Should Johnny Play?
Should Johnny Play?

It looks likely that Jela will miss the trip to Swansea after injuring his knee against Newcastle. That gives David Moyes a problem up front. Does he go with Victor up or maybe Super Kev up there on his own?

I have a feeling that both lads will play and that will mean Felli will play in the deeper role probably alongside Ossie.

I genuinally think Phil Nev will be rested. He was poor against Newcastle and we can't afford to be lightweight in the middle of the park.wans last season

I know many Evertonians like Felli further forward but at the moment I don't this we have much choice. Moyesy could gamble and put Johnny or Jags in the deeper midfield role but I'm not too sure.

Anyway confidence should be high. We are playing some great stuff and the fact that we done the double over the Swans last season will not do us any harm.

Two of our lads think so

Felli said: "That is a tough game. Swansea were a revelation last season and played good football.

"We beat them twice and that will give us extra confidence for the game, but it is a new season, they have a new manager and some new players. It will be difficult but we will be looking to win the game."

Bainsey said: "It will be a tough game down there as Swansea are a good team and have started the season quite well.

"They lost their last game so they will be desperate to bounce back, especially being at home. But we did well down there last season and will hope to do so again."

Everton from: Howard, Hibbert, Heitinga, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Neville, Pienaar, Fellaini, Osman, Naismith, Jelavic, Mirallas, Mucha, Francisco, Gueye, Vellios, Anichebe, Duffy, McAleny, Coleman, Oviedo.

Kipper's starting XI: Tim, Hibbo, Jags, Sylvain, Bainsey, Nace, Felli, Ossie, Peanuts, Super Kev and Big Vic

Who would you have starting?

Jags for some reason as been very shaky in defence, will someone please tell him that he cannot pass the ball to save his life, against swansea I don't think one of his up field passes went to an everton player, I like coleman but he seems to have gone backward and is not progressing as i thought he would, moyes should let him play at right back instead of trying to make him a mid field player

Best defenders in the land - can i remind you that our defenders looked like chumps when newcastle put br on the other night - he made our boys look complete chumps. 2 out of 4 are now well past their best.

i agree with bluekipper , fellaini is best in the middle using him up front is a waste we use him as a bettering ram n lump balls up to him (jags on monday) this makes up play rubbish. for me there is an obvious team that should play & fellain should always be in the middle why play the best defender in the prem up front its a joke. Howard , hibbo distin hetinga baines - pienaar osan fellaini oviedo (if he can play) naismith mirellas . Why play people out of position when we dont have to . Big Vic is poor he should never play, nev is poor he should only play at right back , to you people saying put hetinga in the middle , i ask why ??

I'm confident with anichebe stepping in, i have a feeling this is the season for him, our second best strike of 2012 by miles, always get us the points. come on big vic!

#2, #3 - Are you guys for real?? #2 Moving the best left back in the premiership out of position to then move Pienaar out of position too? What are you thinking? That would just ruin the formation we have worked on for so long. Its only recently we are actually playing a 4-4-1-1 and not the 4-5---------1 (up on his own, no support formation) #3 Play Oviedo when the lad hasn't even tasted premiership football. What are you expecting? You obviously don't know Everton or David Moyes! We all know he will more than likely play the same team with Anichebe leading the line and why not? He played and put himself about on Monday, scored a great goal and knows he'll be straight out when Jelavic is back if he doesn't perform. We have slated Victor in the past including myself but give him his chance and see how he does, I can't see anyone else about who can play loan striker unless Fellaini it top man and maybe Naismith/Mirallas off of him.

We played some bad football the start of last season with Jags very poor And when Johnny played we played our best football and he was our star man , Our defence was poor the last 2 game's we need a change ,put jags in front of the back four as sweeper ,we will play one up front against the swans that's a nap

I really hope Ossie doesn't start but I think its invitable at this stage. He only shows up when we are on top of the opposition. Should be Howard, Baines, Jags, Distin, Hibbo, Heitinga, Felli, Pienaar, Mirallas, Naismith and Anichebe.

I wouldn't play Anichebe. OK he scored a goal but doesnt offer enough. We need to paly football against Swansea so for me leave him out. I'd play: Howard Hibbo Jags Distin Baines Naismith Osman Fellaini Oviedo Pienaar Mirallas

Howard Hibbert Jags Johnny Robocop(leftback) Naismith Felli Ossie Baines mirellas Peanuts I would take Neville but only to drive the coach. Johnny has to play. Baines up to left of midfield pushing peanuts up top.

Get Heitinga in the team. These last two league games, we've looked decidedly shaky in defence. Either of them could be dropped for me, but I'd probably choose Distin and Heitinga to start on Saturday.
