Peter Walton, the Les Battersby look-a-like, refereed his last game in the Premiership on Saturday at Goodison Park in our 2-0 win against The Baggies.
Apparently, Peter, 52, was a boyhood Toffee and his Dad bought him an Everton shirt as a kid, he requested Everton at Goodison for his final game. He has reffed us three times this season, Baggies, Pie Eaters and Sitteh all at Goodison and we have won all three!
Any chance of refereeing the semi-final then Peter?
He is off to the USA this week to become general manager of the Professional Referee Organization for the United States and Canada and will be based in New York until the end of the Major League Soccer season.
He has officiated in the Prem since 1994.
Peter's hobbies are watching Coronation Street and listening to Status Quo.
Moyesy gave Peter a farewell hug as he left the Goodison pitch on Saturday.
Good luck in the USA Les.
