Everton Ladies followed the path of the lads when they crashed out of this seasons FA Cup at the fifth round stage.
Unlike the lads though who were humbled by Championship Reading, our Girls went out to the top team in the country in Arsenal 2-0 at Marines College Road Stadium.
Arsenal gained revenge on Everton for the defeat they suffered in last season's FA Cup Final at the hands of Everton with goals from Rachel Yankey and Katie Chapman.
The Blues played with determination and spirit but Arsenal were just too good for them on the day, and they now progress to the Quarter Finals.
The Blues will have to put with their FA Cup disappointment behind them quickly, as they face Germany's FCR 2001 Duisburg at the Halton Stadium, in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League, kick off 7pm this coming Thursday.
