A strong Everton second string thumped Blackpool 5-0 today at Finch Farm. As reported earlier today, Rodders made his comeback and Moyesy told Stubbsey to give him just under an hour which he came through unscathed.
Also on the return from injury was Big Vic who came on for the last twenty or so minutes.
Goals from Becks, Hope Akpan, Maggie, and two from Jose Baxter gave the Blues victory. Here is hoping for a repeat of that come Saturday.
Jack Rodwell starts his first game back from injury after limping off against Villa back in August.
Jack will line up from the Everton Reseves against Blackpool today along with Jermaine Beckford and Gueye. Big Vic will be on the bench. The game will be behind closed doors at Finch Farm.
