Its quite descent like , better den r home shirt now anyway. All everton home shirts really shud be just royal blue with a bit of white on it but not like stripes or a triangle of white like the dis season's one. Come on we had a great season 84/85 but there's no need to do a copy of it and anyway on the original its not the triangle is not as big as the current one.

Working down on the sunny east coast. Wouldn't it be great to see the royal blue shirt white round collar blue socks with white top and blue stripe on white shorts.Tradition the bed rock of this great club .Unfortunatly I understand our beloved club has to source revenue so I would go for Mark's kit.

Hi fellow kippers I am nearly 50 years old and been blue all my life since leaving Penny Lane in 1970, have not missed any news or result the whole time, through the time difference or miles. The thing about the Kit SITUATION is it has to be unmistakably EVERTON. BLUE SHIRT, WHITE SHORTS AND SOX...I don't want to EVER have my team look like Chelsea on the Telly!!!! The best thing the "Powers That Be" have done is add the word Everton to the Famous badge. Showing your shirt in a country where football isn't always the most popular sport, the name has to be THERE. The brand of shirt is a scarey thought to me, as an expat (overseas) bluenose, I am all about local product. ADIDAS, German, PUMA, Same.. Le COCK French? NIKE just plane Nasty Company. Is there an English brand PLEASE even if it has to be a Tennis player like Fred Perry. We all know you have to have a sponser, and you have to grin and bear it, even if there logo is crap. To finish....We have had some bloody Amazing looking kits through the years, that we are proud of and would love to hang on to for EVER, but We have to sell those new shirts every year to our young boys and girls, so we can buy Handy little things like Arteta"s.. It's a Cruel Blue world People. P.S. Yeah.. V necks Do Suck....Even Down Under

I think that collar looks more like the one on the old old red shite kit? I prefer the kit we have now. Sorry
Paul, Bournemouth, 8:53 AM 19/03/2010

This the retro 82 kit, photoshopped to remove hafnia and the old style badge and replace them with our latest badge and sponsor. If you look closely you can see the scoredraw lable in the back - I've got this kit already!!! I hope whatever theclub comes up with isn't too fussy and is ROYAL blue - White shorts and socks please.

not bad.really like this seasons shirt. wish they would stop changing every season.

I liked the Puma Kits, stylish and very classy, and then we signed that stupid deal with Umbro, and the kit looked exactly like a ripp off as 20 othe clubs had similar designs. absolutely love what they have done with the new Italy kit, imafine the badge on the middle of the shorts band (buckle area), might be mor successful then superman returns....

I hear what people are saying about the Nike & Adidas brands - but do we really want people to think we have become a 'blue version of the shite?' Because that's what we'll say. And I myself would like to see umbro back as like us they are an old English institution with a lot of history. Keep your yankee-doodle-Nike for basketball kits and your german Adidas for the shite, chelski, derby etc and lets do something original we can all wear with pride.
Toby, Nottingham, 1:31 PM 18/03/2010

I bet it's the same people that complain about who the sponser is that complain about not having enough money to buy players. The best offer on the table determines who the sponser is therefore it must have been Chang, who we seem to have a good relationship with. They aren't that well known over here but they're massive in Thailand, that's what branding and advertising is all about, that why they want to advertise with us. I'm just glad that the people that get precious about who the sponser is or who makes the kit aren't running the club!
Tommy, Liverpool, 1:24 PM 18/03/2010

Anyone who says this kit isn't good is a bad wool. It is miles better than anything we have worn over the past 20 years. It is proper 'royal blue', unlike the shite we're currently sporting. It has just enough white on it and a good retro look.
Barry Potatoes, Uganda, 1:01 PM 18/03/2010

id like summit like the chelsea kit with the zip up by the the collor and yh blue with a white stripe down it somewhere that would look smart coyb ftrs

Adidas or Nike is what we need we are a big club and need a big brand, lecoq, umbro, reebok all second rate to the big two brands lets drop this S***e and get a decent kit.
Stanno, Widnes, 9:58 AM 18/03/2010
37
A bit plain and unnecessarily 'old style'... we're not Burnley in disguise. Why does every 'new' idea for a strip have to hark back to one from the early 80s?? Some of them were awful ... why not splash HAFNIA across the front and be done with it? Surely some Le Coq Sportif designers have some imagination and can make a modern, stylish kit which suits us?
Spragg Blair, New Zealand, 9:05 AM 18/03/2010

I think this shirt is smart. It's retro looking and reminds me a bit of the Hafnia kits we had in the early 80's.
Would be happy if this was our next seasons kit, although I seem to be in the minority of actually liking our current kit also.
Neil, Plymouth, 8:51 AM 18/03/2010

v-necks suck.this lookes dated .i agree with most about the brand ,nike or adidas a must altho the 05/06 umbro home with the short collar was prob our best over the last few seasons. lose the le coq i say.
dave, ireland, 1:58 AM 18/03/2010

as far as shirst go its ok, but u idiots who say about chang sponsoring us........ 1st ask this why is chang sponsoring us? answer no one else will sponsor us with a lucrative deal. which by the way was the clubs biggest ever sponsorship deal.
2nd who cares who sponsors us? me i couldnt care less as long as everton get the best value for money!
the kit supplier doesnt matter about who sponsors us if companies want to sponsor us then they will. i myself wouldnt want adidas because we would have the same shirt as chelsea only with a bit of gold thrown in! oh yer so does the chelsea shirt!!
some people need to get a grip on this whole kit manufacturer and sponsorship, obviously the best deals at the time are what everton took!!
Craig, OG1N, 12:58 AM 18/03/2010
31
I REALLY wish we could get rid of Chang as a sponsor. It seems to spoil every kit in my opinion. Moving away from Umbro was a bad choice, they were a decent designer. Nike is a safe bet, all their kits look good.
Sean, Bootle, 12:45 AM 18/03/2010

Last weeks one wins by a mile, this is far too plain for me.

