Tim Ready For War

The Blues have revealed one of the goalkeeping tops that Tim Howard will be wearing this coming season, and your first reaction is 'oh my days.'

The Blues have gone for a camouflaged keeper top, and USA No.1 Tim Howard would not look out of place fighting in the jungle in this rig out.

With all the daily papers and Sky News picking up on it however, sponsors Chang will be delighted as however poor the kit is, all publicity is good publicity as they say.

Aaaargggggghhhhhhhhh

I think the fatal mistake here is that this should be the outfield kit! Imagine the Gorilla war tactics that Moyes could use? Never get caught out with off side, the lines man would not see the players and the ball would be "ghosting" into the net. Bad tackles by the blues would go unnoticed and silky players such as Nasri would just look clumsy and foolish! Maybe we could get some snipers in fox holes around the pitch too! Premier League champions? I think so!

Like the idea, too bad it's not good old fashioned DPM or the new All Terrain Pattern! Would be an excellent tribute if it was!

I like it, and Tim looks really cool in it too.

Its a good shirt from my point of view, I do quite a bit of fishing so it will be a real good way of wearing my teams crest without sticking out like a smacked arse. I tried the pink one last year but the other anglers complained that I was scaring all the fish away. If it is going to look good on anybody, then I am sure it will look the dogs on Timmy Howard. COYB.

I reckon it'll look ace once Timmy gets his bandana on and camo's up his face an all. "To survive a war, you gotta become war"

I like it. If its to honour the troops then I see no problem with it. At least we are showing our support to them and no other team is doing that at all.

When the players pass the ball back to keeper, Timmy will camouflage into the background and will end up making a mistake!

11 kits in 11 years??? Enough said - EFC rob the fans blind don't improve the ground, make no effort to sign players. Demand crazy money for awful views of the match... I love this club with my Soul but as long as Kenwright is at the helm things will never improve. Why do no other fans think that this is a complete joke. The only decent thing we have done in the time Kenwright has been at the club is Finch Farm. We even struggle to keep our best players...

My 5 year old son likes it as it combines the Army with Everton, his 2 favourite things at the moment ! Someone in the marketing and design dept obviously likes little pills with smiley faces on too !

At the end of the day, so long as Tim is happy wearing it, then that's all right with me. The home one is better than the away version, and once again, Evertons' shirts are giving us some good PR. COYB !!!

I think it looks pretty good and next season will be a battle with no new signings so at least Tim will look ready and up for it. Worried the camouflage is going to do its job though and there's going to be some mix-ups.
