Everton legend and Youth Coach Kevin Sheedy is very optimistic about the future for Everton given the strength of the Club's Academy.
We have seen Our Jack, Young Ross and Shane Duffy breakthrough and we have four out of the squad of 18 out in Estonia with England U19's. So it is looking rosy.
Sheeds said: 'We are hopeful.'
'We've had some good players come through recently and we've got some good players with potential and we work as hard as we can with the players that we've got. And we're obviously striving to improve the players that we can bring in and get through into the reserve group and, ultimately, the first team.'
'It's great for them (in Austria). It's a really nice training camp, as good as I've been involved with, and they should really take it all in. They're eating with the first team, they're mixing with the first team, seeing what they do, seeing how they behave and it's great they're in that same environment.'
'It's a bit earlier than we'd usually have a game but we've got the opportunity to play, it's against foreign opposition, so it's a good chance for the players to have their first game.'
'We can rotate the players and give everybody a fair amount of playing time, so it's a good test and we'll see how the lads adapt to it.'
If they turn out to be half as good as Kevin Sheedy then we will have some players on our hands.
