Sunderland may have to make changes themselves as they travel down to Goodison. Lee Cattermole, Phil Bardsley and Nicklas Bendtner are all doubts and will will have late fitness tests.
They will want to make up for the Quarter Final defeat, so Everton can expect a tough game.
Sunderland centre half Michael Turner said: "I think there is a sense of putting the record straight against Everton.
"We were gutted with the way we played in the replay, but we can take confidence from the way we played in the first game at Goodison and hopefully put a few wrongs right.
