Everton Ladies made it five wins out of 5 games as they beat previously unbeaten league leaders Birmingham 3-2. The win takes The Toffees up to 3rd in The FA WSL.
A late screamer from Amy Kane gave Mo Marley's side all three points and Everton now have a chance to mount a late charge for title glory.
Birmingham were on top in the first half and took a deserved lead through Emily Westwood, but Everton rallied at the end of the half and were unlucky on a few occasions not to level the score.
This all changed in the second half with two quick goals from Natasha Dowie to give Everton a 2-1 lead. Just minutes after Everton had taken the lead Rachel Williams grabbed an equaliser for Birmingham, who looked to have maintained their unbeaten record, but Amy had the final say with five minutes from time.
Everton are at home to Lincoln at Marine on Sunday.
