Steven Pienaar has admitted that he could yet stay at Tottenham Hotspur if the new manager assures him that he will be part of his first team plans.
Peanuts was brought to White Hart Lane by Hawwy Wedknapp but struggled to make an impact in the first team and was eventually loaned back to Everton where as we know he was a great success last season.
There has been talk that Nuts would look to seal a permanent move back to Everton, but he has now revealed that he could yet have a future in north London.
Peanuts said: 'I'll wait and see who is appointed at Spurs. I need to know if I'll still be used.'
Peanuts still has a contract until the end of the 2012/13 season.
As of yet there has been no official announcement about who will be the new Tottenham manager, but reports seem to suggest that Andre Villas-Boas is the favourite to succeed Redknapp and there could be an announcement on Tuesday afternoon.
Let's hope that AVB does not fancy Peanuts in his team.
