He played 124 league games for Everton scoring 3 times, before moving to Sunderland.

He played just 10 games before returning to his beloved Everton. Stubbsey described his time away from Everton as like "being injured for 6 months".

He played a further 45 times for Everton. He is now on the coaching staff at Goodison.
