I thought we had played well enough to be a goal up at half-time. We always knew Liverpool would come out, they were a goal down in a semi-final, so they were always going to but I thought we had weathered it and were just beginning to get back in the game but obviously we made the mistake and it gave Liverpool more impetus.

There was very little between the teams. It was mistakes that changed the day. The second one as well, it is a poor, poor decision and because of that we concede the goal. Up to that the game had been very tight and there was very little between the teams. There were defining moments and they were there for all to see. They had the chance when Carroll should score at the back post but on the whole when they put the ball up to Carroll and Suarez we did well and were on top of that.

Above them in the league, playing well, found a goal-scorer, nearly everybody available. The others in apparent disarray. Seriously, since when has that ever been a recipe for an Everton win?! Beware what we wish for in terms of Moyes out...if he walks in the Summer we could end up with some non-entity who could not squeeze any more funds from this regime either & shudder to think where we'd end up...

Moyes is an absolute disgrace He again fails to accept any responsibility for his poor poor performance. It's pretty obvious now he couldn't manage to put 6 eggs in an egg box

All the reports leading up to the game were about Liverpool being in turmoil and out of form, they turn up totally united and looking totally up for the job in hand, we on the other hand, the team in form and with the so called great team spirit end up kicking Drenth out over an argument for turning up late for training which surely must unsettled the preparations, i don't care who was to blame it should have been put to bed there and then because everyone knows Drenthe on the bench or starting would against a dodgy Liverpool defence and a rookie keeper should of been a must. As far as i'm concerned even in the first half we looked nervey and disjointed, and as for the second half well to be honest when they equalised i turned the tele off and carried on with my day because i knew there and then it was over, They wanted it more and they got it. I felt sorry for all the blues sitting infront of that and then the long journey home, Gutted but not surprised at all which sums Everton up AGAIN!

I have said many times about Moyes' tactics... Sorry but we will never win a trophy with the way things are right now, full stop. We might get a new owner or substantial investment but I honestly don't think Davy would know how to use the new players that come in. I think we have a great squad and with a positive manger could go far...I have stuck by DM for so long, believing that once he got a decent squad together we could acheive but I think some fellow blues I know are right..he just hasn't got a tactical brain or balls

Moyes got it wrong, when they equalised and coleman had not been brought on, should have brough Victor on. Coleman (who is not match fit) does not look like he knows how to play football at the moment yet alone infulence a big game. This is without mentioning the fact we should have gone for it in the second half and not sat back. It is up to the coaching staff to get the players in the right mind set - they bootled it.

Players just bottled it big time . They didn't have the courage to get on the ball and pass it , it was just big hoof. The midfield 4 were useless , it was the worst game I've seen from both Fellaini and Gibson - Spearing just outpassed them. It was all too much for poor Magaye .It had nothing to do with Moyes tactics or instructions , the players were hiding all over the place. As for Drenthe ship him out tomorrow, a waster if there ever was one.

Not sure I agree that Liverpool are as bad as people are saying here but we should have done better, second-half was poor, not just because of Distin. Often they seem to win against us with cheating but we noticeably withered in the second half and, sorry to say, they deserved it. Not convinced on Moyes-out, but we need to find more fight in these games, its not a question of money.

Just heard in sky that drenthe was dropped for disciplinary reasons, get rid along with the useless Coleman not even good for the championship. Just renewed my season ticket for the 35th year on the bounce, why do I and thousands of others do it. They build you up and then you come right back down to earth with an almighty bump. I hate them as much as I love them for the heartache they give you. Why do we never turn up against the shite. Moyes has to look at himself and ask what were his tactics. We were awful, they had a rookie keeper, didn't have a cross or a save to deal with. GUTTED

Buzz made one helluva fuckin howler, but the real mistakes after the break were made in midfield..They stood off and allowed the shite room to play instead of getting in their ugly faces..Look at the games we've won against the likes of City, Chelski, Tottingham, and the free passing Swans..We got at them and disrupted their play..We missed Peanuts craft because he was cup-tied which left us with the ineffectual Maggie..What's is going on with Drenthe?? He'd have scared their defence shitless..Getting beat by the shite is one thing, but bending over and asking them to fuck us is unacceptable!!!....

We needed pace on that pitch! a Landon or Drente type player either would have tore Agger to pieces! My lowest point was queuing up on the steps trying to get out the stadium Listening to the shite sing...!!! its the lowest I've felt in a long time!! But we need to build on this season now, we need a little bit of cash , some early signings in the summer, so we can hit the ground running next season, if that means loosing one of our star players , so be it, we'll jst make another two, As long as Bill puts his hand in his pocket & the blue union keep out, every thing will be sound! if this doesn't happen now, it will never happen & we will become a Sheff Wed type club

Moyes Must Go! when it comes to Liverpool games he just roles over for them! WTF!? And afterwards talking like he was at a different match is insulting the Evertonians Worldwide ! Sorry but even the diehard Moyes faithful must agree with me on this one! We deserve better than to sit on a one goal lead and let the shite walk all over us! Moyes has many great qualities but football tactics isn't one of them as he hasn't the right temperament for it. Sorry but the Gaff owns this one! And he will continue to do so!

82% possession for the shite against 12% for us, in the first ten minutes of the second half. Okay, it was a bad mistake, but from what I saw there was no pattern of play from Everton, and I would like to know what Moyes said at half time? I wouldn't care but we have the players to beat them. It had to be Moyes tactics.....again!

Nothing mentioned about his inept tactics, sitting on a 1-0 lead, as he said we tried to see out the game after 30 minutes of being in the lead ! !....... Left Jelavic isolated in the 2nd half i bet the Liverpool defence couldnt believe their luck, we just left them alone, their keeper was never tested with a long range shot. Moyes in his ineptitude fumbled with Felliani switching positions with Cahill, Hibbo almost came on, i suppose so Neville could go into midfield to hang on to our lead. Never a thought of getting a 2nd goal, and bringing on the Count or in fact Vic until 86 minutes when we were 2-1 down, ok the players made some mistakes but not as many as the Manager, braveheart you are not and will never be, a clueless coward you have disgusted me today.

I dont know what game David was watching but Liverpool could have scored 3 or 4 goals in the second half. I thought Jelavic was starman because he always looked comfortable on the ball , but it was criminal that we didnt support him as liverpool where there for the taking, particularly when they they went a goal down through a nervy mistake, our disappointment is is always worse when we know if we had taken the game to them we would have shown some belief in our abilities instead of stupidly shutting up shop.I can only hope David learns from his mistakes as he will not win anything unless he shows more courage and gives it a go.

Behave yourself Moyes. Playing 4-6-0 relies on mistakes by the opposition. First 2 goals were mistakes and cancel each other out, so don't mention one as bad fortune and ignore the other as good. Crap tactics, no heart. Embarrassed and dreading Monday. Thanks for nothing - exactly what you've given.

No matter how I look at it, i feel angry, hurt and disappointed. Why did we not come out in the second half like WE were one nil down? We should have come out looking for the ball to ram it down their throats. We were far too negative and the pressure told. A terrible, terrible shame. I look at both squad sheets and I can't help asking Why did this happen again? Far two negative when we had them by the throat. Why? Why?
