David Moyes went very attack minded with his team selection. Big Vic was given the opportunity to play alongside Jela. This left Super Kev on the right.

Sylvain got the nod over Johnny at the back. The rest of the team had a similar look about it. Again the bench was looking very strong full of internationals. Tommy Hitz, Johnny, Maggie, Jan, Duffers, Nace and Bryan Oviedo all looking to get on.

Everton got off to the worse possible start going one down after just 2 minutes. It was from our corner that was cleared. Phil Neville lost possession to Hoilett who out ran our skipper to the edge of the box. He let fly the ball deflected off Bainsey into the net. Tim had no chance. What a shit start.

Everton had a strange set up with Kev on the left and Vic on the right. Peanuts was playing in the middle of the park with Ossie and Phil playing a bit deeper.

Everton's first effort was a Jela free kick after Peanuts was felled. His effort was on target but was well saved

As the half went on Moyesy changed it round. Peanuts went onto the left, Vic on the right and Super Kev supported Jela.

Everton got back into the game with a head from Sylvain. It was a free kick on the right that was flung over by Peanuts straight on the noggin of Buzz whose header hit the post and bounced onto the back of the goalie into the net. We needed that.

The next attack was a cast iron pen on Jela. He was cleared tripped by Bosingwa, but the idiotic ref waved play on. The ball ended up going for a corner. From the corner Jags headed against the bar. A serious let off for QPR.

The half continued end to be end to end stuff and Everton were certainly in a tough game. By the way Everton's goal was given as a Julio Cesar own goal.

Half Time QPR 1 Everton 1

Everton made an early change in the second half when Steven Naismith came on for Victor. The set up looked a lot more comfortable.

We were dealt a serious blow on the hour when Steven Pienaar was sent off for a second booking. He was booked early in the half and deservedly so. The second one looked harsh but Peanuts must have known he had to be careful. Minutes before he had fouled a hoop with an aerial challenge. Bad news that Peanuts will miss the game next week against the redshite.

Super Kev had a goal bound effort blocked for a corner. From the resulting corner Sylvain headed back across the goal for Jags to have a point blank header somehow saved by Cesar.

The last 20 minutes QPR were the team that forcing the issue. Tim Howard made a few decent saves and the two lads at the back were throwing their bodies on the line with last ditch blocks.

In the last ten minutes David Moyes showed his intentions when Johnny came on for Jela.

Everton kept QPR at bay and held on for the draw. I feel it was another two points dropped but when you play the last 30 minutes with ten men maybe should be happy with a point.

Jags get my vote for the bluekipper star man. He was absolutely awesome from start to finish.

Anyone know what the score would have been had Jags not been on the pitch? And this s a game against the bottom of the league team! Honeymoon over kids! But it could be back on in January if Moyes gets the nod to get his spending spree on! Phil was Abysmal and played an intricate part in the 1st goal! Surely even Junior is a better choice in midfield! When we took off Vick for Nace, we had half a midfield again! Nace made a massive difference! WTF didn't we start him? If we start the next game with our last starting line up, I just might cry!

its not a bad spell... 2 key midfielders are out..thats all...was baffled as to why Vic was on the wing and Piennar not in front of Baines.. we wound up with 3 players out of position, think the only blip was DM's but he's allowed one or 2.

Too much tinkering with Pienaar, Miralles and Vic all played out of their best roles, with this the team did really know what/who was doing what. As for the comment on Naismith, i thought he was everywhere and covering alot of ground and putting in a good shift, he will be a star and i stand by that. As for Jags, imense, he does what it says on the tin"defend"

To be honest I expected it, with Fellaini and Gibson not playing. Now Peanuts is banned for the Derby we'll be without our midfield for that game too. I hope we can weather this period, it was inevitable sooner or later.

Lot of negativity in the comments so I will look at the positives, we were poor yesterday in comparison to recent games but we have a point in the bag. Playing poorly and not losing is a good sign and how important will that point be at the end of the season?

That has got to be the last time that Neville plays in CM he was shite again and that is putting it nicely Coleman Osman Neville are not prem players yes we are fourth but we can all see that these players are holding us back we need at least two more midfielders yes the ref was shite but we should be use to that by now FFS we are going to get beat by them again they do this to us every year dont think my heart can take much more

We've now dropped six points. Two to Newcastle, two to Wigan and now two to QPR, all of them gobshite clubs this team should be bladdering all over the park by at least two goals. Now injuries and cards are beginning to take affect it looks like the run is petering out the way we feared it might. I'm going out to get pissed and dull the pain.

Here we go one game where we do not play the best football that we know we are capable of and the Statlers and Waldorfs all come out with the doom and gloom. Yes Piennar was a fool but we all get the blue mist from time to time. Look QPR and the money they have spent with Hughes in charge were going to come good at some stage and it was really always going to be us . Look we ARE FOURTH IN THE PREM enjoy it and do not be so blinkered and kopite to think it is our divine right to be there.

Cannot for the life of me understand why Moyes split Baines and Pienaar up for first 30mins, the most lethal left wing attack in the Premiership. Pienaar is a bloody fool, he was sent off for persistent fouling literally after 2 mins of being warned about it. This will mean Gibson, Fellaini and Pienaar all out next week as I cant see how Moyes can play either Gibbo or Felli after 6 and 3 weeks out respectively.

Anichebe isn't good enough - Coleman crap, Naismith shouldn't even be on the bench. Jags was different class!

I couldn't go through another game like that again.Too many long balls ,last ditch blocks. We played are best football when we went a man down. And should have scored on our counter attacks. Let's hope for better next Sunday.COYB

I said 2 weeks ago that we have got the worst central midfield in the league. Nothing i saw today alters that. The bottom team had a better pairing than we had. Twice this season we have had John Moss in charge.Twice this season he has done us down. Pienaar was caught by the QPR player for his second booking and Moss couldnt wait to produce the yellow and red.

I found that hard to swallow. It is apparent to all we are woeful in the centre midfield. We should sell Neville, anichebe, heitinga in January and get a centre mid to build off - we need a makele, yaya toure, iniesta-type who breaks down their attack and starts ours... Know cash is short but nev, Johnny and vices wages will free the cash.
