£5 For Kids A Big Success

Everton have announced that the '£5 for kids' ticket for the Tamworth game was a huge success. Surprise, surprise!

Almost 5,000 Under-16 tickets were purchased by parents for the FA Cup third round victory over Tamworth last weekend. Apparently, that is almost three times greater than the average for Under-16 attendance at Goodison Park matches this season.

Everton will continue the initiative for the 4th Round tie with Fulham.

CEO Bobby E said: 'We want as many youngsters as possible to experience the magic of live football and the FA Cup is the perfect time to reach out to the next generation of Evertonians.'

'The ticket offer proved a great success against Tamworth and now that so many junior Blues have had their first taste of FA Cup action, we want to make sure they return to cheer the team on to the next round of the competition.'

Dad'n'Lad, can't beat it. What do you remember about your arl fella taking you as a kid?

Remember one game in particular, my Dad took me the replay against Oxford when we won 4-0 (1984)? It started snowing and the ball had to be changed to the orange one. Sharpy scored at least one. I remember the smell of the horses and the smell of the complimentary programme. We sat in the Top Balcony.
