Shaggy Moves On

Everton and England's full back Gary 'Shaggy' Stevens left the Blues today for Glasgow Rangers back in 1988.

Shaggy was a pivotal part of the Blues great team of the mid 1980's winning an FA Cup, two League titles and a European trophy, but the ban on English clubs in Europe forced a few of our stars North of the Border.

Shaggy was sold for £1m to the Scottish club and has a successful period with Glasgow Rangers.

He is now a sports physiotherapist and recently emigrated to South Africa.
