Happy Birthday Imre

Blues former striker Imre Varadi was born on this day back in 1959.

Varadi did not stay at the Blues for long, but he will always be remembered for scoring a goal that beat the shite in an FA Cup tie at Goodison back in 1981. The Blues won 2-1 with Peter Eastoe grabbing the other goal.

Varadi played 35 times for the Blues scoring seven times.
