Steve McClaren the forgotten man in England returns centre stage against the Blues tomorrow as his Wolfsburg side take on the Mighty's in a pre season friendly. McClaren left for pastures new after his disastrous spell in charge of England culminated in us not making the last 16 of Euro 2008. Steve pissed off before he was lynched and rebuilt his career in Holland winning the Dutch title with FC Twente. The Bundesliga has now come calling, and what an opener he has in a fortnight when Wolfsburg takes on Bayern Munich in their league opener. Before that Steve will have to pit his wits against Moyesy as the Blues seek to carry on their impressive pre season form. Wolfsburg finished like the Blues eight in their domestic Division last season a good twenty points behind Champions Bayern Munich. On Tuesday his German outfit were turned over 2-1 by Napoli from Serie A, and Steve is looking forward to facing the Blues. Steve said: "I am looking forward to facing Everton."
