New Kit Evolution

The wait is almost over for Everton fans, as the much anticipated campaign to launch the Club's new home kit for the 2010/11 season begins today.

The whispers and mystery surrounding the new kit will finally be revealed when the striking new home strip is unveiled for the first time by a very special player at Goodison Park on Wednesday 30th June.

The "Evolution" theme of the new kit is expected to be a big hit with Blues as it has retained the traditional royal blue elements loved by fans. Everton and retail partner Kitbag commence the heavyweight marketing campaign for the Blues' new home colours today, with the reveal of large poster sites around Goodison under the banner headline of "Evolution".

The Le Coq Sportif kit is described as "an evolution of the traditional Everton royal blue colour, technically advanced and engineered for success". This follows on from the "Revolution" theme of the very successful new Everton away kit, which was launched at the beginning of June.

Robert Elstone, CEO of Everton Football Club commenting on the imminent reveal and launch said, "Since we commenced our partnership with Kitbag I know that Evertonians have been impressed by the way we have launched our new kits. I am sure supporters will love the new home kit, which draws inspiration from previous historic Everton home strips."

Fans will be able to pre-order their new Everton home kit before they see it online via evertondirect.com from 24 June 2010.

Here are what some of the Everton fans think the kit should look like. Click on the links below to see the kit.

I've seen the new home kit and it is exactly the same template as the pink one but all blue. I havnt seen the shorts or socks, but should imagine they're white. :)

Kit 1 hands down, the rest are shocking like our very dodgy away shirt! Who on earth decides on these decisions!

No 1 Kit is easily the best as it is strikingly different, a touch of class and blue and whit! COYB

I'm absolutely bricking it to see what LCS come up with after last seasons home shirt and our new pink away one. Seriously, I haven't sweated this much since the 1st time I shaved my balls. As ever, fingers crossed that it will actually be fit for wear and not join last years shirt, in the bottom of my draw with the tags still attached.
