The Blues flew off to Germany today to round off their fantastic pre season preparations.
Three wins on the spin in Oz, have been followed by wins at Preston, Norwich and at home to CD Everton.
Tomorrow they face their toughest task when they face Wolfsburg of the Bundesliga, managed now by the man with the brolley, remember him. Well if you don't Steve McLaren is once again hot property after guiding FC Twente to the Dutch title.
Well enough tittle tattle about them, Moyesy has flown out with a fully fit squad, the only absentee being Jonny Heitinga who after his World Cup exploits is still a week or two behind everyone.
The good news is that The Yak is fit and has flown and will play some part in the match after sitting out Wednesday's comprehensive win over the Chileans.
Screech will be hoping to get more match miles under his belt as he returns from long term injury.
Another welcome name on the Squuuuad sheet is that of Phil Jagielka. He came through unscathed after our 2-0 victory over CD Everton on Wednesday, and with his name on the team sheet again, he was quick to dispel any rumours that his days were numbered due to injury.
This is the Blues last friendly before the real stuff starts next week away to Blackburn, shit I can't wait.
Jag said: "There are always going to be rumours. I didn't play at Norwich and I just needed a couple of days off my feet.
I feel good again and hopefully I'll get a bit of game time over in Germany and then prepare for the season.
Pretty much every pre-season game I played was 90 minutes so I just needed to back off for a couple of days.
