinging to the female big titted blondes
so it evens out. It will be worth it if Mr Hedman and Mrs Graaf join
in the summer. If kopitism is a social disease, I am the condom! Stunning
woman! (02/05/02) *The new strips are class. James Roach. (02/05/02) *The
new kit looks good, but it would be a typical Everton financial desicion
to remove a sponsor. We are skint already and that would just give us
another unnessessary headache. There is no room in the modern game for
all this sentiment, its all about money and we havent got enough to
turn it down! Black looks good though! GBHammy. (02/05/02) *change the blue kit to the same style as the black and white kit. No white panels on the side of the shirt, and the crest wore just above the heart. If we can survive without a sponsors logo then that would be fine with me. Kelvin Davies. (02/05/02) *Re
white stripe down front , Oi NO!!!!!!. WE'VE GOT TO GET BACK TO THE
CLASSIC ROYAL BLUE. THE ONLY WHITE SHOULD BE ON THE COLLAR AND CUFFS,
NOWHERE ELSE . love the badge its classic! I like the new kit . Re sponsor
the money would be handy but the kit with a mention of the centenary
year would be a classic collectors item and we'd sell a lot. There should
be one for players- tighter fit, to prevent shirt pulling and one for
ale guts, with room to breathe. The kit that sells MUST be comfortable,
classic and without some unsightly logo on it advertising McDonalds,
Pepsi or some new Home Base chain . *I don't think we should have a sponsor on the shirts at all, just the badge and manufacturer's logo (if we have to). We should also go back to the more traditional Blue with White collar shirts. We could still have a team sponsor with their logo visible on everything else like now, but just not the shirt.Mark Parsons. (02/05/02) *I
think the black strip is really cool and a bit different for a change
!! Richard J Gregory. (02/05/02) *i
like the blue and yellow kit best and i like the kit with just the logo
from Sophie Haywood Evertonian.
(02/05/02) *I think the away one should be totaly black with a small everton logo,,, when everton had the knicknames the black die! and i think it should have nothing on it at all!!!!! the home one should be totally royal blue with the badge on!!!!! this will make people get the point that we are the only club to have reached 100 years!!! Everton 1888 (02/05/02) *Call
me supersticious if you like but I don't want us to EVER get relegated
and this is too much like tempting fate. *I
really like that black and white kit and the 100 years thing looks really
good. But we need a sponser 4 more money!!!!! *if
we have no sponser and the kit says 100 years..then next year the kit
will be out of date after 1 season and i cant afford to fork out another
wad of cash for my fashion obsessed kids....we have to get at least
2 years out of the kit..i say sponser. *Definitely
should have something to celebrate the ‘100 year record’ in topflight
football. Lets face it we’ve got Sweet FA else to be proud of at the
moment. Something short and sweet. Kirsty Mathieu. (02/05/02) *I think we should have a shirt sponsor and have something for 100 yars on the arm or abover the badge.Big Dunk.(02/05/02) *As
an ardent Evertonian (and somewhat of a big girl!), I look foward to
the time of the season when our beloved Blues are handed next season's
strips. *Let's
have a shirt free of advertisements for that's what a sponsor really
is. When they were first introduced they were supposed to be small and
unobtrusive. If we have to have advertisements and company symbols then
on the shorts. *The black one is great. Definitely ditch the sponsor and have the 100 years commemorated in some form; I'd like to see a small but distinctive "100 Years" in the centre of the shirt. Keep up the good work. Mark. (28/04/02) *With regards to the new strip, the home should be what it looks like 4 next year, with the black and white for the away, depicting the old dayz when we played in black and white. Then we should have the white shirt for playing in Europe. As for the logo, defintiely we should have the 100 Years logo on it, possibly for just the season if new sponsors can be found next year. As far as i know, Cream were going to sponsor as their execs r as fanatical about Everton as me and Big Bill (Kenwright). Peter. (28/04/02) *I
must say that I don't like the yellow kit very much although you did
come very close with the black one? Correct me if I wrong but wasn't
the very first kit that Everton Football Club ever wore black with a
scarlet sash? If memory serves me correctly (I wasn't there but as the
song goes "an if you know your history") and because we are
celebrating a WORLD RECORD and also a history that no other team can
come close to, I think it would be an honour to those who founded our
great club by making our new away kit for next season the same as the
one EVERTON FC first wore all them years ago. What do you Think??? As
far as a sponsor goes it would be great to think that we could be in
a situation were we don't have to spoil a shirt with some companies
name splashed all over it but we can't! we need the money so we have
to do it. Great team, Great Site, Great Team, Great site!! COYB Lukesdaddy.(28/04/02) *Bearing
in mind we´ve got virtually no cash in the kitty - how on earth
can we justify not getting a sponsor? it´s all very well celebrating
100 years in the top flight - but if we go down in the 101 st year -
we´ll all feel pretty sick! surely there´s enough room on
the broad chests of our fine players for both a 100 years emblem and
the Sprokett´s Codpieces corporate logo! many mickle maks a muckle!
