Everton Loan
JOAO WANDERS AGAIN
Joao - Whawow to his mates - Silva has gone on loan to for a year to Vitoria FC in Portugal.
He joined us in June 2010 on a three year deal from Portugal's Desportivo Das Aves. On January 31 2011 Silva went to second division side Uniao Desportiva de Leiria on loan until the end of last season.
He's 6' 2" so you wouldn't expect him to be missing his mam.
After our battering at Benfica and Sporting we can't say we miss Portugal either! Well, except for the Gambrinas restaurant in Lisbon.....

I'm not so sure Moyesy rates him. I think weve sent him back to Portugal in the hope he gets games and does well enough to earn a move as he's only got 2 years left of his deal. I think he's been sent out on loan to be put in shop window over there.

Let's hope that Joao Silva is being very carefully groomed for a big future with the club for next season. If he does really well and some of our other forwards fail to make a real impact, Joao Silva could come back champing at the bit and with a real point to prove.
