Everton's new kit for 2010/11 due to be unveiled soon, speculation is running wild at what colour it will be. Don't tell anyone but we at Blue Kipper  think it will be Royal Blue.

Here's what I think the new shirt should look like for the 2010/11 season. Danny - Season ticket holder in main stand

How about the same design as the away kit, but royal blue with a white band? I never liked the baby bib look in 86, although it does look better with the proper badge and Chang logo, than it ever did with plain NEC sponsor. Or even put the white on the back of the shirt, so the players name stands out.

Been thinking about Le Coq strips ... how about re-creating some of the classics for awayb strips. We could have a version of the classic Le Coq Argentina kit - but with more of a grey/blue and white wide stripe look with black shorts ... or even a yellow/amber version of the famous late 70s/early 80s St Etienne green shirt. Let's be creative ... not just repeating the old EFC 85-95 kits for the next ten years!

Looking forward to getting this one! I think last season's was the only one I've given a wide-berth since 1999.

Umbro had things sussed, we have a great history but we have made such progress lately that we cant keep falling back on that. Someone mentioned kit prices before, personally I believe we should have a new one every two seasons. Then I'd be happy to pay £40 but otherwise I wait until near the end of the season as £40 is too much for such a short space of time!

Not for me thanks, but I can see why it may be the one.How come we are changing the shirt EVERY season now...thought we tried to stave off rampant commercialism or are we just like all the other money grabbers now!!

Use the 1968 - 72 it as the basis. Add 'The Tower', perhaps a minor infusion of white or other colour. Time to tell the manufactures that it is Everton who should decide and not them.

If you know your history. You will know that Everton have over the years worn a variety of unsuitable kits. From Arsenal, Blackburn and even RS, yes it's true (1891-92) look alike colours. The latest offerings. Be it Umbro, LeCog or whoever leave a lot to be desired. They pampered to themselves and not to the proud history of 'OUR' club. If the intention is to be retro then at least take look at the 1968-72 colours which is what most Evertonians want and identify to. Add 'The Tower' and most would be happy with minor contributions of white or other trim. We are Everton. It's about time the the kit suppliers are told that it is us and not they that should be deciding what colours our team are to wear.

The above Lineker-esque kit is stunning! I would love for Le Coq to produce something like this. My only issue with it would be its based on a jersey from an era in our history to which we have yet to return. Love it nonetheless. Le Coq: so much better than those awful conveyor-belt umbro jerseys; at least L.C place thought in the making of our shirts.x

1 = 20, Ah mate that's the worst news I've heard in a while!? Did you get it from a reliable source?! Are you actually Davey Moyes!? lol Pink!? Fair enough, the female kit can be pink but the lads!? No ta lol.

Joe, unfortunately it is mate, think its out in about 2 weeks. The worst thing we could of ever done was signing back up with Le Coq Sportif. Don't get me wrong the 84/85 kit was a belter but nowadays they are just vile, there not arsed about your club colours in the past, they just want to make a name for them selves by making different kits.......Get rid ASAP!

All blue with a stiff white collar (not just a band) to cash in on the popularity of the current England shirt is what I'd be picking ... not so much tacky retro as 'classic' will be the key.

Not for me pal. Why does it seem we have decided to go retro all of a sudden!? Plain Royal Blue, no stripes, no shiny lines, no silly hankerchief like this year. 1=20 (Great name btw) tell me it's not true!
Joe, Liverpool, 8:23 AM 21/05/2010

Id be surprised if we went retro again. Typical that Umbro went good when we got rid. Citys home shirt is nice and classy the exact opposite of the club!

i really like this, and hope it is nxt season's shirt, and if so i'd be buyin the whole kit, the chang sponsor looks gr8t, as a another reviewer writ i dont like the shiny blue lines, makes it look a bit cheapish, but defintley a gr8t design.

This is a remake of the 1986 kit - that kit is widely regarded as THE WORST Everton kit of all time - this is equally horrendous. Everton wear blue shirts, not blue shirts with a big white bib on them. Its atrocious and I sincerely hope that no-one at EFC is even contemplating anything like this. A modern take on the 1966 kit would be brilliant in my opinion.

Do you not remember the kick-off last time they had a half-white shirt in the 80s? Lets not volunteer to go through that again, we play in royal blue... end of.

It's hideous. We need to look at some Italian designs and be subtle and classy at the same time.

In my opinion I don't think this should be what next seasons kit should look like. Like what many others have said, we should just have a plain royal blue home jersey. I know this is a bit off topic, but has anyone heard the new three lions song for this years world cup and if you have what do you think of it. I don't like it though. Go on youtube and make your mind up.

oh hell no! this is a mingin kit, mind you if you type in everton kit 2010/2011 into google images u will find an image of this kit sort of unwrapped, and I remember looking up last seasons kit on google before it was unveiled too. I hope this isn't the kit for next season :(

I just hope they 2nd Kit isnt as bad as the whispers in Everton ONE suggested! diluted redhsite was one claim! Its a nice feature this but I still reckon Umbro depsite giving poor service to Everton had it about right, just tweak the kit so no radical change of image is required, but then that looses shirt sales. How about a new shirt every season but they are cheaper from day one and not £40 notes for three months then reduced just before christmas and then further reduced after christmas, and then finnish the season with a further everything must go flurry, saying that I bought a black n pink one for £10! What ever the kit turns out to be try and do it at a better price please Everton people only as with any club only have so much to spend, I would happily do all my shopping in one hit if it was a decent price than wait for the bargains!

Not bad, but the cuffs don't blend well with the upper chest. I like the retro idea though and I certainly wouldn't mind the stripe effect. I'm pretty sure there'd be an equal amount of uproar if it was too retro though! Still can't believe Le Coq Sportif make our kits...
