I thought Duffy was the best of the back four, apart from a couple of lose passes he had an excellent game. Nice to see one of our players doing a bit of talking on the pitch as well. It is important to note that he brings an added strength up front for corners. For me he looks to be the most dangerous defender we have had in this capacity since Dave Watson. Big test coming up for him hope he does well.

Thought Strac deserved more than 7, he ran his heart out, held the ball up well and his link up play was far better than we've seen from Saha or Anichebe this season. Great to see him score and what it meant to him. Fellaini & Donovan were class.

Good result thought Cahill looked like he was comeing back to his best, still need a goal scorer though, lots of chances last night. Why bring Anichbe on as a sub ahead of Vellios??. Duffy had a very good game again looks a great prospect. Felliani defo MOM

Straq may not be the best player but has the best work ethic. Ran his socks off and cried when scored. He showd passion played like his life depended on the game. Give him more game time made up he scored

Totally agree, but i thought Maybe Gueye should of got more recognition as although he didn't play great he did show some good technical ability, he just needs a bit more confidence and Straq was very solid, won the ball made runs and layed it off. Felli was in his own class t'night. OUTSTANDING!!

Thought straq deserved more than a 7, yeah his touch was a bit off on a couple of occasions but ran his heart out and his header was class. Also think a 7 for baines is generous in comparison with his usually high standards

Though Strac deserved better marks than Cahill, not just for the goal, he held up the ball well today and brought other players into the game.

Donovan put two great crosses to assist the goals but a lot of his passing and first touch was very poor today but i am happy with result and our control over the game as a whole.
