The only game from last weekend was the ladies first team who beat Bristol
Rovers 3-2 away to go 4th in the national premier league. Goalscorers
were Louise Worral, Chantelle Parry and Kelly McDougal. The Ladies have
drawn Langford in the fourth round of this years FA cup (unfortunately
Liverpool have already been knocked out of this competition !)
* Saturdays u12 'A' team
game against Liverpool 'B' in the Liverpool League at Heron Eccles was
called off, the girls are unbeaten so far this season having only dropped
4 points. In the Lancashire league on Sunday the girls entertained Preston
'B' at Bootle Stadium and won 13-0 with Chelsea Norris getting 4, Steph
Marsh 4, Lorna Smith 3 and Jenna Dooling 2 with Page Forster getting
special praise for her performance. The girls are unbeaten in this league
as well and top the table.

Everton u14's 4 v 0 Burnley u14's.
The Blues travelled to Burnley to play their last game of 2003 against
the Clarets and it was well worth the travelling. The young Blues put
on their best team performance of the season so far. They outplayed
a very good Burnley side in every department, playing the ball around
the pitch with confidence and style. Two of the goals where very pleasing
as they started with the keeper and ended up in the Burnley net. It
was good to see the players fighting for every ball and covering for
each other. When Burnley did get into the Blues box the defence and
both keepers dealt with any threats. Everton always looked in control
of the game and could have scored a bag full of goals if the Burnley
keeper had not been on top of her game. Goals came from Franny Williams
2, Eve McNally, and Stacey McMahon. Picking a Girl of the Game was very
difficult for Andy as all 16 players played the best he has seen, however
Lauren Hazard was nominated for her work rate.It was nice to see Katie
Dwyer back from her injury. The girls are now second in the league.
