Ziegler To Goodison?

It was dry but overcast as we headed up Nimrod Street towards Goodison in search of Our Snout, we found him waking in the jigger behind the Winslow.

All he kept on about was Bainsey going to Manchester United and reckons he knows who Moyesy has lined up as a replacement.

Snouty reckons that Moyesy has Juventus left-back Reto Ziegler (Rene to his mates) lined up as the perfect replacement.Up for sale by Juve, the 26-year-old former Tottenham and Wigan ace joined them from Sampdoria last summer, but is yet to appear after they took the surprise decision to immediately loan him to Fenerbache. 

Rene played 38 times in the Turkish Super League last season, but returned to Italy during the summer only to be told he does not figure in manager Antonio Conte's plans. 

The news has alerted Moyesy with Manure continuing their pursuit of Bainesy.  

Snout reckons Moyesy is said to have asked Juventus to name their price for Ziegler, but baulked at their £5million valuation, as he rates the player at closer to £2million.
