Happy Christmas Everybody
Happy Christmas Everybody

The Blues recorded their first win in seven Premiership matches at their favourite ground that is Eastlands.

Goals from who else but Tiny Tim, and another from Bainsey sealed all three points for the Blues.

It was tough at the end as Big Vic saw red, but the Blues hung on to make Moyesy's and every Toffeeman and Ladies Christmas.

Moyesy said: "There was great determination and the players did the Club proud.

I thought to come here and win without Steven Pienaar and Mikel Arteta, two very influential players was excellent. The boys went out and got a great result."

I thought it was a bit harsh, the first booking on Victor.

We were under pressure even with eleven men because they played better than they did last year.

We found it hard to cope with Silva, he gave them more passes. We knew it would happen but we found it hard to cope.

It was a tough game and in the end I am really pleased with the three points.

It wasn't just a victory, we beat a team who are expecting to be Premier League champs."

re: Glen Winsford "Everton would be unbeatable if they had such a lovely stadium to play in every week" We have the best stadium in the country it may be old, it may be shaky, have a few blind spots but No ground in Britain is better than ours on match day.. and besides that having that brand New ground didn't help City last night did it? Tip for you all, whenever Everton are the underdogs pop your £10 on them to win.

Great result lets push on from here and go on a big run unbeaten. But just goes to show that you get the same 3 pts for beating mega rich Sitteh and the sh**e Manure as you get for beating Wolves, Birmingham, West Brom and the Stoke's and Sunderland's of this world, so lets be more clinical and not just think its a matter of turning up to beat these teams. A little more self belief please and please, please, please can we give Beckford a run in the 2nd half of the season he has the potential we

Hard earned 3 points, still have to sort out up front. Saha came on and did a good job holding it up, thought Distan and Jags where outstanding, hope we can move up now with the help of Landon. Merry Christmas to all Toffees,

GET IN THERE! for all the money they have and Sky talking up their chance of going top for Christmas, our boys certainly showed true grit and determination. Just shows you get two chances and score yet at home we get a bagfull and can't put them away. Thought the ref was (as usual) rubbish - they were going into our boys for most of the game and got away with it, yet breath on them and it's a free-kick. He ruined the game by sending Victor off.
