Tranmere Rovers have announced that The Liverpool Senior Cup Final against Everton will now take place on Wednesday, 1 August, kick off 7.30pm.

The match was originally scheduled to take place 24 hours earlier but has moved following a request from Everton.

Rovers reached the final with wins over Cammell Laird and Prescot Cables while Everton defeated Bootle in the semi-finals.
