Anybody who's watching us now, we're purring. We played some top stuff today and I think we've been playing in that fashion for the last few months. It was really good to watch.

I really just wanted to finish as high up the table as we possibly could. It didn't really bother me who we'd finish above, because I don't think you can really celebrate finishing seventh.

If we'd finished seventh and got into Europe, that may have been something to shout about. But from where we were in October-November time, the teams we've had to overtake and the points we were behind, it's been a brilliant achievement by the players to come back from so far away.

What we always try and do is build on it and see if we can start the season better.

I would hope that people would see that we're trying to progress again - we've tried to play better, we've tried to get better players in, we're trying to improve all the time.

I agree with stemac1878, if ww keep this same squad (inc pienaar), rodwell gets fully fit and barkley progresses as he should we are much stronger then newcastle and as good as tottenham......... lets hope we can just have a decent start!!!

We've finally got what we've needed for donkey's years, a 20 goal a season striker. That would paper over quite a few cracks in most teams. Though we need cover for Jelly, if he gets crocked we're back to square one with Victor or Tim up there. Peanuts, Dempsey, Donovan and a young striker in, someone like Rhodes, would do for me. 'All' we need to do is raise about £15m to £20m and keep hold of all the crown jewels

Sell Cahill (no good if he aint scoring), sell Rodwell and Anichebe (too many injuries). Buy Peanuts, right winger, creative midfielder and another striker. Job done... top 6 finish.

I agree with Aide, but rather than an attacking midfielder, I reckon we need to get more of a playmaker in for centre-mid to play alongside Gibbo. Fellaini's been top class when he's been playin just behind Jelly so I'd say that that position's sorted! So yeah, a pacey right-mid, a playmaker and obviously get Pienaar back permanently for next season Moysie and we should be laughin all the way to Europe! (touch wood!)

With Pienaar signed up we could push for top 4 next year on this form. Especially with Barkley coming through, Rodwell coming back (love him or hate him- he's a 10mill+ rated youngster) and a couple of new boys. Just need that elusive strong start next season

Aide's right! If Moyes points out the prospect of Europe to blue bill as an Evertonian he should throw his cheque book at Moyes. All Moyes needs to do is to asure bill that what money he puts in durring summer, he will make back in visits round Europe and another strong cup run and even a win.

Spot on Aide! We are close, like we have been for a few years now, to getting a really good team together. Just a tweak here and there and we will have a real chance of breaking into the top places. It just needs that little bit of funding although obviously that is the hard part! Keep your fingers crossed.

A superb performance and some lovely intricate play and movement. Our midfield could become the 'Bermuda Triangle" for the opposition, as their player can get lost in it. I think Moyes will fight to the death to keep the special key players he has, and may just make two signings in his usual meticulous way and bring in a right sided player and an attacking midfielder to replace Arteta, then watch us fly A great end to the season. Enjoy the summer my fellow bluenoses Onwards and Upwards THE BLUES

IF only the board had as much faith in the team as the fans and Manager... We'd be routing for Bayern Munich instead of the Spurs fans!

With the boards backing for once in a very long time next season, just a little bit of help, we could build and make up a team capable of starting well and challenging for Europe!. We have the core of a good side and with the additions of a right winger and an attacking midfielder we could do well, barring we have luck with injuries and suspensions. We could easily go do a Newcastle or better IMO next season with the right buys into the team and Moyesy really needs to address this with Kenwright when they have there "chat" in the coming weeks!.
