I don't get it! Same thing happens every year! Only difference now is, you have to pay twice for the privilege! Once for the Everton TV membership and an added payment for each individual game! Had they got their shit together then you could at least say that they sorted the live stream out!

Spent 50+ minutes last night trying to connect before finally catching the last 3 mins of the first half. Feed quality in the second half was poor at best. Judging by the connection errors/timeouts and the statement of the supplier above, they simply underestimated the demand for the feed. Same as the previous supplier last year and indeed the year before that for me. At least this time I received a good response from the club and we're being promised a refund. Can't blame the club for the failings of the suppliers though...

I made the first comment on this. I have just received the following email from Everton: Dear Evertonian, A technical error during last night’s game meant that you were one of a group of users to experience problems viewing the live stream from Dundee United. Everton's digital media services supplier Rippleffect provided this statement earlier today: "Due to unprecedented traffic levels, there were some fans who experienced a disrupted service during last night's match. "Rippleffect apologises to the Club and more importantly those fans who did encounter these issues and we are working closely with Everton and our partners to ensure that this is not repeated and that all fans have a great online experience for the rest of the pre-season. "Alongside the Club we will work throughout the course of today to ensure that all complaints are dealt with promptly and appropriately." As an affected user, you will be receiving a refund payment to the value of last night’s game (£3.99). This repayment will be processed today and you need to do nothing else in order to receive this reimbursement. However, if you are a package purchaser who does not wish to continue with the package for the remaining five fixtures of the LIVE pre-season calendar, please email support.evertontv@evertonfc.com confirming your full refund request and including the code: DU190712. We completely understand your frustration but can assure you we are working with our technical provider to ensure the cause of last night’s problems is dealt with and corrected and that all users who wish to continue with the service receive a quality of service that is of the required standard. Kind Regards, Evertontv Support. Well done Everton.

I watched the whole game with no problems whatsoever until the last few minutes when it buffered a couple of times but nothing serious and was just a few seconds.

This was the first time that Dundee United were enabling their fans to view in this way. I suspect it the problem was with United. I suffered also. Cost me £6, was late so missed the first 10 minutes so only got about 15 minutes. Managed to get the audio commentary through Arabzone though. Sounded like a draw would have been a fairer result but its the performance that is more important at this stage.

I had payed for the full package. I tried to get through for 45mins before I called it a day. I seem to remember that something similar happened last year. I hope that I will get my money back. Very frustrating and I wonder if anyone else had the same problem

I paid for the pre season games last year and the same thing happened i was gutted got no refund or explaination. was not prepared to waste my money this year but you'd think that one year down the line they'd have sorted it out.

Absolute fiasco. Though it was a problem at my end, and spent over an hour loading, re-loading, trying different browsers etc, etc. what a piss up. No wonder EFC fans worldwide try "FREE" P2P sites.……it's a disgrace.

I saw the first 23 minutes then it vanished. I kept trying to reconnect without success. My first email to the address given was ignored. Eventually when I mentioned 'refund' I received the following: Please forward your receipt confirmation email to digital.content@evertonfc.com clarifying your refund request and one will be processed. No apology or explanation. All the advice given on the twatter section made it seem as though it was my fault and that I was one of the few having problems. This was down to the 'host' as they could not handle the numbers logging in. Anyway, the official announcement which has just appeared on the site informs us that those of us who did make contact will be contacted today. I'll wait and see. Then I'll wait and see again tomorrow with my fingers crossed that we'll be able to watch a bit more of the game.
