Denis was man of the match hands down and hopefully he gets the chance to continue.

They were all amazing, Stracqualursi was a 9 for me ran he socks off all game think we have got another no.9 if kenright can pull some money out of his sock. For me hibbo was the best player on the pitch, no matter how much stick he gets we always get 110% out of him no matter... trueblue

Can't argue with Hibbo as top man but think Denis deserves a 9 too. Tiny Tim probably worth an 8, Gibson a 7 and Drenthe 5.

For me Denis starman, followed by Fellaini. Cahill loking more like his old self now he has someone to share the workload. Kipper marks up Hibbo and down Neville on too consistent a basis for it to be chance.

Tony Hibbert's attitude epitimised everything that is great about this club. Tony is due his testimonial soon and I would love to see a full house to show appreciation to a hard working, honest and loyal true blue. Well done Hibbo, well worth the man of the match.

You may disagree but FELLI is our key player, our engine, last night he broke up the play from City and looked for the pass, when he gets injured we are in the shit because we have no one like him in midfield, a class midfielder to replace Arteta an absolute must in the summer Davie !
Hibbo played very well, deserves to be recognised as a totally dependable player , never lets you down and gives his all, and i notice that Johnny is back in the fold, he got so much flak before but he was in midfield, his role is centre back that where he plays for the worldcup runners up,and that is why he is playing so well now.
The Count held up the ball so well with clever lay offs, whereas Saha was always losing possesion, that is the difference, Denis buys us a little time, brings other players in and works so hard, keep getting behind him, he deserves nothing less.
Drenthe ? still not sure about this loose cannon, great talent but may make Moyes go bald ! but players like him are rare and can get you a goal out of nothing, sobeit last night, so when he settles down he could be very special.
Gibson, well he could be another Carsley, sitting in front of the back four and picking the passes, rather than the usual defender hoof ! ! but i agree prior to the goal only average but he has had little first team football so he will get better and remember the best thing about him is he is only 24 ! !
With the signings we have made i think we only two player off being really good, ie a rightback if Seamus is not to be there, and a partner for Felli if Rodwell does not come thru, and Barkley is still learning, but theres alot of potential excitement for us blues.
Takeover next lads !

Think the ratings are pretty much spot on. Darren Gibson had a pretty poor game besides the goal. Thought Drenthe looked for free kicks so often to the point that it hurt our performance. Back line was solid, Stracqualursi ran his socks off, Fellaini was there each time we needed him, put in some vital challenges.

Great performance yesterday. The spine was awesome in Johnny and Hibbert, Felli and Denis! Good positive performance! Long may it continue! COYB FTRS!

Heitinga was imense last night best game in a blue shirt. Felliani more a 6 than an 8, and Dennis deserves an 8 ran his socks off. What is Drente all about achieves not a lot. Cahill seems to have got his hunger back and returning to form.Any ideas what the idiot at the Park End was trying to achieve?.

You have had a mare!! Has to be 8's across the board apart from Royston - 7, Hibbo -9, and MOM Denis (9) - his energy gave the team the belief that someone upfront could relieve the pressure - good riddance Saha you idle pompous git!