(as David Moyes would tell you!) Nick West.
(28/04/02) *I like the idea for the 100 year logo, and i think the black and white kit would be good as our thied strip. Lee Philip. (28/04/02) *The badge does not go in the middle of the shirt. It goes on the left just above the heart. celebarting doesn't need to be there, just 100 years in teh top flight. Kenyon. (28/04/02) *As
romantic an idea "100 years: blank shirt" is, we can't afford
to be without a sponsor can we? baby blue.
(28/04/02) *I think that is a fantastic idea. We are the first club to reach this landmark so why shouldn't we shout about it. Everyone is so quick to mention the bad patch we've had, but forgets the fact that in the big scheme of things i.e 124 years we are still top of the all time table. It also has the advantage of winding the shite up!! Why not mention the peoples club. "The peoples club celebrating 100 years in top flight football" The all blue idea is great as well. Barcelona and Real have pride in their history and they choose not to taint the sacred shirt with a fuckin lager company or such like, I think we should do the same. Mark Warren. (24/04/02) *In response to the enquiries about what our colours should be then how about going back to our "black watch" days and having the all black kit with a crimson diagonal band across it. See whether the graphic artist can come up with a workable version of that and then we wouldn't need to tell people about our history we would be wearing it. Just a suggestion , I can take crimson or scarlet but not r*d. Lee. (24/04/02) *Hi Boys at Blue Kipper, First, great site, keep up the good work, we have to do our best to educate all the other dumb f##ks out there on how great it is to be a Blue! In my opinion the new kit should be plain royal blue shirt, with crest on, white shorts and white socks and no other shit!! Logo?, well, "100 years" sounds like the best option but no logo is making just a good statment as anything nowadays. All the best lads, Long live the Blues. Lincs Blue, Nezzy. (24/04/02) *I like the designs - especially the black one. I am curios though - how come the 2nd Blue kit has white under the arms... any white on the kit must go! Any idea when the new kits is on sale??? Kind regards, Duffy72. (24/04/02) *boss kits lads, the black looks fab, imagine a big black dunc running at you, fuckin hell rrrrrruuuuuuuunnnnnnn!!!!!!!!! Leslie. (24/04/02) *THE
KIT LOOKS GOOD , I LIKE THE IDEA OF NO SPONSER BECAUSE OF A 100 YEARS
IN *I
think we all know by now that this is not next seasons kit, as u you
just made it up by using the kit change on FIFA ISS. I think that the
no sponser idea for next season would be very good and that the club
would make plenty of money with the one off shirts. The kit you have
designed looks good, but hope FIFA dont find out or else you could be
in for some 'copy right' problems. *yeah i reckon that new kit is well nice! especially cos the home one is ALL blue, and the away one is pretty damn cool also! what cud b put across the front to symbolise the 100 years thing? any suggestions, hopefullys nothing too extravagant, just to let people know that WE'VE BEEN HERE A CENTURY!! up the Blues! Dan M (Chester Blue) (24/04/02) *
Lads, I agree
with Jonny. (18/04/02) female Evertonians in that tight Lycra, can't
wait, however when I see 'Fat Belly Kelly' striking a pose like Jim
Royle in is striped t-shirt I might ave me reservations - fat belly,
tight as fuck, sat in the boozer/chair scratching his arse - but fucking
funny to look at! keep up the great site, cheers Shayboy, Corsham.
