Lord Mayor candidate and Toffeeman Joe Anderson has demanded to know why more Wembley tickets are not available for 'genuine fans'.
Liverpool and Everton will receive around 31,000 tickets each for the FA Cup semi-final but Cllr Anderson wants to know why there are not more and why the kick-off is 12.30pm. The shite actually get slightly more because of the end they are in.
He has written to FA chairman David Bernstein seeking answers.
Joe said: 'I am writing to express my huge disappointment in the FA for continuing to put other people and organisations before genuine fans.....'
He also said the 12.30pm kick-off will mean some fans have to set off at 5am.
An FA jobsworth said: 'We were not able to deliver a safe journey to and from Liverpool with anything other than a 12.30pm kick-off due to railway engineering works.'
'A route back on the Saturday was even more important given the Hillsborough memorial on Sunday.'
Where have the other near 30,000 tickets gone? Surely Club Wembley has not got them all?
