Moyes Gets Some Money

Bill Kenwright has promised David Moyes some money in January to spend on some new players to bolster his squad. There are plenty of targets for Moyesy to choose from

Bill Kenwright said: "We are talking about January and there will not be a lot of money compared to what other clubs are spending on centre forwards, but there will be money - there will be investment in January."

Of course we could always go into more debt if the banks or some sugar daddy would lend us more money..........................

Is Kenwright not trying to sell the club, Paul? I think this has already been established. Until a buyer with money to buy and finance the club (and a few bob to improve the team) steps forward I can't understand why anyone would be less than grateful to Kenwright for keeping Everton afloat. Thanks Bill.

How about Donovan and Beckham, How exciting would that be? Cant afford them both but could sign them on pay as you play until we fill the seats and get some sponsor money in...

Why is it that every year even when we sell or let a few players go, we always owe the same £95 million to the banks? I mean why are we always stuck on this number? Like if they rounded it up to £100 million every year then at least you’d say well, OK give or take that’s how much...But come £95 million? Come what may every year?

Knowing what Bill has give Moyes in the last 3 years that will be 5o grand then. Should buy us a Sunday league player. Kenwright has to go

Donovan would be the buy we need. But yet again whats the piont if Moyes plays 1 upfront. I understand he doesn't want to concede but what about getting goals David???

By his own admission, Kenwright says that there won't be wads of cash available. So lets hope Moyes can see where we need to strengthen and buys quality. A quick fix is not the way to deal with the current situation.i.e. Mcfadden. Donovan on loan and a quality striker or two, because if Saha gets injured, Moyes will yet again be playing 4-5-1 with tiny up front, and we can't go on forever doing that!

Oh. While I'm here.....Billy wants to go, Johnny needs to go and Anichebe just needs a lift. Tot that up plus the Arteta money and we have roughly £20-24M to spend. Donovan in on loan/permanent and hey presto.....new quality players in, dead wood out & morale up!

Donovan on a permanent deal would be the ticket. Proven quality. I also reckon if we bought an out and out left back we could let Bainsey play left mid and that would help us more.

Of course there will Bill. We'll have the Arteta funds plus the interest off it.

However many Millions it is we desperately need a goalscorer and maybe some cover for Leighton before the lad burns out..Get rid of some of the dead-wood and he'll have even more to spend..

So Landon Donovan on loan..