(23/04/02) * I think the new home kit looks brill, but the away kit looks nicer. But i think that it shouldn't be lycra as it will be too klingy and will look stupid on big people, and it would be better if it was a loose shirt. Also i was wondering if the big gap of blue will have a number or something on it. Gleeson. (23/04/02) *
I don't know
where you have got your info from, but I think that its bull shit. The
pictures have obviously been taken from a computer game of some sort
and someone has just cut & pasted the Everton logo on it. Don't *
Just seen
the new kits for next season. I agree the home kit is a lot better than
many recent efforts but I think it would be real quality with white
collar & cuffs (a la Ball,Kendall,Harvey and/or Reidy,Brace,Tricky
Trev & *
Is this the
real reason why gazza left? the jiggerrabbit. (23/04/02) *
Lads - don't forget about the skinny blokes. There is nothing worse
than buying something "skin tight" that f**king hangs off
you!!!!! This kit is definitely not equal opportunities is it. Should
look good though as we fight our way through the Inter Toto!!!!
* Is this what it IS going to be like or are you just taking the Mickey. It looks quite good if its true but I'm not sure about it being made from Lycra. It sticks to the skin what is rhino going to look like in it. Are there any plans for a 3rd kit? Bill Smith. (18/04/02) * I think that the new kit is lush. Remember that fucking minging shirt we had to endure. That sky blue colour shirt with one 2 one stretched write across the front. At last a proper 'Everton' blue colour has arrived and I will be the first to buy it. Its about time we went back to tradition. The away shirt is pretty cool as well. Stuart Williams, Cardiff. (18/04/02) *
Just seen the new
kit for next season. Fuck me, how am I (and Rhino) meant to fit in to
one of those??? On the plus side, though, we'll be able to see every
curve and bump of the female Evertonians. See, every cloud, does have
a silver lining. Jonny. (18/04/02) *
When will Everton
introduce a traditional and all royal blue shirt instead of the recent
jigsaw efforts? Mike. (18/04/02) * Great to see we're going back to our traditional shirts etc. these are our REAL colours no silly bits. can't wait to get it, keep up the good work lads, brill site. Glento. (18/04/02) * Is it genuine though?...I hope not. I'll never get my lager belly and man-breasts in one of em. Woody (Deeside Blue) (18/04/02) * The new Puma Everton 2002/2003 kits look very skin tight & Italian, akin to the latest Kappa efforts. There is also a space~age design to them which looks like a cross between a Cyberman & Buck Rogers !!! Do the Home shirts come in long sleeves ? If so, one will be on it's way to the sunny Costa Blanca. Keep up the good work ~ an excellent & witty Blues WebSite !!! Nil Satis Nisi Optimum. Stewart L MacLaren. (18/04/02) *
I think the new kits
are great! I think Tommy Graveson will look the best in them! Cant wait
to see the fellas walkin into the pub lookin like Italianos. HAHA. Oh,
just a little note for Mike Stanley. HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE LOUNGE! Brilliant
site. Keep it goin. * I was just wondering if our new kit will have anything on it about our 100 years in the top flight. Paul. (18/04/02) * Is this definitely the new Everton kit coz if it is its horrid its nice but I don't like the clingy material. Westside. (18/04/02) * Just to say I think the new shirts look pretty good- especially back to our traditional all blue. Past few strips have seen all these mad white things appearin all over the shirt. Good to see someone has put a stop to it. Cheers.. P.S. not a pretty picture of all them beer bellys in Lycra! Hannah. (18/04/02) e-mail Blue Kipper with your views. |