I would like to see a shirt with a bigger collar just like the one 2 one shirt
Blue Boy, Telford, 12:22 AM 18/03/2010
28
with Nike or Adidas we can get a quality sponsor, not some Thailand beer that only gets sold in Everton pubs called "Chang"..
We've been waiting for a good kit now since the Umbro kit back in 2005 was it with the 3-0 over liverpool with johnson bagging a goal at the end.. And we've never really had a top quality make such as Nike or Adidas, think its about time we started getting them.
Harry B, Lpool, 9:41 PM 17/03/2010
27
dont like the collar too much on this one, looks cheap and like a 70's training top!, more of a round neck is better like the ones a couple of seasons ago!
paul, southport, 9:05 PM 17/03/2010
26
Looks good to me, no shitty stripes going across and won't make us look like a laughing stock like the current kit does
Todd, Kirby, 7:20 PM 17/03/2010
25
My god, what the hell is that!! We wil NEVER have a quality kit unless we change to either ADDIDAS or NIKE and get a better sponsor than shitty chang! Le coq are a second rate brand and thats the same with Chang..i mean, whos ever heard of them?? Change to nike and you'll see a change for the better.
alexander O'Brien, childwall, 6:49 PM 17/03/2010

its betta than the 1 last week but its still crappy, i dont think it would fit in with the rest of the league to old
vinny, bradford , 6:40 PM 17/03/2010
23
Are we the only club in the league that changes it's kit every season???? Can't we stick with one for at least 2 seasons????
Jamie, Merseyside, 5:36 PM 17/03/2010
22
I do like that one it reminds me if 82-83? Ish.The last one before le coq made it.The era of David Johnson I think
Gary Glover, Halewood, 5:32 PM 17/03/2010
21
Sorry this one sucks, I think the designer has taken a photo of an 80's strip and put it on his computer. Lets stay away from V necks people they are old hat. Last weeks was better just tone down the white additions on it. Just a thinner stripe. Lets move the market people, we are a club know to have a school of science lets put our thinking hats on and move it up a notch.
Derek Houlton, Away, 5:22 PM 17/03/2010

Plain and all blue is much better.
Man City's kit is good and would look fantastic in proper blue.
Just a shame it is Le Coq Sportif still. The quality is not there compared with Umbro kits.
Nick, Croydon, 4:56 PM 17/03/2010
17
Both equally nice kits, prefer ths one though, all blue kits are nice
James Kenyon, North Wales, 3:50 PM 17/03/2010

this kit is good and shows the everton colours well.
though there needs to be something else on the front of the shirt please
a bit bland
michael fairclough, aughton, 3:07 PM 17/03/2010

Tobys right about the Eighties kit can't remember the year but it was the Hafnia logo.
H, ireland, 3:01 PM 17/03/2010

Fake! better than the one sent last week, It may be Fashionable of sorts to buy a shirt and wear it but why doe we need the need to change it so much so quickly? I think Umbro IMHO had it right tweaking the design for those that wanted to buy the latest bestest shirt but keeping the design akin and inclsusive the masses who cant afford a new shirt each year, The principle of a radical design each year is naff. KIS we dont need radical or bold were Everton! and its not the Nineties which ahd some piss awful designs!
Ian, Town, 2:38 PM 17/03/2010

This looks like another retro kit. I hate retro kits. (Although this one looks ok) I bought this years kit but refuse to wear it as its the worst shirts I've ever seen. Last weeks one looked good although I hated it the 1st I saw it but its grown on me.
I just hope next seasons isn't another bloody retro kit.
Michael Reilly, Maghull, 2:19 PM 17/03/2010

This one is much better. No pointless white strip across the chest, miles better. Everton's home shirt should be plain blue, away shirts are for tinkering with.
The negative of the last shirt would be perfect as an away shirt. Or replacing the Blue & White with Gold & Black.
Nick, Liverpool, 1:58 PM 17/03/2010
9
Plain kits best for a home strip -all blue, then you can experiment with the away altho i like the black on this seasons, maybe get rid of the pink and add a bit of gold
Mark, Liverpool, 1:48 PM 17/03/2010

This is much better, I agree about keeping it simple. I would love us to return to the simpler club badge too without the name below it makes it to fussy. The shirt I would really love to see is one based on the 1966 shirt with the white collar. Keep it simple!
rob, ninfield, 1:42 PM 17/03/2010

i prefered last weeks one i think it was gorgeous, either way it blue so i like it!!!

Last weeks was better imo. Similar to this seasons kit, don't like the V kneck either.

I gotta say I like both of the 2 kits shown so far, just get us out of the crap were in now and keep the next kit for at least a couple of seasons!!
Dave, South Shields, 1:15 PM 17/03/2010

I like this one. Plain and simple is best. That said I would love a shirt like the above with a diagnal white sash. Something like River Plate or the Man City away. omething different.
Barry Symons, Liverpool, 1:15 PM 17/03/2010

It's a nice looking shirt but I remember these neck and collar trims off the umbro kit of early 80's (I think) with the Everton badge embroidered in that amber/gold colour so the Le Coq Sportif badge looks a little odd. Any more diligent Blues remember the exact year I'm talking about?
Toby, Nottingham, 1:11 PM 17/03/2010

I thought last weeks kit was better. Although I like the all blue shirt.
